They are both terrible friends to each other. I could understand if Kristin mentioned it ONCE at the beginning of the season about being disappointed in what happened with Kelly and moved on. But she finds new people to whine about and bash Kelly in every single episode. She is using her platform to get back at Kelly. Soon she will run out of friends to tell and I wouldn't be surprised if she went up to strangers on the street to whine about Kelly and keep at it until she finds just the right jaw dropping horrible expression she is hoping for so she could say "I know, right!!!". I wouldn't be surprised if it is all fake and they "make up" next season or keep dragging it out.

Kelly and Kristin had a great relationship and both of them are guilty of being shitty too each other. I think Kristin is just hurt because she loves her. Kelly used that rumor to get attention and that really hurt Kristin.

Given the cast turnover, I'm starting to think the best use of Jay and Kristin's old house would be to move all past and present regulars in there and convert to a Big Brother format where we see them squabble, hook up, and vote each other out on a regular basis. Same net effect, but more entertaining. We know the Kristin's Favorite People alliance is a given, but maybe disgruntled UJ employees could mount a successful counterattack, especially once Kelly defects. Jay can host the in-house competitions; Kristin obviously plays the Julie Chen role. ("Couldn't get along with these people, huh? Do you see now how you wronged me?")

Most importantly, though, these people would all be quarantined from the rest of us for the duration, and that's a win for the world.

Kristen seems to go through “friends” and employees like Kleenex. I’m thinking there’s an obvious pattern here. Not that I don’t side with her on the Kelly thing, but I also don’t doubt that Kristen’s usually a shitty excuse of a friend as well, considering how she only seems to know how to talk about herself and her own life.
Speaking of shitty friends, that was rather pathetic that she and Heidi and Adrianna(aka Ceiling Eyes) were sitting there still bashing Lauren after all these years. I don’t blame Lauren one but for focusing on her career and choosing to step away from reality show fame and aimless losers like those broads. And how quickly Kristen forgets how many times she and Tweedle-Dumb/Tweedle-Dumber repeatedly wronged Lauren.

I do think that most likely Kristen is more in the right on the Kelly thing, but that said I agree with you that she does have trouble with relationships.  I know nothing about Lauren and all of the girls from those shows, but when they were talking about her, esp where Heidi was concerned, I was pretty sure that Lauren was most likely not the only one in the wrong there.  I could just imagine they all played a role in some of that drama.

Having watched Laguna Beach and some of the Hills until the later seasons, I will say Kristen admitted that the producers of LB wanted her to be "the bitch" and really play that role up. She was only 16 or 17 at the time. She also said that hers and Steven Colletti's relationship was very real and that again the producers forced Lauren/LC into the mix as way of manufacturing the drama. And Kristen hated that, therefore wasn't a fan of Lauren. I know she willingly signed on to LB, but not so sure in the beginning she had a clue as to how badly she would come across. I think eventually she just went with it and maybe went a little overboard. And as far as the Hills goes, I've always liked Audrina and thought she never seemed phony. Heidi on the other hand, was fine in the beginning, but once her and Spencer got major screen time and notoriety for their antics, I think they thrived on the publicity, whether good or bad. So they didn't care if Lauren liked them or not. Kristen again was brought on in the latter part of that show to drum up drama and be "the bitch" but she was older and fully complicit in playing that part. I didn't watch many of the Kristen episodes, just a few when her and Audrina were "allegedly" fighting over Justin Bobby. And we all know that was big time fake, they even admitted it on Very Cavallari this latest episode.

I agree about Kelly. I thought she was a famewhore last season and always aware of the cameras. But at this point, Kristen needs to stop talking about her ON CAMERA because it doesn't make Kristen look good by going on and on about it. Just let it go and move on.

And on a different note...I love Scoot. He's so adorable and his family was all kinds of sweet.

Ah, the good old days of LB. it’s interesting, you can almost follow the evolution of reality TV through LB, the Hills, and now this dretch.

