As I said in a thread a few weeks ago, I figured the reason Bethenny would be ganged up on was because all of the ladies were pissed after seeing her THs throughout the season. Ramona's shape tonight is the reason I stopped wearing Spanx.  Yes, they compress, but they just push everything in, giving you no shape at all.  They give her a blocky figure.  She has a bit of menopause tummy, which, come on, she's over 60, so of course.  But the Spanx and the form-fit dress enhance the meno-tummy.

In the real world, stack her up against any 60-something woman, and she looks amazing.  These NYHW's save all their calories for drinking, so they stay super skinny, and she just looks a bit larger than they do.  It's like how earlier, Dorinda was called "fat", and even Dorinda herself referred to herself as "large" in this reunion.  But in any city in America, she's thinner than 90% of women in her age range.

Andy shot a look at Carol when her phone went off, and I paused it.  It was a look that said he was done with her.  Very scolding.  I don't blame him, I mean come on, they were filming, and he was in the middle of a heartfelt speech about Bobby's passing, and non-self aware Carol forgot to switch her phone off.  Why did she need her phone there anyway?

I find Bethennys talking heads hilarious.  She gets her snark in with wit and humor.  Look at her imitating Ramona drinking with the straw and red scarf guy.  She’s a natural comedian.  The others are just plain vicious.  There’s a difference in the deliveries.

It was obvious that at least Carole,Dorinda and Ramona had pregamed their intent to go after Bethenny...they all basically chimed in listing the "wrongs" whenever one got started with their particular issue. At one point when Ramona was going off on Bethenny there was a shot of Dorinda and she looked to be mouthing what her next pile on line was going to be...it was weird.

While it was annoying watching and listening to the over screeching of grievances....i found Dorinda's ass kissing  of Carole extra obnixious...she practically petted her arm and heaped thanks on her at ever opportunity..yuck.

Carole was just miserable on all counts.

It wasn't fun or engaging to watch.

watched a little of the replay - forgot to mention when they discussed Bobby's funeral... Dorinda being all self-righteous about not wanting to be filmed at the funeral and yet she agreed, along with Ramona, to be filmed on the way to the funeral (or so as to appear that they were on the way to the funeral). Laughable. The hypocrisy... Dream Team should have been the Hypocrisy Team... Thirst is real.... I actually appreciated Andy corroborating that Bravo wanted to get it on film and that Jill wanted Bravo there (however we personally feel about cameras at such an event - Jill could have shut that down and she didn't. Period. Done.)

I agree. And how odd, that frequently during the season Carole brought up her distaste for "toxic energy" and "toxic behavior" and yet there she was at the reunion, being toxic. She didn't need to insert herself in anything that had nothing to do with her and yet she did. She should take notes from Tins. Hey - I get it, part of why the show is successful is the drama but there is a time and place to "bring it".  And for someone who allegedly hates toxicity, she should have kept her yap shut until she was asked her opinion on something that had nothing to do with her. I also noticed her scoffing at BF bringing up the "bridge" incident with Ramona, mumbling under her breath "that was 10 years ago..." so what Carole - it was part of BF and RS's ongoing hot-cold relationship - and had nothing to do with you or the other member of your "dream team", Dorinda... so just shush...

They are all cutting about each other  in their THs. Even Sonja about Bethenny a time or two. They don't like the extra attention  she gets, but they crave her friendship,  for the extra camera time.They miscalculated. Dorinda, Carole and Ramona end up looking waaaaay worse in this and Bethenny is holding her own.

Carole isn't even part of the show anymore. Whether she quit or was fired, though, based on her interactions with Andy, it was fired, she's gone. And now Ramona and Dorinda are left twisting in the wind.

They weren't on the way to the funeral. The clothes they were wearing were different from the pap shots. I actually agree with Dorinda about avoiding the cameras at the funeral. I would have done the same thing. Having Bravo film at (and agreeing to be filmed at) a funeral just seems ghoulish to me. Not the time or the place.

Exactly this! She is not allowed to talk shit about everyone else all season long without the other ladies being able to hold her feet to the fire over it. That is what reunions are for.

Now, they should not have been speaking all over each other. Maybe they need some King of the Hill style spirit sticks. If they interrupt, Andy gets to take a bite. Once they're gone, they don't get to speak for 15 minutes.

