S09.E05: I Couldn't Chair Less

Shannon and Vicki connect over holistic healing. Meanwhile, Heather organizes a hoedown-theme bash; Tamra pressures her son to be more responsible; and tension mars a holiday outing.

Heather has more than lost my vote as a sympathetic character with her behavior tonight toward Shannon. This show is threatening to go down the constant argument route that Atlanta has taken.

Heather doesn't know when to let things go, but I'd much rather be friends with her than Shannon.  Shannon just seems so pathetic -- trying anything and everything (crystals, feng shui, whatever it is that Dr. Moon is doing, etc.) to make her life happier. 

 

I didn't think I'd like Lizzie, but so far I have.  And most of the rest of the HWs are not exactly mental giants themselves, so it was pretty ironic that they were mocking the fact that Lizzie had been valedictorian of her class.

 

Ryan just gets creepier and creepier each season.

On the plus side, at least Vicki is actually calling Asian people "Asian people" now, as opposed to whatever offensive term she previously used while pulling her eyes into slits.  So that's something.