I also remember Kristen giving an interview way back when LB was on about how they cast for the show. The producers came to the school and interviewed all the kids, Kristen says they asked her if she disliked anyone in particular and said “LC”. She thinks this is why she got cast. Apparently they already knew they were going to have LC on as the popular one, so they wanted Kristen for the antagonism. But I believe those kids were pretty genuine and honest on that show. They got into some real fights and had genuine relationships.

i couldn’t watch the Hills once Heidi and Spencer took over. They just seemed like awful human beings, and it sounds like nothing much has changed. Surprised Spencer has a podcast that’s so popular and that people like him now, because he was such a greasy slime ball on that show.

Gave up on this show after last season, but it sounds like maybe it got better? Last year was so dysfunctional, and Kristen was so lame and lazy, it was hard to watch. But, if they got rid of her incompetent staff and now show a functional work environment then maybe it’s worth catching up on.

The show is 100 times better, imo.  Her company looks organized and successful--you would never know that she hired the nitwits she did in the past.  I think she probably saw that though it was good drama for the show, the show was probably starting to impact her business negatively.  So this season is a complete turn around.  The only parts of the business she deals with on the show are her dealings and activities now, not the staff, except for the one that has been there since the beginning (I am forgetting her name)--but she hasn't ever been an issue.

She spends most of her time with Jay, and the guy friend that came on the show this season.  So it has much less drama, and for me, I enjoy watching it.  I had planned on not watching this season as I couldn't take any more stupidity, but watched the first episode and saw the differences.

Not seeing this at all.  Are you watching the show? Justin, Pip, Biegs have all been close friends of Kristin's for 10+ years. She also gets back together with her friends in LA often, some of them, like Britney Field, date back to high school.

Kelly was in that circle. She & Kristin had been friends since Kristin moved to Nashville.  Probably one of her closest friends because of that proximity so I understand why Kristin is hurt by the fallout.  Watching how poorly Kelly handled it on camera, leads me to believe she's said worse off.  Maybe she thought the show would make her a star?  Who knows, I certainly don't miss her.

In terms of employees, no surprise there, especially with a growing company in the retail industry.  Besides, I think that drama was what the show originally designed to be based around.  It's proved far less interesting than than the lives of Kristin & Jay.

Brittany shouldn't be with anyone right now.  She just came out of a long-term relationship which she's definitely not over, and this PJ guy shouldn't be a rebound.  He doesn't seem to have the patience to be with someone who is in Britt's position.  I don't know how much she's really been talking about him because you only get to see a few minutes, but this is not the time to be in another serious relationship.  Just be alone for awhile in that nice apartment.

Don't bother talking to PJ or another guy about Stone.  Talk to your girlfriends instead, especially the ones who have known you for the duration of that relationship.  I was actually getting annoyed with PJ and he seemed almost aggressive about it.  I mean, I understand his position as well, but it really showed that the timing is not right for either of them.

Stone definitely called her up to screw her up.  He used the dog as an excuse to call her and knew that she would be thinking about him.  What a shithead.  Can't believe that there are women who are willing to date such a loser!

I agree she shouldn't be in a relationship so soon, but I don't think PJ was out of line.  I am pretty sure she is probably talking about her ex a lot as she pretty much admitted it to some degree.  I think what really frustrated him was when she said the part about him changing things in the apartment and being the guy she wanted now--  I mean, we all know what she was saying but that doesn't sound good to a new boyfriend.  Kind of shows a lot of feelings leftover and that she might still be interested.  It is the kind of thing you share with friends, not boyfriend.  So I don't blame him one bit.

Huh. Looks like Brittainy's being teed up as the next cast member to disappear between seasons. I mean, I'd be kind of surprised if it happened, but Kristin was certainly building up the pretense to show her the door. Plus it's tradition, somebody has to get voted off the island.

OTOH, if that means Stone never darkens our screens again, that's an upside.

