Becca's face.  When she's listening to a man talk, her face loses every single speck of animation, whether he's telling her his dog died or he loves sailing, it's the same face and it always makes me think she's in shock and about to go off in a burst of angry flames.  But then she just says something like,  "Oh, fine that's cool. "  When most people are listening to another's story they usually, nod, cock their head sideways to ask for more clarity, smile or make a sad sympathy-mouth as the moment calls for.  Becca does none of this and it bothers me.

Yes!

I wonder if it is because she knows 100% who she wants and the rest are just cannon fodder and it's hard for her to feign interest or she is disillusioned by the process and while they are talking she is reviewing where she went so horribly wrong in her life that she ended up here, choosing between Ken Doll, the Two Month Groom, a T-Bird from Grease and that other one.

I don't think it's because she knows who she wants, because we've seen her doing it with all 4, which would presumably include the one she wants.  I def think she is thinking of other things, specifically, how she can turn the conversation back around to herself.  But I like Mabinogia's scenario too!

Kaitlyn had an entire night having sex with Nick LONG before the fantasy suites happened.  Multiple leads have commented over the years that they get private time with their "dates" when they ask for it.

ok, maybe Becca could have asked for "private time."(sex)  but I doubt that the guys asking for private conversation time would be granted.  if it was as easy as some think, none of these tough conversations (m ex-wife was abusive, my mom cheated, im a virgin, some guys here are lying, etc) would take place on the show, as they would all be  during "private time."

this is, bottom line, a TV show.  If revealing, dramatic conversations can take place without cameras present, then there would be no point to the show.  They can't actually show people having sex, but they are very invested in these intimate, revealing conversations being on the air.   It's what they thrive one.  Again, see Arie breaking up with Becca on camera.

But most of those conversations wouldn't take place during private time, because they are part-and-parcel of the show's MO (other guys are lying, I'm a virgin, throw shade at an ex) and given that you probably can't predict when you'd get private time, then if you have something fairly show-standard to say, you'd want to take advantage of the "public time" that you do get.  The mom cheated thing might be a candidate for private time.  I don't think any of us are saying that private time is 'easy' to get; but it is definitely do-able, and probably for the contestants as well as the star.  Heck, they can't wear their mic packs in the water, right?, so there's a time to talk privately.

That's very true. I was reading a recap, might have been Vulture, can't remember, but they talked about Becca's inner rage or something, like she seems like at any moment she's going to snap and kill them all. This reminded me of that.

I wish Chris Harrison had responded to Becca having never been to the Bahamas by saying "really?" Followed by him getting up and walking away to compose himself.

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I don't see any of these guys being the next Bachelor.  So boring even if I like Jason. He just doesn't seem like Bachelor material.  My son said he looked like Draco Malfoy with black hair.   I bet they just bring someone popular from the past in.  Maybe even fucking Nick again.

Blake looks like a squished flat Scott Eastwood to me.  Like his nose is all squished flat and his head got squished in to make his ears pop out.  Buttoning all the way to the top?????  And Becca didn't walk out and ponder that personal choice?

Why did she leave the table because Colton is a virgin and why were the guys acting like it’s a dealbreaker? What’s the big deal? I literally don’t understand the problem. I find Colton more attractive now that I know he hasn’t been whoring around his whole life and he actually takes things seriously.

And did Becca really say “twitterpated”? Really? Honestly, she’s so irritating with her fake laughter and boring personality, I hope she chooses Garret because he’s my least favorite and they deserve each other.

Becca tweeted that she simply left the table to go to the bathroom, not because of what Colton said.  Unrelated conversation & actions, cut & pasted to make Becca look freaked out by the revelation.

The chatty guys made his virginity sound like a huge deal breaker because it was all they had to talk about, so they assumed it would be.  They had no clue how she would feel about it.

I love milk! And potatoes! We need a non-food comparison, like wet/dry paint.

I don't know what a waddle butt is, but it's funny anyway.

And Leo gets left alone on the deserted beach. He was toast as soon as he told Becca he needed more time if he was going to propose. That's the (Rachel's) Peter Principal kiss of death. Or bullet dodged in this case.

Becca: Saying good bye to Leo was really difficult.

Me: No it wasn't.

So I'm looking for a movie to watch on my Terrarium TV app and see a seedy movie titled High Heel Homicide made in 2017. I think to myself, I'm sure the acting is horrible with gratuitous sex scenes, a dumb storyline & script...but it might just make me laugh. So I watch it. Within the first 10 minutes, I see a familiar face. OMG! It's Leo the stunt man (who isn't doing stunts btw). Unless you consider having pretend cowgirl & doggystyle sex with the female lead character a stunt. Oh wait, he got stabbed, squealed a little, then fell to the floor! Does that count as a stunt? LOL. In case you were wondering, he still maintained his dark brooding stare all the while & his long lustrous locks was in a ponytail.

