I enjoyed my kids more when they were out of the baby stage.

I think she was explaining that she's one of those people who isn't thrilled by "babies," but she's willing to work through that stage so she can have little people who will grow into someone to love and share family adventures.  Life in general.   Some people love the baby stage and then are extremely unhappy when they realize they've brought someone into the world who will question and challenge them.

This. I knew exactly what she meant. She’s not having kids to have “babies,” but to grown her family for future memories.

Am I the only who hates the hypocrisy of MM and her use of tribe or tribalism?

I had never heard it used that much in conversation if at all until Elsa started using it daily. I don't watch Faux News but it seems to be a popular word over there and on Elsa's husbands site which I found out after reading things online to try and figure out why it's such a frequent ingredient in her word salads each week. I deleted Tuesday and Wednesday's shows without watching after reading about them here first. I'll probably watch the guest segment for today at the very least since I want to see Mark and the Friday's show since Whoopi usually isn't there which makes Elsa not as hard to watch sometimes.

What in holy hell is Meggie decked out in today???   It looks like she has a bewb shelf on her chest; she's wearing a Skirt of Many Colors, made from a box of old polyester scarves; and the hair?  A braid across the top AND an Olive Oyl bun???  Somebody's just messin' with somebody now.

So Sunny is trying to clarify that she didn't really advocate violence, and there is Meghan "Uh yeah you did."

Bitch.

She's trying to make headlines and she will. Just watch. She always retweets certain media outlets when the title is something like, "Meghan SHUTS DOWN Co-host!"

A bitch, indeed.

So I'm pretty much waiting for the day Sunny snaps and screams at Meghan to fuck off. Apparently, Ms. Word-A-Day missed the English class when they discussed the difference between literal and figurative. There's no way that Meghan actually thought Sunny was threatening President Trump. Meghan just wanted to "win" the conversation.

Oh, and I'm starting to think that Whoopi doesn't use the Internet. The whole point is that people were tricked into giving out their information , not that they are giving out their SSNs.

So Meghan really does believe anything unpleasant or negative she encounters is because she is a Republican.    All I got to say is KARMA bitch.

Well, it couldn't possibly be because her personality is off-putting and obnoxious. No, it's because everyone else is biased against Republicans. /sarcasm

Poor little rich girl Meghan.  It must be so hard to have a name (and money) to get you in the door.  And horror of horrors you actually have to prove yourself once inside the door.

And bullshit that Meghan had no choice but to choose a career related to politics because it was all she knew.  She majored in art history in college.  Meghan could have went into her mother's family business.  She could have studied any number of things and had a career not related to politics.

Also: it'd be easier to separate Meghan from her family if she wasn't always bringing them up.

When your uber rating is so low you can't get a ride -- it's not because you're a Republican, it's because you're an entitled bitch!

I don't like how Megan likes to pick on Sunny. Sunny was not advocating violence against the President.  Megan wants to take down somebody who leans left so bad. She has left Joy alone and has decided to target Sunny, who is too much of a pushover, for my liking. I find it absurd that a former Prosecutor would let a gnat like Megan twist her words like that..  Sunny is reminding me a bit of Rosie, who trusted Elizabeth and truly believed that they were friends. We all know how that ended...Megan will not hesitate to throw Sunny, under the bus, if it means that she will become a beloved heroine, for the right..

That POS MM said who was throwing shade at her? (Joy & Sunny?)  I heard her say to Sarah , you didn't say anything throwing shade. Wtf? Such a self absorbed bitch. They can't  have a conversation without her taking it personally.  She is just nasty everday. First she totally wanted Sunny to get dragged for "threatening" the POS  president.  Then she thought sunny was picking on her entitled ass.  STFU Meghan!

@Apprentice79--and yet, Meghan has NO PROBLEM with the President advocating violence against others. Man, I went to the dark side and damned if I'm not going to ask Sunny why she is allowing this bullying behavior from someone who is so ignorant and stupid. And didn't go to LAW SCHOOL.

@Jaded-Meghan's ass brought it forth her VERY FIRST DAY. And I even called it out for what it was: code word for RACISTS. Because "tribal" sounds so BRAVE.

*So NOW Meghan thinks that the Russians did in fact interfere in our elections and is bothered by it? Last Fall, she didn't believe it at all. Kept saying how 45's "BASE" made sure he won. It was his base. His base. His base. STFU, you twaddle twat.

And NOW she thinks her kind of Republicans are still out there? When just a few months ago, she said, "her kind of Republicans" were gone, and now we're living with "Trumpism." GTFO. IF Begala were a guest cohost when she was spouting all this yesterday, he'd have SHUT HER DOWN and asked her to explain her flip floppin' ASS.

It has seriously turned into "The Meghan McCain View." She hogs up most of the conversation and makes everything about her - her politics, her family, her experiences, ect. I'm not sure how much longer the show can go on like this.

That is why it's getting hard to watch. They all seem to have very clear orders to back off and let MM have the floor when she wants it. She gets the first middle and last word. The other woman seem to want to play nice with her but Meghan is there to take down "Liberals".  As someonepointed out she retweets articles giving her  praise for shutting down/schooling the other woman.

Dear Meghan,  People are not doing negative things to you because you're a Republican.  People are not thinking about you 24/7.  You are not important enough to think about much at all.  Leave this show and chances are I will never think about you again.

