I wish Dayton would come back next year. I know she says no. I just watched the latest episode. Fitness wise, she looks better than last year and even better than tryouts. She looks good when shes in the moment. Lily looked better before her makeover. Bridget is my new favorite.

Oh and Victoria reminds me of pigeon toed Emily. Not a lover or hater of her just not a huge fan.

Yeah - so far out of Lindsay we’ve seen her looking drop dead gorgeous in all scenes, having an absolutely perfect figure (tone, tiny, well proportioned, etc.), dancing powerfully and w/ great technique, and kicking to her nose.  Think there even was footage of her doing a great jump split.  Oh, and she’s a nurse...so smart and accomplished.   Can’t imagine how she got cut so soon into camp from what has been shown so far - what on earth could be the reason?  Did she manage to sleep w/ a player one night after TC or something and TMZ caught it on film?  Lol!

So what if they read it?  Both Judy and Kelli were dancers/DCC and know (or ought to know) how to take criticism, sift through it and decide what's worth keeping.  My only problem would be if they dismiss the valid criticism as not worth keeping.

Tara had a speaking part in the swimsuit and then a few seconds with the camera focused on her this past week. I think we're gonna get some explanation, who knows if it's the full one.

And hey Judy! Glad you could join us, too bad you don't talk.

I remember being on the old CMT board and "Judy" joined the board to defend Cassie and talk about other stuff.  I don't remember if we decided if it was real or not.  But I do remember how some posters came on the board, were positive at first and then became negative.

I want to give Rachel a hug because she seems scared to me. Her manner of speaking, her posture, all of it screams lack of confidence. I loved the practice wear with Cowboys in crystal. It looked so sparkly and flattering.

I was not happy when Victoria interrupted Kelli. If I were Kelli, I would have said something.

You said exactly what I was thinking in regards to Dayton.  Every time I saw her in the background in the first four episodes she looked wonderful--high kicks nice figure beautiful hair good technique. They seemed to put together all the bad footage of her when she was looking confused in dances.  I'm guessing they have that kind of footage of most if not all of the girls from training camp. For example Cianna  definitely had several spots where she was doing the dance wrong or looking confused during Thursday nights episode, but they didn't focus in on her and give her a bad edit. 

 In regards to  rookie Rachel I don't think she's suffering from a lack of confidence. Any girl that has that much pageant experience and who looks like her have to know that she's beautiful. I just think number one she's getting a better edit and number two she's trying really hard not to come off like a diva. 

 Surprisingly I'm enjoying VK. I like her big personality. From what I've seen in pictures and videos it seems like veteran Rachel has a big personality like that also.

If they pull an “Erica” and don’t show Tara’s cut and further more exactly why she was cut, I’m officially done with this damn show.  Respect your viewers DCC and CMT.   We are the only reason the show keeps going.

I think it's interesting that you say this. I consider all reality TV mindless entertainment. Not sure what that says about me as I have watched the show since the beginning and I've always enjoyed it.  It's not really educational and I don't think I'm bettering myself by watching it. I just enjoy it because it's a nice break from the work that I do and the pressures of every day life.  I do become really interested in the girls and their story lines and I like rooting for some of the underdogs. So in that way I don't think it's a whole lot different from watching a favorite sports team.  I don't think the girls on the team care if I am watching the show or care what my opinion is about them.

Finally got to watch this past weeks episode, and a big THANK YOU for listening to our feedback. I love seeing the alumni. Courtney looked great. It was so good seeing that!! 

I still just don't see it in Tara. They have shown her some, so I think her cut will be addressed, the question is in what depth will it. I also see some very strong rookies.   I realize not everyone here agrees, but it seems like this is one of the strongest rookie classes they have had in a while.

