MerBearHou April 3, 2018 Author Share April 3, 2018 We saw this and were very moved. Truly amazing what Bart Millard came through. The lead actor had a wonderful voice (played in Les Miz on Broadway). Has anyone else seen it? It's holding up surprisingly well in the box office. 1 Link to comment
SunnyBeBe April 3, 2018 Share April 3, 2018 I was thinking about going...,.then, another shooting happens. I'm a little hesitant. It does appeal to me though. I LOVE the song. Link to comment
FirstHalf April 5, 2018 Share April 5, 2018 I saw this movie while visiting my best friend in NY. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's worth the watch, in my opinion. Link to comment
IWantCandy71 April 10, 2018 Share April 10, 2018 I've seen it several times and will buy it when it comes out on DVD. Well written, well acted, never boring. J. Michael Finley has an AMAZING voice and is a good actor. Good for him that he'd apparently rather do stage work than Hollywood movies, but bad for me because it means I likely won't get to see much of his work. Dennis Quaid was awesome in his part, and he deserves to be recognized for it.. I have been moved to tears each time and you can audibly hear most people in the theater crying also. One of the best movies I've seen in a while. I don't think you have to come from an abusive background to relate, because EVERYONE comes from a family that is dysfunctional in one form or another.
