I just want some combo of Ross/Marissa/Brandi nommed this week. That's all I ask!

I need to decide whether to watch the endurance comp or the men's figure skating final tomorrow night. Decisions, decisions.

ETA: @Lady Calypso how do you know it's endurance tomorrow night/that we'll be seeing it on the feeds?

Yeah, when they announce endurance comps ahead of time, it's usually because they're promoting the live feeds so people can get it and watch live. So they will definitely be on the feeds tomorrow shortly after eviction. I know it's usually between 2-20 minutes for them to actually APPEAR on the feeds after the East Coast airing, though.

From Joker’s:

Thu 3:38 PM BBT: Ross Brandi , Ariadna in bed resting. Marissa leaves. Shannon alone in the kitchen during her nails.

From WHAT!?!?  :D

Thu 3:41 PM BBT: Ariadna called to diary room. Ross thinks there will be a twist. Marissa says she would like a comp, like have or have not over a twist that would send someone home.

RESET!!!

Likely not a reset because then they'd have to have two double evictions. That would be too much for even them.

However, I could go for a Coup, so Shannon can get herself and hopefully Mark off the block and put up Ross/Marissa. That would be ideal.

Sadly, I think it's going to be a crap twist.

I am in MT and live shows all start at 6pm so all zones watch at the same time.

I live right on the edge of time zones. It is so crazy that my ipad in my bedroom is PST and in my kids bedroom is MST! I techincally live in MTN but live shows starts at 7pm here and ends at 9pm if I am on cable tv. If I stream all access live it starts at 8pm. My all access constantly changes my local CBS from UT to NV to CA to OK, . My son says it goes by where my internet coming from, we have 3 internet connections just to get decent service. The joys of living in landlocked rural USA!

Close!  We have a Zion bank and Zion mall! I live in southern Utah, a wonderful combo or polygamy, retirees, strict LDS and tons of kids,  and a few people like me that somehow get stuck here! I'm waiting for BB to have a Utah HG. Can't believe it has not happened since reality TV is full of people from Utah plus so much reality Tv films here. I know a few people that would be great for BB.

But where is everyone seeing that it's an endurance tomorrow? I figured it was the ticker above the feeds announcing it like usual, but I'm not seeing it. Though my feeds still don't fucking work for me on the website, which is deeply annoying me.

I found out on Reddit to this tweet:

This is nuts! 2 different time zones in your house ia bizarre, clearly.  Utah is the most beautiful state in the union and I have been to almost all if them. At one time a son had a GF who was from  southern Utah and when she moved to MA she said she was from AZ because of this. She didn't want to have the conversation.

I like Ross.  I am one who would love to see the women wiped out this season.  I like all of the men and the women irritate me. I want Marissa OUT.

I'm actually from MA! and I hope to be back in New England/NY by the summer. My kids might not want to say they are from Southern Utah but I enjoy telling my back East friends what life is really like. All these reality shows filmed her for the most part do not tell the full story or even have much truth to them.

One of  reasons I have been updating at jokers right now is the late night military bombing excerises the past 2 weeks.  I'm very glad for all the late night talks in the HoH that I can update because I just can't sleep when waking up to the noise and vibrations of the bombs that shake my bedroom windows.

I'm kind of hoping for an Omarosa HoH just because it will be good feeds and not predictable. I would love to see the HG not sleeping and all sneaking to the HoH to influence her and how she handles it.

5:10 p.m. -- Ross and Brandi are discovering the wonders of Swiffer!   Ross remembered that he has some Swiffer dusters at home because he knew that he could use them on ceiling fans, but I guess he hasn't used them in quite a while, as he is acting like a kid who just got a new toy.  He and Brandi are happily Swiffer-ing various nooks and crannies in the BB house and realizing how satisfying it is.

Brandi exclaimed, "Who knew?!"

(This is basic stuff that we regular folks have known for many years, Brandi.)

In the kitchen, Shannon has been laboring over curry for a while, having to improvise because BB didn't give her the right spices.

A little earlier, when Metta was working out by himself, he said to the cameras that (a couple of days ago) he really wanted to ask Ari, Brandi, etc.,  to nominate him and let him go home, but he didn't have the heart to do it.   So he decided to go along with the plan to get out Shannon.  He said something about how James is next, and then he'll "let them have it" (whatever that means).

Also earlier, James, Ross and Mark were talking about how pouty Shannon is being, and how she is not who they thought she was when the game started.  Ross said he really likes who she is as a person.  Mark said he liked who she was at the start of the game.  James said that Shannon told him she does not want to come to the finale next week, and he said she is blaming her eviction on the other people in the house not knowing how to play the game.