And yeah, I know we make comments behind the scenes.  But this is a public forum in which to do so.  Not that I've personally liked some of the comments on here, but bottom line, that's what this is for - positive and negative.  For the most part we respect each other's opinion with out resorting to "cyberstalking" like @go4luca experienced on FB.  To go on someone's personal account and be so vicious - that's uncalled for.  Then when friends and family stick up for the person, the troll gets even nastier - a lot of times without provocation.  And of course, I still wish the girls would block the ones who make those creepy, sleazy comments.

My personal guess is that VK, and probably some others, crash dieted before tryouts, and now it's coming back.     Also, extreme dieting and dehydration might be another reason some looked to shaky at the first night of training camp.  Getting dehydrated in the Texas climate is a very bad thing, and can knock you right off your feet.

yes. ATL.. and yes to piggy back on poor Dayton's speeding 6 mph over , given our traffic issues, virtual is best. I kinda gave up being early in this town years, ago (the day I was late to church b/c of a accident that was taking too long to clear). I usually tell folks to give me at least 5 minutes grace... buses, trains, planes, cars, and probably on foot, regardless of weather, usually results in being late somewhere along the line. 

If that poor girl who drives 100 miles can't pay her way to be in the HOV lane, sad to say , there will be more dayS  she will be late.  I had a feeling K&J realize that too.

But change that "Thunderstruck" move that drops to the knees (I don't know the dance term) .. ummm that won't work for all DCC Seniors  :)

regarding having to sign into cmt's site with a tv provider, they also have the option to create a 24-hour viewing pass with just your e-mail. the link to start that viewing pass can be found under the "see all providers" button in the little message that pops up. ~however~ i've found that their system doesn't check if the e-mail entered is real or whatever so every 24 hours, when my viewing pass expires, i just clear my browser history, refresh the page, and enter a new (albeit fake and made up on the spot) e-mail address. this little trick has aided greatly in my rewatch of all the seasons this summer so i hope it helps all of y'all who also don't have a tv provider. :)

I agree. Tara had a back story last year so they can't just erase her like she didn't exist. They probably thought they could get away with not showing the cuts of Rebecca & Sintia (from a previous season) because they were just rookie TCCs  but we still noticed.

I love the posters on this forum!  Yes, we sometime post things that are snarky, outright mean, or argumentative, but more often we are insightful, intelligent, funny, and informative.  Importantly, we are rarely - if ever - hateful or bullies toward one another.  Y'all are quality people.  

I followed up on Courtney Cook through Google search, and I am happy to find out that she appears to have married well. That is an old-fashioned sentiment, I know, but her husband works for his family's construction company which does large, prominent commercial and instutional projects throughout Utah and the Southwest.  She seems like a sweet person and I wish her a happy future.

I’m on the verge of unjoining as well. I’m all for different points of view but the constant vicious personal attacks on a young girl they know nothing about beyond what the show allows is not worth my time. I didn't have to sign in. All I did was when they asked for my provider, I hit the DirecTV button and there was the show.

Have we seen any mention of Jasmine or Lindsay struggling in training camp? We know that they are the first 2 cuts, but I don’t recall anything about either girl. 

I feel like the editing has been a bit strange so far. Decisions are either coming out of left friend, or the editing isn’t doing a good job of providing scenes that show a coherent story. It was like that with Sarah and Alanna (spelling probably wrong), the 2 Laker girls. Based on the scenes we saw, Sarah clearly seemed to be the stronger candidate, but then Alanna made it to training camp, and she didn’t.  Now, 2 girls are about to get cut, and we haven’t really seen any background to support it. You would think Kristen and Dayton were the next cuts based on the editing. Just interesting.

I personally think that they have both been strong dancers. I've caught glimpses of Lindsay more than Jasmine, but from what I've seen, Lindsay is catching on to the dances and she looks good. Jasmine was mentioned by one of the vets as being powerful. 

I do not like the editing of Dayton at all. Others on here have said that all the closeups of her are when she's doing poorly, but in background shots, she is doing much better, and I agree.  I don't really get it. I'm not really seeing the appeal of Kristen so much, but I think she's a good dancer.
