Does, anyone know why exactly they dont get to keep their uniform?? Ive always wondered why...like I find it gross they sweat in them, get spray tan and makeup on them...yet they have to give everything back

Its weird

Gives DCC control of the uniform for one thing.   You won't see it in a video in someone's bedroom or in photos outside the DCC territory or brand.  Remember that photo of Jenna (the paperback book) with her photo and that pregnancy stick hanging out of her pocket?    Or Kalyssa.

I doubt players keep their uniforms either. Maybe some special award ones.

The uniforms are property of the team. I doubt they want any girl selling her uniform for cash on EBay or wearing it for personal appearances outside their control.

Yeah, I would be curious if any team’s cheerleaders are allowed to keep their uniforms. Usually, uniforms, costumes, etc are the property of the team, production, etc. Now, I think a lot of teams (at least at lower levels) keep them because they’re re-used year after year. I don’t think the DCCs do that, so I would think that control over the uniform is the main factor.

Her hairstyle is SO BAD.  I think it probably bothers some people more than others (like me), but there is literally nothing pretty about her hairstyle.  Her hair itself is fine but DO something with it!  I always thought Nicole Bulcher's curly hair looked nice.

It opens the Cowboys up to way too much chance of defamation.  It's all about the brand and protecting the image.  Can't say I blame them.

Ok, just looked at the photos and the one of Maddie is pretty unfortunate. I think part of it is the pose though. The rookie (blonde curly hair - can’t remembsr her name) doesn’t look great in that shot either. 

The number of Rachel W pics is odd. I could see if there were tons of pictures of Kashara or someone else who is in the front of the formation, but it seems like they sought Rachel out to get that many pics of her. She’s definitely photogenic though.

We have had this conversation before. Jenna did a photo shoot and her stock photo was sold to someone who badly used Photoshop to make this book cover, Jenna did not pose for this cover itself and it’s a little unfair to get upset at her about it.

Makes, sense but to do all that work to "couture" the uniform to their bodies always was like ok, but than they lose it. Do they just recycle it?? Is there a vault with all of the past uniforms...what happens to the past ones.

Bridget looks REALLY good in these photos. I’m still rooting for her to be point one day! Also, I’ll never get over how absolutely gorgeous Heather is. I know many people don’t agree, but I’ve always thought she was one of the prettiest on the squad. Her look is just so unique and I hope she stays at least one more year!

So, to be fair, a ton of those Rachel W pics were repeats of the same picture over and over again. But she still did have a heavy presence. I really don’t understand why...her coloring looked good and she’s obviously beautiful...but she also looks very dull. Something about her look isn’t smart or bright. Compare it to Kashara or Bridget or Lauren who just look a lot more spirited and like there’s something behind their eyes!

Bridget, I think, although Gina also has a prominent outie. Not seeing weight gain with Kashara, unless she’s the very, very unfortunate one in the jump split pic. Epically bad.

Where are you seeing this?  The only one I saw of Kash was from well above the waist up?

Also, she has huge veneers and a mouth that looks like it’s hanging open a lot.

Kashara’s face looks a bit puffier in those photos (though not bad), but I don’t see weight gain through the body. I did think she looked heavier and somewhat out of shape at finals and during some of training camp, but I don’t see it anymore. Tasha and Maddie - i see it with both but I don’t think either looks bad. Maddie’s hair is the bigger issue than the weight IMO. 

Not really a fan of this dance.

I hate hate hate hate that last section where it looks like Khalyn and Kelli? look like they're lost and off. Choreo sucks on this one.

Honestly, this video is a perfect example of Judy needs to be replaced...like the 70s this dance can work, but now the routines have become so tired. New Blood

Agree that wasn't the best snap of Maddie.  Cianna didn't look that great either (the rookie you referred to).  Timing is everything.

I don't think Maddie's hair looks bad in this one.  I think a longer length (ie: Nicole Bulcher), would help.

I think this dance has been around for a few years. They did it at Oxnard in 2016(?) but idk who did the choreo but it’s pretty bland.  Definitely not a favorite of mine.

That makes sense to me. I haven’t been super impressed with her choreography that I’ve seen before. I like Michelle Keys choreo, and I don’t think Sarah’s stuff is awful, but overall, i haven’t been impressed with former DCC choreo generally. I thought Jenna’s routine for the Raiderettes showed potential, and I may be forgetting someone else. That’s about it though. 

Amy owns a studio, so I wonder if she is any good at choreo.

I used to love watching the dance class videos everyone would post, but (and my lack of dance/choreography knowledge will probably show here), I’m bored with them now because it looks like they’re doing the same exact dance over and over no matter which studio they’re posting from and who is dancing. This goes for Michelle’s stuff too.

Shelly has said that they keep the old, re-usable one as extras/replacement pieces. A girl only gets one custom fit uniform. If something happens & a piece needs replaced, it comes out of the "reserves" closet:

I wonder, if a girl is like screw that, bye and leaves with theirs.. I would hahah...Like I worked hard for it and have been barely paid for all the tired nights. Im not giving it back. They are crazy

Although aesthetically being "larger" diminishes the DCC brand, as a fan who knows she and others are retiring, I can give a rats ass if the retirees are out of shape.