Shannon is now talking to herself (and the cameras) about being back in the real world and getting her phone back.

PM me and tell me where you lived!  Love this.  I told the GF that people in MA did not relate to Utah that way and saying you are from AZ is not as interesting.  This was way before Sister Wives.  She did as I suggested and was thrilled to find everyone was interested in a state they didn't know all that much about..

LOL!!!  So if they really knew how to play the game they would keep her as their leader and let her win?

Can't get her out fast enough.  She has gone from bubbly, happy camper, hard core war gamer to become a self-absorbed major buzzkill this season.  Ms Mopey.

These people can't even manage to keep fish alive for 2-1/2 weeks.  One of the fish just died (it's now 10:06 p.m. Big Brother time) -- not sure how it happened -- and it drifted to the bottom of the tank, where another fish started pecking at it, dive bombing and trying to eat it.   Metta wanted to reach in and get the dead fish out, but Marissa told him he would kill the other fish if he did that.

Mark, Metta, James and Marissa looked on in horror as the cannibal fish tried to eat its friend.    Either Mark or James said, "This is terrifying!!!"   lol

They were finally let into the yard, and Mark and James were still talking about how intense (and interesting) the fish incident was.

Aww. So Metta/Shannon apparently bonded last night, where they talked for a couple of hours, and then Shannon explained to Metta about Chilltown and their phone call DRs, and production actually called both of them in to do it. I can see that very well making the show tonight, or on Sunday's episode.

I know Shannon's been all over the place this week, and that's annoying for sure, and I know she caused her own demise. But when she's happy, it's actually really sweet. Plus, she was apparently just telling Metta everything last night, because why not?

I do believe if Metta gets to the end, he'll win. I now want that to happen. Who knew?

Also, Shannon confirmed that she won't be voting for the four and she'd vote for James if he got to the end. Ah, bitter jurors, and the unfortunate part is that there's not a whole lot of time to process and think logically, especially for someone like Shannon, so of course there's bitter jurors.

Also, it sounds like if Metta wins HOH, he'd put up Ross/Marissa.

Meanwhile, James is just too gullible in thinking that he's in an alliance when he really only has Mark, and well, we know Mark is throwing comps.

Join the Metta train. He's the best thing about this season and definitely one of the kindest people the show has ever had. Usually for shows like this production wants drama and vile people, but Metta is an example of a good person who is still entertaining.

You know what's more shocking, the fact that if James, Mark, or Metta don't make it to the final and it's Omarosa against one of those four, she might actually win. She already has a vote from Chuck, Keisha, possibly Metta too, and Shannon will vote for her if she's still bitter.

Everyone expects Omarosa to lose, but her social game is on point and she's managed to make herself disappear from the recent drama. Even during the last elimination, Keisha asked to leave but if she didn't Shannon would have been backdoored. It's kind of amazing how well Omarosa is doing and no one really notices.

Exactly. I think it's been Brandi who's been saying that they need to drag Omarosa far because they can beat her. When now we know for sure that if James, Metta, Mark, or Omarosa get to the end, they might actually win, but Omarosa for sure isn't some goat who won't get votes.

Omarosa did get awfully lucky with Shannon's mistakes blowing up her own game. I do think if that hadn't have happened, Omarosa wouldn't have a good chance of getting to the finals. I didn't read much about Omarosa yesterday, and that's actually a benefit to her. The more she stays under the radar, the better her chances are. That's not to say she's playing a good game, because she's been sloppy as well, but she's potentially got some bitter jurors who will vote for her.

I still wish it was Mark who was leaving tonight. Nice guy, but not important to the season, I don't need to see this all guys alliance thing pan out, Shannon/James' relationship would be strengthened when he realizes his supposed final five alliance is planning to betray him next, and we can have more Shannon/Metta (and there'd be a legit chance of a house divide that could work!). Disappointment all around that it's unlikely to happen. I could have been down for a Shannon/Omarosa/Metta/James alliance.

I am not sure Omarosa would win if in F2.  Her reputation precedes her and with only Keisha and Metta in her corner, odds are not good.  Not sure if everyone can ignore her past. There will be 9 jurors.

Shannon may change her mind on the final vote if they have a guide and a final round table.  When home she will gain a broader perspective reading Twitter etc. She might be embarrassed by her own behavior.  She works in Africa but is that full time or does she have a home base residence here?

