I also want to find a copy of Real Genius. I remember loving that. (The girl with ADHD who unwinds at night by using a giant sander on the floors of her dorm room! The lasers!)

To bring us, including me, back on topic: last night Taran and Rob were discussing Tiffany's interesting and revealing solo talks to the camera in various rooms, and Taran pointed out, snarkily, how great it would be if there was a special place the HGs could go to to express their feelings, sort of like they were speaking to their diary, like, you know, a DIARY ROOM!  He's not wrong. They were allowed to do this in the original DR, back before all their DRs were forced and shouty. Most of us really wish that would come back.

Oh, and all 4 RHAPers loathe Deref at this point and just want him gone.

I think they probably still do use the DR for that it's just that, for some unknown and nonsensical reason, TPTB think we'd rather see the scripted DRs instead.

I'm a little worried that when I rewatch it, it won't hold up. That happens sometimes.

I saw "Better off Dead" for the first time this year and I was kind of blown away.  It's really good.

That one I couldn't get through!  I wanted to.  I know people like it.

Wow, Rob, Taran and various other RHAP hosts are so over this season! I can't remember them ever being as obviously ready for a season to end as they were last night. This is taking into account that they've all loved this season, but in their minds it's basically over so hand X the money already. I can't disagree.

One of the hosts said she's only going to keep watching because it's her job, but she's not looking forward to how dragged out it's going to be.

Eh, I know I'll be along for the ride to the bitter end. It's going to be anticlimactic though, until the finale.

Rob didn't like last season from what I remember. Taran was constantly defending why he thought it was interesting until the triple and then seemed over last season.

It was a foregone conclusion he'd be F2 though, even from week 1 of his second season. Same with Tyler, even though he also ended up losing. The endgame has been so predictable for so long. Honestly, maybe even from earlier than I'm remembering since I don't really remember seasons 2-9 lol.

I haven't watched a full season and hardly any of the ones after he lost the 2nd time. It wasn't because I was a fan of his, the reasoning was the opposite actually. I had grown tired of returnees and the show as a whole had kind of worn me down. Paul's 2nd loss felt like a quite satisfying way to put myself on hiatus from the show. The few times I've tried to watch an episode since that season I haven't felt compelled to keep watching.

I was a fan from the first season. I'll probably try to watch the upcoming celeb season since I liked the first one. I didn't tune in for the second for reasons I can't remember now.

I only remember bits and pieces from seasons 1-9 really and past that not much more except for some of the blowups that occurred. The show being so damn predictable is a big part what made me take a break I mentioned in my previous post.

Jeez! Now, Julie is putting God and Derek in the same sentence and she really does love him. I guess she doesn’t mind the bitch stuff. Of course, she’s still with Les Moonves so she has a low threshold with how men treat woman:

https://ew.com/tv/julie-chen-moonves-interview-the-cookout/

Julie, her husband and her new found religiousness has also made it harder to want to tune in.  Finding out about her sending out bibles to past contestants along with the inscriptions was a big WTF moment too. Derek from a few years ago winning had me thinking of quitting after his season but I kept going for a few more years after that. Not sure if that was a good or bad thing...😆

Jesus Christ, pardon my pun. Well, that interview could give CBS great ammo for finally canning that inept piece of shite once and for all.

She was always at best a mediocrity, both as a journalist and then host of Big Brother. Now she’s a total liability for the show and the network.

She must not have gotten the bitch memo from production who watch the feeds for her. LOL!!! Back in the day Julie would have been all offended if a male HG called Julie “Julie Baby”. Derek does it on a weekly basis and she’s all giddy. I also think she doesn’t want to offend or criticize the Cookout on anything so she is going along with it. I always thought Julie was horrible because she had to the show in front of an audience on eviction night. Now, I know it doesn’t matter if it’s a closed set or not. She’s a mess.

That interview with Julie is worse than I thought. Have they done away with the jury members voting for the winner? Because Julie seems to think Jesus will choose the most worthy house guest. She needs to go.

In other news, an article I can't link for some reason, from Screen Rant, was about Whitney responding to Derek F 's comments about her comic book cover. Derek said hers was inappropriate for kids, talked about her workout top, talked about a dad bringing it home to his kids because he wanted to look at it, (like it's porn). But Derek also praise alyssa's cover as looking AMAZING, and she's in a bikini.

Yeah, Derek f is despicable.

BB2-4 are probably the least predictable, I'd guess. I don't really remember BB5 enough to say for sure one way or the other.

Will and Nicole definitely weren't a foregone conclusion F2 in BB2, unless your foregone conclusion was "going to get voted out any day now" lol. BB3, Danielle making F2 maybe felt really possible, but I don't think Lisa winning was something most saw coming.

There's no way anyone in BB4 thought Jun and Alison would be the two left standing, except maybe Jun and Alison.

Last year was a done deal before anyone entered the house, which is such horseshit, I can't even.

BB5 had Drew cutting Diane at the end because the night before she told him how many jury votes she had. Even though Cowboy/Drew wasn't a great a Final 2 I don't think it was predictable.

I have heard him say on the live shows he loves God and he loves his mother. In my humble opinion, if both are true,  this guy is going all way! Amen.

So which is it, Julie? Will Azah’s prayers get her the win? Or will Deref’s devotion to both God AND Mom give him the edge? WHO DOES GOD LOVE MORE??

Guess we’ll have to tune in to the finale to see. Unless X or Ky win, in which case we will have proof that Satan is really running things in the BB house.

I thought that was already proven by the existence of Allison Grodner.

Well, that second picture where everyone is smiling is very nice. But WTF is up with the first picture, with his dad? They look like they want to punch each other. Body language says they are not close. (Or weren’t that day.)

It looks like the same day for both pictures, someone's wedding.

Nah....that's just the 'B-Boy' stance.

I think they’re trying to look business like… 🧐

In this interview, why does Kyland think that Tiffany would have been a worse representation than Xavier of the winner of the season? She was no more selfish (arguably, less so, as her own individual game would have been better had she stuck with Claire and DX) than anyone else in the cookout other than Azah!

I checked with the judges and they said it's because he's a sexist asshole. To be more specific misogynoir.

LOL at the Get Out comments, Kalamazoo is reasonably integrated for being Mid Western Michigan, but reasonably means 20% black. A marginally liberal pond in sea of white Reformed Dutch and conservative Christians.

I absolutely agree with what @blixie said, but wanted to add that Xavier never made the "bad choice" of turning down a Ky invite to stay in the HOH with him.

I know that in less than a week I will not really care about any of these people, but Kyland's post show interviews are making me dislike him even more than I did when he was Ky-splaining his way through the game.  In this one he claims X was either delusional or "in error" when he admitted to convincing DerF to vote Ky out.  You see, Ky himself told DerF on 3 separate occasions that, as a lesser player, it would be better for DerF's game to evict Ky.  Ky doesn't think X should get the credit for something that Ky did.  🙄  He wants credit for getting himself voted out.

And, you (Derek) didn’t win. Don’t come home. LOL!!!
