He was probably a nice enough guy that doesn't look like a total  troll (but he's another on this show that has his mom's exact face).  He had a nice job and was able to provide a cushy lifestyle.  Pao set out to change him and change him she did with the power of sex.  Now he's a spineless mean girl , just like her, and had to give up his field and take a pay cut.  And he has gross hair.  So, I would be on his side before hers but they have morphed into the same person.  In a fight with Juan, he would win - he would punch Juan out while Juan slapped him repeatedly and pulled his hair.