There's a whole fucking world out there that does not know or care who Meghan McCain is or would ever recognize her, much less know her political party.

Seriously, so many people don't watch tv or go on Internet sites that might--just might--mention her dad's family in a blue moon.

What an ego.  And a fake victim. And a liar about being snubbed BECAUSE of her party politics. It's your snobbish entitled attitude and stupid valley girl voice fry that turns new acquaintences/store clerks/wait staff or business staff off, moron.

And quit yelling.  It hurts my ears and my dog hides.

Please God, don't let this shit show win an Emmy so MM can boast on her resume.

Another fun animal/insect fact regarding sex. Female Praying Mantis will eat the body of the male (from the head down) while mating. The male will continue to mate, while this is happening.

I found myself agreeing with Whoopi regarding Facebook. I'm a millennial and I grew up with computers, but I was always told to never put your information out there. Social media made us comfortable and people put anything and everything online. Then they get nervous because they don't realize that apps ask you for your information, or they made their profiles public and anyone can see them.

I'm not deleting Facebook, but I never put my real birthday on it, nor did I put my work place, school, phone number or any information worth noting. I made it hard to find me and kept my profile private. I also don't use Facebook on my phone, nor do I use any social media device on my phone. If I need to, then I'd go via the internet browser and never from the app. The breech of trust is appalling, but I kind of feel like everyone has been mining our data since the dawn of the internet. People need to be smarter about their information, because someone will use it.

I hardly ever watch The View.  But today I tuned in to see if they had anything to say about the Austin bombings.

What do I hear?  "I'm a Republican.  We don't win that many awards."  And then I realize that it's Sen. McCains daughter again.  Every time I tune in she's right there playing the victim.  What a twat.  Where did she learn to get stupid about this stuff?  I'm pretty sure her father didn't make it through being a POW by whining "You're all so mean to me.  I never get to win.  Everyone's against me because I'm a POW, and it's so unfaiirrreeee!"

But once she found something to turn against that other lady she turned into a big bully.  "I can't believe you're advocating violence against the President."

Frankly, I understand what that other lady was saying.  How did Trump get this far in life without someone snapping and smacking him around?  He's an ass, he's always been an ass, he's proud of being an ass.  Did his father have to hire a body guard to keep him safe when he went to kindergarten from there out?  Trump really acts like the entitled guy who's simultaneously insecure about how he's perceived by everyone else and yet is certain that his name gives him safety.

During the conversation about Ivanka, Sunny said:  "Ivanka should have extrapolated herself from the business ...." when she meant extricated!!  I think she was rattled about having to apologize for NOTHING ... DAMN!!!

P.S. -- Shut the fuck up Meggie!!!  You don't know what you're talking about!!!  EVER!!!

Companies were collecting our info before Facebook.

I remember when stores first started with membership cards, you got special discounts at the grocery store if you signed up. I resisted for a few years, because I didn't like my purchases being tracked, people thought I was being ridiculous.  I gave in, but I don't like  that you're practically required to swipe a card to get discounts.

Whoopi, for the second day in a row, screeches "don't give out your social security number!" She has no idea what's going on.  I read something recently about how some institutions use security questions like: your mother's maiden name, name of your first pet, city you were born in, etc, to recover your passwords.  Those are thing that can be found on Facebook.  Post happy birthday to your mom, and someone who wants to can use that to figure out some passwords.  You know those cutesy questions like, " what's your pornstar name? Use the name of your first pet, and the street you grew up on". Yeah you may have just given more info than you think.

A bitch, indeed.

What drove me crazy about this (aside from Meghan McCan't, I mean) is that before the break in topic (when Sunny couldn't hear the control room, and the moved on to Facebook), when Whoopi first interrupted Sunny, Sunny was saying, "Why doesn't anybody just stand up to him?"

MM steamrolled over her with the trademark spew (that makes me long for the dulcet tones of Jed's rat-a-tat-tat) "...Because he has Secret Service. He's the President of the United States. You want somebody to take him out back and beat the crap out of him? That's not reality. Let's talk about the debt. I can't with all this."

Sunny replied, "No I mean, I'm not not advocating beating up the President, but why doesn't anybody just stand up--"

Then Whoopi cut her off, with that, "So, so, well you know, here's what's going to happen to your behind... The Secret Service gonna call you," bullshit.

Even Joy, who tried to help, didn't catch it, and added, "She didn't mean it. Say it."

Sunny just stumbled around repeating that she wishes someone would stand up.

She finally had to spell it out and then McCan't still piled on, and I think misrepresented her.

I can't help but feel that the control room (and maybe the culture) flips out just a little bit more, because there are women on The View, and *gasp* they have opinions.

That entire exchange was super annoying. Whoopi was just trying to be on Meghan's good side while messing with Sunny, once again. Meghan twisting Sunny's words is a way for her to make headlines for taking down someone on the left.

I have a hard time believing that they go out for drinks after the show. Sunny needs to grow a pair and stop being so nice to Meghan.

It's the same as the reaction to what Biden said. He talked about, "in my day, a guy who talked that way about women in the locker room,......."

And people said he threatened to beat up the president.

That's not a threat.

Sunnywas also commenting on how, perhaps if Trump HAD been  beat up for saying things earlier in his life, he wouldn't have the same behavior now. But her message got jumbled up by the interruptions.
