That is so dark and what is worse is that it is totally believable.   Out of all the TMOG/TM2 kids, I feel that Sophia is the one who will be irretrievably damaged.  She literally has no role models to emulate and no other point of references besides her mother.  I don't care that Farrah is allegedly a sex worker/escort but I do care that her daughter is not being sheltered from it.  Poor mite has never had a chance of a normal childhood.

So I was strolling around Instagram and Sophia came up. (HELL no I don't follow these fools) I didn't turn on the sound but Sophia was doing a bizarre make-up video.  FFS! She's only 10!  Farrah is doing her dirty. I see big storms ahead. It will be paid forward. And soon. Farrah can't dodge those charges.

OK. Scratch previous. Our power went out while we were walking dogs and Mr. DC is now watching Gator football game on phone. I fixed myself a hefty drink and tried to watch again. 

It’s actually Farrah fabulous in all her delusion (i.e. - see famous celebrity, superior intelligence, talks with senior producers/executives all the time who tell her how fabulous she is). I don’t think it’s her actual “comedy” act. Which is probably far less funny. I’m not sure if Druzy is doing a public service or work of the Devil.

Domestic Goddess....I listened for a few minutes. Not any comedy as far as I can tell. And the early 80's Roseanne coined "Domestic Goddess" back on HBO. ( I admittedly have given that as my job title to the IRS.)

The one positive I can find in the Sophia video:  the child is not flat and dead inside.   In still shots and videos with her mother, her eyes always look dead and soulless.

At least in this video, she has a personality.  Unfortunately, the personality is the one we saw in the video!

I guess at least Farrah is getting some nice perks with her sex work (no hate, work is work and she's certainly done more work than most of this franchise).  I guess a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to sit two seats away from Daniel Cleaver. 

But hahahaha that she pretends she's getting these trips and Emmy tickets because she's an actual actress or that the type of "businesswoman" who isn't in the sex work business. Farrah actually looks okay-ish here, considering. I'm sure Hugh Grant's wife/partner/girlfriend (who I assume was sitting next to her) was 19 kinds of confused as to who the woman next to her was and why she kept spewing word salad at her during commercial breaks.

I'm betting Farrah will have no time for that.  She can't deal with anyone who isn't a total sycophant all the time. My guess is if Sophia gives her too much of her own medicine, she'll pack up Baby Goo and send her to live out her mouthy teen years with Mykol and Mrs. Mykol (good luck to them). I'm no Mykol fan, but he's probably the best bet Sophia has in that family anyway.

It's interesting that you bring that up. I think it's still possible that she IS flat and dead inside. But she's performing. She knows when to turn it off and on. She "performs" to please her mother. 

I just finished this true crime podcast called Broken Harts. (*MASSIVE TRIGGER WARNING. STOP READING IF YOU'RE SENSITIVE TO THIS TYPE OF CONTENT*)

A family of 8 drives off of a cliff. No one survives. The podcast really delves into the lives of the mothers and their children. One mother had a big social media presence and there were TWO photos involving some of her adopted children that went viral. They attended a lot of music festivals and political rallies. People that knew them talked about how the kids would always be standing off to the side, very flat and empty looking, but then the one mother would say something like, "You should go hug that man" and the kid would light up and have this huge smile and go hug a homeless dude and have this great conversation with him. Or she'd have them go dance in the crowd. Always encouraging them to "perform", especially when cameras were trained on them. But once people put their cameras/phones away, they went back to being completely zoned out. 

Your post and this video of Sophia made me think of them. Sophia's personality is a total mimic of her mother. It's a mask. But who is she when she takes it off? Anyone? Just an empty shell? It's very sad.
