CheezyXpressed September 24, 2018 Share September 24, 2018 Hopefully this is the last time we've seen Cleen and Christian. They're both talented guys and have delivered some incredibly beautiful pieces, but I want a season with just new people. Or do an all-star season to get get the nostalgia out of the way. ...even though I say all this, I wouldn't mind seeing Anthony again. He would have been a better coach this season with his zen like ways. 2 Link to comment
qtpye September 26, 2018 Share September 26, 2018 I really do not know why Christian was sabotaging that one guy on his team. He expressed some concerns about the design but really did I really did not see a ton of negativity, particularly for the standards of this show. Also, just because those ladies remind him of his daughters does not make blatant favoritism right even if it is a part of human nature. It was funny when the blonde girl got the best of his usual verbal sparring and totally shut him down... it's too bad that she is not the greatest tattoo artist. 5 Link to comment
psychoticstate September 26, 2018 Share September 26, 2018 Between the two, I would prefer Cleen as a coach. Christian, while talented, is way too combative and critical of his own people. None of those so-called ass tattoos were actually on anyone's ass. I felt bad for Kyle - - a stubborn canvas who wants a detailed, 16 hour tattoo in 6 hours and it has to be on the ribs and who taps out. I'm glad he wasn't eliminated for that because it really wasn't his fault. Tiffer (is that his name?) really does good work. I really wish IM wouldn't allow inktestants from other teams to speak during review of the tattoos. Okay, Stacy's wolf may not have been perfect and the teeth may have been off but let the judges criticize that - - not someone from Team Christian. If the judges don't notice it, that's on them. I thought for sure Turk was going to be eliminated, especially when he spoke about how he was doing the show to get money for his autistic son's schooling. 9 Link to comment
CheezyXpressed September 26, 2018 Share September 26, 2018 Tiffer has always been solid, it just sucks that if he wins Cleen wins too. *sigh* Same with Tim. I like his artwork, but his win means Christian gets money. I have a feeling that it's going to be Tiffer vs. Tim in the final with Angel Rose in the final three. Hopefully, we no longer get any brotherly fighting after this episode. 5 Link to comment
2727 September 26, 2018 Share September 26, 2018 (edited) Peck: "You're definitely in the running for hoping somebody fucks up more than you do." I believe that's the first time in ten seasons that he's made me laugh. That and Tim's claim that there's a body part called "the side of the ass" were my chuckle highlights. I was slightly annoyed that Jess skated by after inking a mediocre rose on somebody's hip, but was really steamed that TeeJ wasn't sent packing for that "three-eyed raven skull." Unreadable mess. There was a point during judging when they were comparing Kyle's and JP's tattoos and Nunez/Peck brought up application, line work and legibility. Dave then brought it back to the theme of the fucking day, which was creativity. Peck and Nunez continue to judge based on their personal whims, and I'm tired of it. TVbitch September 26, 2018 Share September 26, 2018 Dave's "Do you guys know where the ass is?" was priceless. I think Dave is the most honest judge, and the other two have agendas and/or have been directed by the producers. 12 Link to comment

Nunez absolutely loves Cleen, it can be very annoying. 3 Link to comment

Whenever there's a flash challenge, I know he's always going to go with Cleen's group. I agreed with Dave there. The postcard is more aesthetically pleasing, but the challenge was about creativity and Christian's group got that. 6 Link to comment
Inkmaster0345 September 26, 2018 Share September 26, 2018 Tiffer is so much better than everyone else right now it's just silly. He did a cleaner piece on someone's foot than half the field could do on someone's back during their best day. JP is that loose tooth that just won't fall out. Every round he advances from this point on should be considered an act of God. Can we get a flash challenge that involves the contestants doing tattoos? Please? 6 Link to comment
MuMuGuy September 26, 2018 Share September 26, 2018 That argument at the start between Jimmy and Kyle was insanely stupid. I fail to see how Kyle was being arrogant and cocky by telling Jimmy that he tries to add too many bells-and-whistles to his tattoos goofing him up on time management. Kyle not being eliminated for shoving Jimmy is proof that the show is about a bunch of wannabe tough guy (and gal) meatheads thumping their chests. Funny how Kyle Dumbar, I mean Dunbar was eliminated for putting his hands on Chris, but they were okay with violence between contestants. 5 Link to comment

Apatee September 27, 2018 Share September 27, 2018 Tiffer seems to be all but a lock for the finale right now, barring some crazy skull pick late in the season. He's quickly pulling ahead of the rest of the competition. JP was on borrowed time, but this wasn't his week to go home. Turk's canvas has to walk around with one of the ugliest tattoos I have seen on this show on full display the rest of his life. The other ones can be covered by everyday clothing at least. Hope that canvas likes turtlenecks. 7 Link to comment

I think he can expect one of the hardest canvases every time Christian gets the skull pick 1 Link to comment
