Both of those women actually had jobs that required leaving their couches and practiced, & worked hard to hone their craft (Marilyn may never have been a lauded actress, but she nonetheless took acting lessons for years). Marilyn was raised in foster homes and basically forced into marriage as a teen so someone would support her, yet she made something of herself by using what she had going for her & hard work. She never had children, but had several miscarriages. Her mother was very mentally ill & couldn't raise her, which had huge effect on Marilyn's life as well as her own inability to be a mother herself. I'm sure Marilyn would be disgusted by how little Amber has to do with her own children given Marilyn's upbringing. Neither Marilyn nor Mae West were ever charged with domestic abuse against their partner with a small child watching. Mae West went to jail for violating decency codes for a play she was in. She went to jail for a few days because she was willing to take that risk to make a point about the antiquated social mores of the era & draw attention to taboo topics via acting. Amber went to gel due to abusing her children's fathers while the children were around. She wishes she was 1/10th of the woman Mae West was and I bet she can't even name three songs Marilyn recorded or any of her movies besides "Some Like It Hot" & "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." Amber says she and Andrew Glennon had a custody agreement in place which allotted her parenting time with their 1-year-old son, James, during Christmas ... but she claims he bolted out of state with the boy without proper notice. According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Amber says the next shock came when Andrew hit her up on Xmas Day to say James was "nipped" by a family dog and had to go to the ER. She claims Andrew waited 3 days after that to send her a photo of the injury, and never shared info about James' initial ER visit. In the docs, she says the photo showed James had a black eye and a bandaged nose, "indicating that the injury was more than a 'nip.'" According to the docs, Portwood is also steamed over Glennon posting a photo of their son on Instagram on New Year's Eve, which she says they agreed was not allowed. She wants her ex held in contempt of court for allegedly violating the custody agreement. Amber's also demanding more parenting time -- to make up for what she lost over Christmas -- and wants Andrew to cover all her legal expenses. Andrew is a victim of domestic violence but he's also a spiteful bastard. He did violate the custody agreement by posting the picture of James to Instagram and taking James out of state without telling Amber. It could have been taken before NYE because Andrew was drunk posting pictures of James on NYE which violates their agreement. The next day he deleted everything including the posts threatening MTV and blamed the posts on someone who took "liberties" with his account. I can't get past the rehoming of the dog to a "loving single rancher on a large estate." This is basically the same as parents telling a child that their 14-year old dog, who is mysteriously absent, has been given to a nice family with a farm upstate. We all know what that means. A plastic surgeon would have been called. My bulldog nipped me in the face and the first thingthe ER did was try to bribg in a plastic surgeon. First thing my dr. said was the same.
