There are also promo pictures of a blond lady that looks like mary kay letournou and a guy with a beard.  Will they ever show up?  Maybe they are a replacement for Hazel and Tarter sauce when she dumps him or he gets a clue.

I thought they were just for ads and not an actual couple.

Yes! I keep watching for Discount Mary Kay LeTourneau and every week I'm disappointed.

I came here to find out if that’s who these people are.  They’re the big teaser photo of the TLC page for the show - who are they? I watch while knitting but think I’ve seen most people while glancing up, not these guys.

She is mugging to the camera like the the embodiment of playing-ditzy-on-an-80s-sitcom.  It odd.

Seriously.   These people.  Who are they?  Do all our current couples just quit and go home on day 75 and we get 15 days of these guys?  Why are they on the front page of the TLC show page, now and forever?

Also, if you're suspicious of the set up here, with the luggage and the chicken and all that, I invite you to look at the clothesline behind Ms. Geist / Chrissy Snow.  A clothesline that has ever been left out in weather or had wet clothes actually hung on it would likely not be defying gravity in that non-sagging, non-linear, "new rope just unwound from Target" way.

Spoiler

He's a Catfish. Not surprising. Stealing the pictures of someone who has half a million followers...smart. I knew we'd have at least one Catfish.

Another couple to join this train wreck. I knew they'd have to replace NotFodder Jesse and Darcey since he's going home.

Did I hear her pronounce "risquè": "risky" in the preview? She was saying her boyfriend didn't like her stripper job.

I'm going to hope she meant risky--as is maybe not the most safe choice of career? If she did pronounce risqué as risky, she gets a blank stare from me. He's Muslim, so I can imagine that he wouldn't be fond of her way of making a living.

Are these new recruits so boring that they don't warrant a whole season?  I mean, I didn't think you could top the boring-ness that is Ricky, Tarik and Paul.

I'm actually excited to watch these two which means, yes, they are probably as boring as hell because I have higher hopes than normal for good entertainment on them, lol.

Oh geez. I'm convinced these morons never use their phones for anything but trawling international dating sites, texts, and the occasional phone call. They have a computer at their fingertips, but never seem to use our friend Google for anything truly useful.

Marta, for example, might ask Google for a website describing the basic tenets of Islam. Just a thought. Because if she were to do that, she'd discover HER core religious beliefs are considerably different than Daya's. Since she appears unwilling to abandon her beliefs in favor of his, their "relationship" is effectively over before it really even starts.

That isn't even taking into account they are yet ANOTHER couple that can't talk to each other without a stupid app!

And yet, despite these glaring realities, Marta is going to waste hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars to spend two weeks away from her kids to meet this guy in Algeria? The stupid runs deep....

She looked like she was video chatting with someone in the preview, but the guy in the pictures provided by TLC has already said it's not him that she's been chatting with for over a year. He even jokingly said under 90DayFianceTea's post that he wants to be her fiancé with the crying laughing face emoji. He posted several IG stories in Arabic after it was revealed that his pictures were being used. He wasn't mad or anything. His followers were telling him to go after TLC for using his pictures, but he essentially said he wasn't interested in easy money and would rather earn his living through hard work. I don't know who is frauding--TLC or Marta, but surely she would be able to tell that the guy in the pictures and whoever she was video chatting with weren't the same person. Don't they Skype with both parties or receive videos during the casting process? I wouldn't put it past TLC to steal someone's pictures without consent to boost a storyline or drum up drama. Don't they have to get consent to film people? Plus, he has a large following of over 500k+ people, so I'm sure people steal his pictures all the time.

@AussieBabe those are excellent points  -  I've also questioned the casting process and timeline in regards to Tarik and Hazel.  If he'd only been talking to her for 2 weeks (if that's to be believed), I can't imagine either of them went thru a lengthy vetting process, much less getting all the applicable filming permits, etc.