This reunion was really great motivation for me to head to the salon and get my naturally blonde hair darkened. So much bleach on those couches. I'm booking an appointment.

I wish these women were smarter. If you're going to coordinate a gang up on a quick-witted opponent on national television, you need to not come out so hard so quickly. You need to let it build. Set some traps and let her walk herself right into them. You can't play aggressive offense with her, because she wrote that particular playbook, ladies. You need to play to your own strengths. Not hers. Very dumb and they all looked so desperate and I can't imagine they aren't regretting some of that. 

Poor Carole. Sitting right next to Andy, involved in the main fight with the star of the show, slinging her own poop all season on her blog and Twitter, and yet she is still playing second fiddle to Ramona and Dorinda the entire hour and could barely muster up more than some sad asides. Again, play to your strengths. You're not an alpha, Carole. Sorry.

Are these women seriously comparing ANY of their drinking to Dorinda's? Is it so important to score points against Bethenny that they are willing to pretend that Dorinda doesn't have a major drinking problem? Really irresponsible and transparent. None of it is funny. The woman needs help. I had to laugh at her being so offended at the idea that she drinks in the AM as I've mentioned here meeting someone who works on her house in the Berkshires and his only comment about her was that she was a really nice, great lady but that she starts the day with a drink every single day. I hope someone loves her enough to not lie to her.

And I didn't see Andy being especially kind to Bethenny as he did continue to ask the question of whether or not she thought Dorinda is a drunk. However Andy is definitely over Carole. As am I. I replayed that multiple times and probably laughed like a fool. Here’s Ramona ramping up one of her clearly rehearsed talking points, with the rest of the “dream team” ready to chime in, and Andy shut her down hard. And when she tried to recover her moment by then emphasizing that Bethenny jumped out of the car to hug a Jill in front of the cameras, thus opportunistic, Andy again shut her down by saying he was glad that happened on camera because HE wanted to see it. She and the rest were all caught and completely wrong-footed. Dorinda insisting, so self-righteously, she would never want to be on camera at a funeral? Well clearly no one asked her.

I certainly wouldn’t want to be on camera at a funeraleither,  but that was Jill’s choice. She certainly knew the cameras were there when she and Bethenny had their moment.

Given the history of the ratings.  Thanks Mozelle.  The show's so called star isn't because of ratings but rather than because of TPTB seem to be as far up her behind as humanly possible.  Yeah, it's a lot easier when the moderator/host is totally intent on showing his favoritism.  And it's obviously how much frustration there is because the favoritism is so obvious.  And gosh, Beth's voice is so grating.

Carole doesn't need Andy or Beth or Bravo. Beth and Andy need to cling to each other. That's where the venom comes from - the knowledge that she can walk with no consequences but their fortunes are tied to the show.

In terms of overall looks, I thought Bethenny and Carole looked the best but I liked Sonja's dress the best...mainly because it's the only one I would wear myself, lol. Sonja and Dorinda's hairstyles weren't that great for me though.

Bobby's funeral - Jill wanted the cameras there but none of them called out their widow friend for being opportunistic. Bethenny wanted to go to the funeral and wasn't bothered by the cameras that Jill had requested so what was she supposed to do? Refuse to go to the funeral? She managed to go to to lunch with Jill without the cameras around. She has kept in touch with Jill and given their history, why do you care how fast their relationship is progressing? Maintaining any kind of contact with Jill since the funeral is more of an example of Bethenny having had some kind of sincere interest in being there at that funeral than it does suggesting that she was being purely opportunistic. 

Ramona - There are so many examples of Ramona saying nasty things to Bethenny and behind Bethenny's back and yet she sat there and denied ever being nasty to Bethenny. At least Bethenny admitted to being a bitch to Ramona. Both of them have been wrong to each other and have instances between them both where they hadn't supported each other. Ramona claiming that Bethenny doesn't support women then they show montages of Bethenny showing them support and then all of them saying that Bethenny has been a source of support (and saying that they all have had their moments of being a support system)...which is completely contradicting to everything that Ramona was claiming, lol. 