Kristin’s dad needs her attention and time. Losing a child is so difficult. He isolates himself while he should be visiting his grandkids. Her mother seems to be happy and taking on each new day.

Yay! No mention of Kelly 👍. At least I didn’t realize it. Moving on and upward, I am interested in the Cavallari family in Italy.

Jay is very in his element camping and seems to be happy. I love his relationship with Kristin and he does have a positive impact on her.  Kristin seems content and I get her on the mom guilt! She is taking in money that will be beneficial to herself and her family in the long run. Hope she doesn’t sell the business prematurely, she is kicking butt.

Justin and Scoot her cute together and I hope they get married!

I have to say I agree with @Sun-Bun I don’t see true friendships.  Maybe Biegs.  Justin was just a buddy who she met because he did her hair.  These people seem very surface friends. I don’t see her getting close to people.

Heidi and Audrina just want more tv time.  They are co-workers, not friends.

Her employees are not her friends.  And why should she expect the workers to care about her company and her brand as much as she does??  Do they get to share the profits?  She should have realized long ago that when you own your own business, no one cares about your company making YOU tons of money except for YOU.  And your spouse, and kids.

ETA I used to be Kristin’s biggest fan in her LB days.  I kind of can’t stand her now.  Also I think she doesn’t really like Jay, she seems always annoyed with him.

Justin is that friend that would move to be close to a best friend not his client. A FRIEND Kristin would let live in her spare home. The friend that spends holidays and vacations with you.  They are very much friends! Love Kristin❤️

I see my hair stylist every 8-10 weeks and we chat about bad reality TV (like this show).  We don't hang out and travel together or stay at each other's houses.  Justin's the co-founder of dpHUE and his clients include Jennifer Aniston & Gwyneth Paltrow. He doesn't need Kristin.

Biegs is someone Kristin met in Chicago.  They've been friends over 10 years.  Biegs is a career Marketeer/brand specialist and Kristin would love for her to move to Nashville and work for Uncommon James but that hasn't happened  ttps://www.linkedin.com/in/slbiegel

Same with Pip.  They met in in LA, 10+ years ago. Her career is in video production https://www.linkedin.com/in/philippa-whitfield-pomeranz-671a056

None of these people are hanging out with Kristin to be on TV.  They all have successful careers in other cities.  They hang out with Kristin and agree to be on the show because THEY'RE HER FRIENDS. Get that people dislike Kristin but to say she lacks close friends is a little over the top.

Jay dropping his phone in the river was the best.  Good job, Camp Leader.

None of them put him on tv.  Agree to disagree but I just don’t see a close friendship.  Maybe they will get there eventually but I see surface friendship, with weird nervous laughter, they are too polite to be close if you know what I mean.

I see a more of a relaxed, close friendship with Biegs.  She’s the closest to a close friend I see.

Kristin needs to stop with that nervous laugh after every single thing she says.  I think she believes it’s endearing, but it’s not it’s so annoying.  I inexplicably used to do it too and I have stoped after seeing her do it on the show.

God YES!!! It’s like this huge wheeze she guffaws out repeatedly and it’s so fake and overdone. It’s like she’s thinking to herself as she wheezes it out, “I’m such a silly and relatable goofball, y’all!” But it comes off like an awkwardly nervous habit that refuses to die.

Right? With UJ doing so visibly well, you'd think Kristin could've sprung for her dad to go with her on this family history odyssey. It being so meaningful for their relationship and everything.

I'd like to imagine that this trip was basically for show purposes, and maybe there'll be a second one with her dad and kids and no cameras. But maybe I'm being generous.

We didn't get a lot of time with them, but I was utterly charmed by Fabio the genealogist and Kristin's cousin Gabriella. I'd totally watch a show featuring those Cavallaris instead. Especially if it involved them defending a medieval Italian town against drunk Americans and eating gee-lah-to.

Kristin more than likely invited her father. Her father is stuck in grief and doesn’t get much from life. Life is passing him by and if he wanted to go, Kristin would have definitely taken him. I believe Kristin is trying to get the family together and hoping her father will want to be a part of it.