There seems to be something more to the Marta/Daya story, but since it's already come out that neither of them are at the Tell All, I feel like we're just not going to get anything more.  So are they just "filler" since Tarik and Hazel are boring? And Ricky takes three weeks to tell Ximena "the truth"?  This season could have been wrapped up in about 4 episodes if we cut out all the commercials/previews/recaps/Ricky's bullshit, lol

@ALittleShelfish

I think that's why I prefer the OG 90 Day Fiance and not all these spin offs. I prefer it where people have been vetted, already gone through the process, and are actually dealing with real life issues surrounding cultural issues, language barriers, and just cohabitation in general. These people on Before the 90 Days are all fame hungry or attention seeking. Darcey and Jesse will probably be back for a third season because he will never marry her. Unless they are promised a TLC wedding special with big bucks. TLC seems to pick these people based on criminal records and drama factor. I can't see any of these people taking the next step and pursing the K1. Like why were Pole and Karine even on here? They knew they weren't going to be doing the K1 because he went to Brazil with the intent of marrying her there and doing the spousal visa.

Daya is apparently a real person. Somehow 90DayFianceTea uncovered his identity and found pictures of the real Daya. He looks similar to the comedian guy, but there are noticeable differences. They're not even from the same country. The dude in the promo pics is from Morocco. It makes no sense for them to be using another man's pictures for promo when the man she's been talking to appears to be real, and they have footage of them video chatting in next week's preview. I doubt she'll make it to Algeria which explains why they're being introduced when everyone else is returning home. Something is definitely off with their story for sure.

Maybe standards for stripper/exotic dancers are lower in Milwaukee?

Much, much lower.

Also standards for good Catholic mothers.  (Does anyone else wonder if that's a producer-driven story line?  I am not a Catholic, but I do have a strong Christian background . . . and have known many Catholics . . . and the whole "three generations of exotic dancers" thing just doesn't jibe with my understanding of the expectations of living in harmony with the faith.)

I don't know if its producer driven but, if not, she would be what we like to call "cafeteria Catholic" where they pick and choose what they want to follow of the faith.  No judgment on my part about it because I'm not great about following all the tenets of the Catholic faith but stripping would definitely be frowned upon by the Church.

And I just want to add to your comments, that dressed like that, and posting instagram photos like that, is SURE to attract a quality, kind, stable, fully committed family man, right? RIGHT?? I mean seriously, why hasn't she gotten a nice family man, dressed like that? It's one if the mysteries of the universe!

(I'm being extremely sarcastic, just to be clear.)

These two are mismatched in every way possible. He honestly seemed peeved off about her cross, and he even went as far as to talk to someone in his home/background while scoffing about it. A couple can be of two different cultural and religious backgrounds, but respect is first and foremost. They don't have that. Plus, he's pushing for her to convert? Sir, there are plenty of women who share similar beliefs and don't have career choices you don't approve of and don't need an iPad to communicate through Google Translate while Skyping. Find one. Marta...raise your standards as far as men.

What you say would be true IF they were an actual couple but this stinks to high heaven of fame whore wannabe/producer desperation.

True. We already one Google Translate couple. With any luck, they won't be back either. Producers were clearly desperate this season.

I feel stupid but I still don’t understand the catfishing element...did the guy with 500k followers confirm it wasn’t him but they were his pictures? But then we saw them video chat so how could it not be him? Is it that he just looks like the other guy? Super convenient video looping? I tried googling and even that didn’t help, it’s all articles about him not signing the invite letter or about her being catfished from before they were on the show. Thanks in advance for any explanation!

did they find this out while TLC was filming, because the would have been a great story and much more interesting than: Marta the religious stripper and muslim Daya just anger chat through google translate and he doesn't really want to meet her so let's let the story fizzle out....."

I want to know the story of how they even got on the show for three (that I counted) episodes. did a producer meet marta at her job and promise her a spot on the show because he thought she was really really into him? the whole thing was so weird and fake and a waste of time.

yes pretty pointless.

Or maybe because we got our hopes up so high for a catfishing situation with Corny and Antonio and Ricky and Melissa, only to have them dashed when the love of their life actually showed up... that the producers decided to throw us a bone.
