I seriously think that Tinsley does not have a clue as to how old she is.  Hair style, apparel choices, behaviors - she has a severe case of arrested development.  She acts like a 18-22 year old - even to calling her mother over the "surprise visit".  As if that surprise was real.  NOT!!!

Sorry, but I don't think it was either funny or cute the way Dorinda was fooling around with the young guy that was almost asking LuAnn out, if that what he was doing.  She's trying to be funny, but she's coming off inappropriate.  The guy ran away.  Dorinda is getting louder and louder and out of hand.  Overly made up, drinking and acting "uncool".  IMO.   Never mind Sonja, someone has to straighten out Dorinda with the drinking.

I'm uncomfortable with the who has a worse loss storyline.  It's getting? I don't know, I just don't like it and I find it sad.  I don't want an entire season of this.

And Carole kind of wants it both ways.  Death is on a different plane than divorce, but a relationship she referred to with an expiration date is on the same level as marriage. 

I know, I know.  Luanne/Tom never should have happened, etc., but my point is...

Carole should shut up and think about the complexity of life outside of her experience.

I have to admit that product placement was one of the most artfully accomplished in any show I've seen.  Tinsley acted that scene very naturally too.  I think she still came off like a twit in the rest of the episode though, particularly when she threw herself on the floor.  Ughh!

I have a feeling Tinsley's mom puts a lot of pressure on her to marry well, and soon.  She came off just as desperate, making holiday plans with him already.

i forgot the whole backstory about Tin's arrest before her first season, but wasn't it something like stalking her ex? I can kinda see that now when she was talking tonight about how desperately she wants to get back with Scott.

I agree that Ramona looks great in those TH shots with the long bob slightly curled, that's the prettiest I've seen her look in years.

for once I don't mind Bethany's bragging about her charitable work.  She's actually getting shit done, not half-heartedly tossing paper towels at people who don't even have any water to wipe up.

It was good except for the fact that the Nivea hand cream bottle was clearly visible on the counter (I actually thought it was Tinsley's bottle), and then, Tinsley is asking the Priv girl "Do you have any hand lotion in there?" - pointing to the makeup bag, and the Priv girl talks about this great Nivea moisturizing lotion.

Am I the only one who feels that going to a “party” in a high end store and shopping doesn’t seem like fun.  I would think you would feel obligated to buy some over priced item since you’re there & other people are buying.  How do you even arrange something like that and does the host pay anything?

Gosh, I guess I'm over on the other side of pool....Yes, Tins reaction to seeing Scott was a little over the top but I'd rather see that than having to listen to So and her great love story with Morgan and the yachts, etc.   It didn't bother me that much.  Tin's mom was the one who brought up Christmas and the stocking...and I did laugh when her mom brought up the dog....which belonged to Scott's ex.

For real. For that type of money I want that Gwyneth Paltrow Goop type shit. You know, made from the milk of rare Himalayan organic Yak milk, guava grown in the most remote regions in Central America, black truffles and yarubi melons. 

She maybe problematic about some things but Luanne truly lived up to her Countess title and practice what she preached about etiquette with how classy she was when being blindsided  by Missy AGAIN because of Ramona's nasty messy ass. Well done!

Bethanny is a big money boss. I can't wait to see her newly renovated apt. That closet alone in NYC is friggin' insane!

Ramona is going to be one heck of a shit stirrer this season.  From Luanne & Missy, Dorinda and Sonja, to Bethenny and Carole, she’s got her little fingers in all of it.  

I love me some crazy Ramona, but the idea that she Carole are going to be besties makes me give all sorts of side eye at Carole.

Agree with KFB about the lunch and switching chairs.

Beth should have stood up and told Ramona to take her (B's) chair and that she (B) would be taking her plate and moving to Ramonas former seat to finish her meal and catch up with the ladies at the other end of the table. 

This would have made SonJa feel included and left Ramona holding the bullshit bag.

Doris is becoming unraveled, and it looks like it continues in coming episodes.

OMG, someone else has probably already picked this up, but Sonja to Ramona about Ramona not defending Sonja's 'beautiful marriage' to Dorinda, major freudian slip:

And Ramona, PLEASE stay with the shorter hair, it is so flattering. Looking over Ramona's party, we see all those superannuated UES faces that have appeared at Ramona's parties for seasons. On first glance it appears to be a room studded with California blondes. Then the vision clears and it's like ... crypt crawlers. All  these 60+ women and their long ageing hair. And the bloated fillered faces. Dorinda, Luanne and Ramona (in her TH, NOT at her party, where she was one of them as usual), look so much more sophisticated and more youthful. 

 

Tinsley: Oh dear lord. What an infant. Has she learned nothing? In what universe is it ok at over 40 to collapse into the foetal position and babble about a bouqet that's rotted into vegetal stink slime while waiting for her prince to arrive? If you must have these rituals, keep them to yourself, they are not sexy.  Scott would be justified in running a mile. He was so deeply uncomfortable. Her mother has failed to teach her anything, or Tinsley has failed to learn. And the hotel room. The frckn heels decorating the kitchen and the overobsequious room attendant? Tinsley needs to cut her hair, lose her froufrou and step into womanhood. The little girl act is no longer cute and it's definitely not sexy.

She was as hyper as a female serial killer spotting her prey ("Who are you? My name is Aileen Wuornos!!") and it was all kinds of secondhand cringeworthy, but as crazy as it looked, I think that girl is canny about the man she's chasing.  However unsettled Scott might have initially been, I'm pretty sure no woman ever fell smitten to the floor in his presence before.  It may not last forever, but he'll be back for more of that ol' time religion.

I found Tinsley and Scott strangely endearing. Incredibly juvenile, with the potential for major mind-breaking crazy drama later. But, in this giggly happy moment it was fun to watch. 

Luann is tough and she may be more of an expert on etiquette than I thought, because she handled the Missy stuff beautifully. Boring for me as a viewer, though, because of the restraint. At least we later got... 

The fight at the end reminded me of Atlanta...a scene with Sheree, I think, from years ago. I so want to attend a housewives party at some point to see if it's as weird in person as it appears on TV.

I kind of liked how Tinz described Scott as a humble self-made man. And yet I admit, I still kind of giggle when I think that his claim to fame is a place called Coupon Cabin. And then I think about her fainting before him—the King of Coupon Cabin.

I actually like Scott, and ironically enough, I knew someone who worked at Coupon Cabin. If Scott was on RHONY when I worked with this other guy, you better believe I’d be asking what Scott was like. And maybe even what The Tinz was like. LOL

I also loved that she walks over and says that she just wants to leave with her jewelry on and that she is wearing the real stuff and not the fake stuff while making a gesture towards the display.  How obnoxious. This party was at Henri Bendel which is an extremely nice store.  It isn’t like a Sears or JCPenney’s.

Nope, the host is actually paid and/ or comped with free products.

This type of parties are annoying and are the modern equivalent of my aunties’ Tupperware ones in the 70’s, imv.

Plus alcohol infused shopping is never a good idea, imo. 

As far as how to arrange those parties, Ramona/Bravo  is most likely being approached by Bendel at this time.

Bendel is truly slumming here. I guess it is good national and international exposure.