Very sad seeing her brother and how close the Cavallari family once was and how death can disrupt the living. Kristin needs her father and is trying to get his family in Italy involved to hopefully help all of them find some joy in family.

My belief is Kristin’s intentions are pure and she is soul searching and wants her family to be connected.

I enjoyed the Italy episode with family but wish her dad had gone with them.  Hopefully, one day he will.

Brittney bugs me and always has.  Not entirely sure why, to be honest.  Clearly, at the time of filming, she hadn’t moved on from her former boyfriend.  Way too early to become involved with the new guy.  Anybody know if she’s still with him today?

I am liking Jay Cutler much more this season.  Decent guy.

What annoys me is how she keeps saying that her new boyfriend signed on to the issue of having to hear her talk about her ex all of the time (because they broke up recently and he knows that).  Really?  He couldn't have thought that you would realize as a new boyfriend he doesn't want to hear about the old one?  It is really annoying how she acts like this is okay and normal.

I wasn't sure if this was part of the show, because, I've only seen portions.  But, it's so risky for the kids....makes me really question her intelligence and judgment.  I liked her on LB and TH.  Not so much now.  She seems a shadow of her former self.

They are all getting a little long in the tooth to be acting like that on vacation. Public drunkenness is never a good look especially after 25 or so. The flirting with the wait staff the hair guy was doing was so painful to watch especially if you've ever worked service jobs. The fact he couldn't remember what had happened is not good in my book and I hang out with people who like to party a bit.

I like Jay and Kristen scenes together the best. He adds a little depth to her.

I kind of gave up on this show but I watched a few episodes in a row and it was a nice distraction from the news.

Felt so sorry for Scoot he is ready to settle down and had to witness his man in action while he is drunk. How will he trust him drinking when he acts desperate to get w/ another? Scoot is wayyy better looking are you kidding me making a fuss over that waiter!!

Kristin & Jay are cool and I like their relationship. I believe they are good parents and conquer and divide the day activities. Don’t agree w/ not vaccinating kids then sending them to school. Not many pedestrians would be on board w/ that.

Guess that is the end of Kelly and Kristin. Thought they would reconcile on the finale. Excited Kristin to be featured on The Hills😀

Kristin and her favorite people always remind me of the maxim that if you and your friends get shit-faced together on a regular basis, maybe it's time to find some people you can tolerate while sober.

It finally occurred to me to look up Justin and Scoot's ages. Justin's 38, Scoot's only 24. How did Scoot end up being the more mature one?

Kristin’s Chicago UJ store looked incredible and she had quite the showing of ppl to support her new store. Brittany was wise to wait until after the store opened to let Kristin know she was questioning her future at UJ. Seems like a great job and Kristin doesn’t want Brittany to leave.  I kinda think Brittany will end up staying she is just in a funk.

After a death or a break up, do NOT buy a house and do NOT quit your job.  I know that death and breakup are two of the defining moments in your life, and yes, I've heard of people quitting their jobs after the above two events, but that is not the time to do it.  At the very least, keep your job, because it will provide stability and income.  Can't afford to not be working!  As well as being a manager at the store, she's also getting money from the show, so unless she doesn't want to be in the public eye anymore, she should keep working there.

Agreed, and she appeared genuinely moved by the outpouring of support.  Don't remember ever seeing her that emotional.  The store does look amazing.

Still don't care much about Brittany and her break-up.

The events of the past week must be weighing on me emotionally because I was huge sap and cried through Justin's proposal.

Agreed.  I don't know why she can't see that of course you are going to feel off after a breakup, and for most people the last thing you want to do is put yourself in a risky situation.  We all know if she took a new job she would be overwhelmed and most likely fired for not performing up to standards--at least K is aware of her situation and is trying to help her through it.  Then make decisions, when you are back on top again.