Hmm, my spidey sense began tingling so I looked up the movie cast & lo and behold, his real name is Leandro Dottavio aka Leo aka Rico Suave. Ok..I created the last alias. Anywho, according to IMDB, Leandro has only 9 stunt man credits but a whopping 21 acting credits. Now I'm wondering, why was he labelled as a Stunt Man instead of Actor or Entertainer?

Darnit, I've missed half the movie while playing detective. Oh well, it turned out to be exactly the type of movie I thought it would be. Soft porn with a dumb plot. Ho hum. Time to find an actual Comedy movie so I can have some real, enjoyable belly laughs. LOL

HOLY CATS Lacy4U! That's some juicy scoopage. As for his "occupation" on this show, stuntman doesn't sound as famewhorish as actor. And a bit cleaner than soft-porn star. Now I'm off to google Leandro Dottavio!

ETA: Yeah, this guy is a full-time wannabe actor. I hated his video clips. But his modeling pics, especially when he had short "regular" hair, are quite nice. I'd hire him for that.  But never to act. His acting is a big ugh.

My theory about Colton, whether he truly is a virgin or just playing one on TV, is he wants to be the next Bachelor and knows that his virginity will give him an advantage to being selected since there has never been a virgin Bachelor before. I'd much rather have Clay as the first African American Bachelor, but if Colton preserves his virginity through the rest of the season, I think they'll select him. I still think he's a phony.

Leo needs to chop that hair off because he looks way better without it!

Totally agree. I'm fine with long hair and like a man bun, but Leo is a hottie mchottie of all hotness with short hair. Wow zow, it makes a difference on him. I'd be all about him being the Bach if he got rid of the hair. He wouldn't even have to speak. In fact, I'd like him better if he didn't.

Based on the fact that Becca got rid of the guy with long hair and the African American, I don't believe she is as open minded as she thinks.

Being "open-minded" doesn't mean you marry someone who is a particular race or doesn't fit society's standard of what a man should look like (i.e. short hair).  It only means you are willing to consider the possibility of a relationship with someone who is very different from you.  She considered the idea and decided neither Leo nor Wills are right for her. She kept them around a lot longer than many of the generic contestants.

My thoughts on this episode:

1) I believe Colton is telling the truth about his virginity, but I don't believe he is attracted to Becca.  At best, he may like in a strictly platonic way.

2) Jason: he needs to open up more if he wants to win in the end.  I think he's attracted to Becca, but is more reserved than the other guys.  That could hurt him in the end.  The hometown date will reveal more about his chances

3) Garrett: I see Becca choosing him in the end.  Becca sees herself as Arie's victim and Garrett sees himself as a victim of his ex wife. He seems to genuinely like Becca.  Unless something goes horribly wrong during Hometowns, he should win in the end. (NOTE: I have not read any spoilers)

4) Blake: Blake is cute and he definitely likes Becca, but he's very immature for 28.  I understand that it's stressful towards the end, but pouting like a little boy is rather off putting.

I feel like he is telling the truth about being a virgin, because, as stated, it would be very easy for one of his few exes to call him out on it so it seems risky to lie about that but I am not buying his reason at all. It just doesn't make sense. He was too busy playing football? He's randomly waiting for the woman he loves, though he told at least one girlfriend he loved her, so...was he lying to her? I think there is something else going on and he doesn't want to say, which, fine, if he's struggling with sexuality, has erectile disfunction, really is built like a Ken Doll, whatever, he shouldn't have to tell the entire Bach Nation, but I do think Becca should be told if he's serious about dating her so I hope they have that talk if he makes it to the Sex Suite.

I don't know whether Colton is lying, but his football explanation is perfectly plausible. Football requires a lot of practice and dedication.  Some people get tunnel vision when they are working towards a goal and forget about everyone else or other facets of their life in the process.  Colton focused on building his career at the expense of his love life.  This is incredibly common.  I have a lot of doctor friends, for example, who didn't even get their first kiss until 30.  They are all now happily married to wonderful women.

Not every person has a goal of becoming the town bicycle (i.e. everyone get a ride). It seems like our society is so hyper sexual that we can't even entertain the possibility that a 26 year old man may actually want to have sex with a woman he actually cares about rather than having a series of one night stands. It is ok to be a virgin at any age.  Being a virgin at 26 doesn't necessarily mean he's gay, asexual, a serial killer, a man with childhood issues, etc. Being a virgin is not a big deal in my opinion. Unfortunately, for men, they feel pressured by society to lose their virginity when they are only in high school.  That's why Colton looked mortified to even admit this secret on TV.

Some of us find that important person early in life while others won't find them until they are older.  People should have sex when they feel the time is right and when they can be responsible for their choice regardless of whether they happen to be 20 or 60.  Consent, rather than age, is really the important thing.