Dorinda - She told you that you saved Christmas...how is that not being gracious and thankful? Dorinda taking such exception to this and admitting Bethenny's thankfulness off camera suggests that Dorinda's real issue is that she did something nice and wanted Bethenny to publicly fawn over her. If you're upset that she didn't glorify you on camera the way you expected and instead gave more attention to the guy who ACTUALLY found the item (compared to you simply passing along his contact information), then it seems that you were no more gracious in your intentions of helping in the first place. Call it a wash then because I can't honestly sit here and feel any kind of sorry for you bitching over that. Not surprised that everyone who had some kind of issue with Bethenny was also in her ear egging her on about how she wasn't actually thanked. For self-proclaimed intelligent women, the fact that you think thankfulness can only be demonstrated by the words 'thank you' is pretty simple minded. 

Carole - I guess it was constructive and okay when you made an entire season about Jules and what her eating habits were. Slow clap for you, hypocrite. You don't get to act like a moral soldier when you have had your fair of being a bitch and some of those moments were when you were running around as Bethenny's bestie. There's nothing she has yet to accuse Bethenny of that Carole hasn't done herself and the fact that next week she's going to vehemently deny that she ever bashed Bethenny on the show is hilarious. Bethenny can be downright nasty and vile but unlike Carole or Ramona, she can at least admit she's essentially being shitty to someone else. 

Dorinda pointing out that everyone gets drunk is not a defense for how you get drunk and often you get drunk. They all forget that almost all of them I think were involved in Sonja's intervention where they raised the issue of her having issues with alcohol. Why the hell do they think Sonja has been prancing around the past two seasons always talking about being on an alcohol cleanse or drinking less? Come the fuck on. 

To sum it all up, they are ALL bullshitters and hypocrites and taking issue with one another exposes those things but it seems far less sinister and annoying when they're all engaging and not ganging up on just one person. It's like a gang of idiots cornering one idiot to let them know they're stupid...while not realizing the irony in any of it. That's exactly why for every accusation they threw at Bethenny, she was able to come at every single one of them for doing the exact same thing to her, forget using examples of how they may have treated one another in the past. Backtracking a bit, I will say that Tinsley is the only person who can hold some moral superiority over these women because she has more or less avoided the horrible grievances these other women have to their name. And you know how she does it? She keeps her mouth shut unless she's involved...hence why she was pretty non-existent in this part 1, haha.

Look how calmly Bethenny reacted when she threw that back at her. “I’m sure.” B has never become vicious when she drinks; she gets naked and cries with Ramona. I’m over Dorinda laughing it off and saying she’s entertaining us. Her tirades are not entertaining.

Bethenny held her own like the HBIC that she is. Ramona was screaming and s******, Slurinda was shouting and throwing her arms around, and Carole was bitter and sniveling.

Sonja's not a screamer, so I never expect her to get involved in these fights at reunions. Tinsley is a screecher but naturally very diplomatic. Neither one will be able to get a word in edgewise with these shrieking harpies.

I spent most of the hour reading the closed captioning. What utter chaos.

I am not usually a fan of Bethenny, but Carole and Dorinda are coming across as bitter hags. I like how Bethenny is just keeping her composure, while you can see Carole and Dorinda getting so worked up. I am SO happy Carole has been booted off the show. Dorinda needs to be next. She is nasty and mean.

If Bethenny returns next season (and I think she will and she'll negotiate a huge salary increase to do so), she will find herself in another season-long feud with Dorinda and Ramona. She and Lu and Sonja will just freeze them out as much as humanly possible, though. Tinsley is a non-entity and brings nothing to the show, really... she should go to Friend status if she's asked back at all.

I go back and forth on her. The women on the show definitel need a Switzerland and other than her stalkerish desperate Scott antics, I find her light hearted to watch. I hope she stays.

I remembered in time to set the DVR but so far while I’m enjoying your conversation here, like someone said (I’m paraphrasing), “I could just go to a family dinner and hear this kind of screaming.”   At least at family dinner I get some really good food.

I get what you're saying. I don't particularly view Tinsley as much of a Switzerland -- I associate her too much with Carole. She and Sonja have a past, she made ignorant remarks about Luann in that van ride back to the house in Colombia, and I don't think Bethenny even likes her. ::shrug::