It was pretty impressive to see how big this new store was for her.  I think the reality of all if it caught up with her--whereas with one store she was just beginning and figuring things out.  Now she has more of a rhythm and her business can keep growing.  We all know she has at least come a long way on the show--when it started she had a few non-functioning employees full of drama and now she seems to have moved past that and have real staff.

I am still a bit in awe over the whole relationship with Jay this season--they have really been quite the pair, and it is very sweet.  The proposal was very sweet too.

The first episode of season 3 was aired on Bravo the other night.  But I don't see the second episode scheduled and Very Cavallari doesn't show up under their shows.  Wonder what that was about, some sort of test to see if Bravo viewers are interested? Are Bravo and E affiliated in any way?

^They must be.  Or Bravo bought the rights to air it.  Bravo showed a S2 marathon on a weekday last week or maybe the week before.  Working from home, they all run together now :)

There was an earlier discussion about the level of the friendship between Kristin & Justin. The families have been quarantined together in the Bahamas for 3+ weeks now, kids included.  Not something most people would do with an acquaintance or work colleague.

Kristin and her family are quarantined in Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas but how do you do that staying at a resort?  All of the people serving you food and handing out towels, etc are possible transmissions.  And there are cases of coronavirus there.

I just saw today on her Instagram that they were able to get a flight home. It looked like they were buying and preparing their own food while they were there so not sure how much interaction they had with staff.

Being in a beach house helps but they are still at a resort, and I did read on twitter that this was the only resort kept open and the people working there are so upset that they had to come to work every day, and were not able to stay home.  That is bullshit.

She claims they were stuck but I personally know people who were teaching in far flung, developing countries who were sent back to the US weeks ago. She and her crew probably didn't want to deal with the customs lines which were crowded and hellish a few weeks ago. She could have just thrown a "don't you know who I am" at anyone who got with in six feet, lol!

All I can say is UGGGGHHH...What a turn off.  What is wrong with these people?

I do think some of the social media posts were pretty tone deaf.

And yes, one of the articles I read said they could have left on the 23rd and chose not to do so. After that day, they were stuck, I think. But they did get warning. I mean, if they don't have to go home, I'll not fault them for choosing to remain where they were, but some of those posts they made strike me as in pretty poor taste.

You should read this Twitter feed with the comments on their disgustingly entitled behavior, taking an extended stay at their resort house In the islands:

As if we didn’t know Kristen and her crew were smug enough; talk about tone deaf. For the sake of being responsible parents/brand spokesmen, they *needed* to swoop everyone up and get home earlier. I know the weather here in Nashville sucked around that time in mid-March, but those beaches/pools down there were all likely closed anyway, so what was even the point of staying?
Then they waited until the last possible moment to scoop up their unvaccinated kids and her captive hair stylist from a resort forcing its scared staff to still deal with them all, moved them all through a hotbed of potential COVID cooties a few days ago via the airports/planes, and finally got their asses home.

Things that make you go UGH!!!

Yeah, I'm done with Kristin and the show. This whole saga was in poor taste and showed poor judgement, which, considering her stance on vaccines, shouldn't have been too surprising coming from her. I loved her on Laguna Beach, but the way she conducts herself on the show and with her business is a big giant no for me. I should have stanned Lauren, who stays in her lane and isn't an idiot.

Undoubtedly if they do get the vaccine, they will keep quiet about it because of the backlash and not wanting to lose their anti-vaccine cred.

I do enjoy reading everyone's comments on episodes, though, so I'll rely on all of you to keep me posted on the show.

I watched for the first time in a long time, and never was an avid viewer.I was just so intrigued that she has her own reality show. I find her speech pattern and her voice soooooooannoying and difficult to listen to. Her husband seems like such a good guy.

I did get a kick out of her talking about going to Chicago for the opening and to see her mom-- you know like everyone does...........and yeah why would you bring your kids? Yes I heard her explain that they will be in and out and NEXT time she'll bring them, but it just struck me as quite privileged so to speak
