I'm really looking forward to this. I love Wes Anderson's sense of humour, and the stop motion looks almost as charming as it did in Fantastic Mr. Fox. And there's always something so incongruously funny about all those serious, adult, actor-ly voices coming out of scruffy looking animals.

I really enjoyed it a lot. The stop-motion animation looked great and I loved the voice work and the personalities and interactions of the main dogs.

I'm surprised there aren't any comments on it here yet, but then again I guess it's still in limited release right now.

Be sure to post here again after you've seen it!

I finally got to see this and I loved it!  Certainly one of my favorite Wes Anderson films, if not the favorite (Grand Budapest Hotel gives it a run for its money).  The voice actors were outstanding, and I really enjoyed all the little animated touches like the randomly sneezing dogs, Nutmeg's fur gently blowing in the breeze, the ticks on the dogs, and the rats.  I really want to see it again and pay more attention to the background bits.

I admit, I was terribly concerned about how Spots would get out of his crate (glad he made it!), and the science behind the cure-all serum was outrageously bad.  Oh, and your kidneys aren't in the front like that, and newborn puppies' eyes aren't open.  But I loved the film despite those horribly bad details.

That was great.  And I love they way the fights are staged, with all the swirling and flying.

Afterward, Mr. Outlier said it would have benefited from a little more imagination.  (He was kidding.)