I know my logic here is a stretch but I am not able to embrace the possibility of Omarosa winning.

Phew! I just caught up.  I like to read the whole thread before I post. Candy Crystal (porn name) checking in here.

I really like that the HG's are not just playing to "get to jury" like what has been going on in recent years. I attribute it to short season and no sequester- and of course all are in jury.  It's so much more interesting. And if the reason the jury was sequestered in the first place (Danielle) is to keep bitter juries from seeing the DR's then with the trend to now just use DR's to narrate the game - who cares if they see them?   I say let them go home. Let them read every snarky social media comment. Maybe then we would get better results in the finale.

And maybe a better round table discussion.

Well, Omarosa also has Chuck, who said he'd vote for Omarosa because she was the only one to vote for him to stay.

I think we will see what happens, but the point is that the Big Four are making assumptions that certain people will for sure lose, when that's not the case. Shannon will be cooped up in a hotel room until finale, but she'll likely have the most perspective by the finale, as I assume she'll be soaking up as much information as possible. She'll see how Ross and Marissa betrayed her and I think they're less likely to get her votes as a result of them blatantly lying to her face time and time again.

It's not a guarantee that certain players will win, but there's a more likely chance of certain people winning and certain ones losing. Ross and Marissa have a less likely chance of winning due to the game that they played, for example, while we've already heard statements of Omarosa having at least two jury votes (Keshia, Chuck). Do I want Omarosa to win? Hell no. But am I currently more annoyed at other people than her? Hell yes.

We'll see by finale, which is in nine days. Omarosa's already discussed to be a target by the Big Four anyway, if they don't have a chance to backdoor James, so she could be gone on Monday, for all I know.

Oh! This probably should be in another thread, but Keshia and Chuck both said on The Talk after their evictions that they'd vote for Omarosa.

Pretend we know nothing about Omarosa from previous shows, she is playing a good game. She did not pout when she was on the block. She knows she is now and will for the rest of the game be a target. She knows she is not really part of the girls. But, she puts on her pageant smile and forges along. She puts her acting skills to good use and acts as if she knows none of this. That is a player. She hears and observes everything. That is a player. She drops little nuggets that get the HG running from room to room. That is a player. If there was an Americas vote and she was in F2 she would get my vote. She had to "work it" with almost no support and kept her cool throughout.

This. If you can separate what we know about her from her Big Brother gameplay, from simply a gameplay evaluation, she's playing the best game in there so far. Involved in everything, but coming out of each eviction (all two of them) relatively unscathed.

Because her home is in South Africa, she won't be able to fly home. My wording of cooped up in a hotel room is wrong, because she can still wander around Los Angeles, but she'll definitely not be home.

I wouldn't say she's playing the best game (I might have to hand it to Mark and Ari before her, as Ari's not even discussed as a target option, and Mark's had a good social game), but she's not the worst in there.

I'm thinking of who's played a great game and it's tough to say because they've all at least been playing (shade on BB19, of course). I can say that Ross/Marissa have been playing the worst games this season besides Shannon, but they're still not the most terrible I've seen.

I think she has a residence here, too.   If she really lived in Cape Town full time it would be highly unlikely that she would be on this show.  She seems to want everyone to think she lives there but I suspect her work takes her there on occasion or maybe she just did a stint and is back home.   It is possible most will be in a hotel due to the distance of their home.  And all will be checking twitter, message boards  etc as you mentioned.

ETA.  When I wrote this I didn't know she said she rents a house with Simon down there.  So this is probably wrong.  I would delete it but @Lady Calypso already quoted me!   So I take it back.   I don't like her so I think the worst.  <exiting with tail between legs>

It's kind of funny because she's HOH this week, has been the one to make the decisions on who goes up, has actually had to convince her alliance that they need to stick with their plan, and yet people still think this is Brandi's HOH. If this was Brandi's HOH, she might have hesitated on throwing Mark up there, I think, and she might not have thrown James/Shannon up as initial nominees.

She might have a residence still in the States (at the very least, she has people who she can remain with until the finale), but her boyfriend lives in South Africa and when she was talking to James a couple of days ago about her work, she mentioned renting a house with him. So I think, at the very least, she's mostly in South Africa. That's a lot of flying back and forth otherwise. Plus, if Americans can participate on the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother, I can't imagine why an American living overseas can't either.

On another note, I totally didn't realize that Shannon and Marissa both worked on Scary Movie together (I can't remember if their characters shared scenes together) so they have possibly known each other the longest, even if just acquaintances (18 years).

Shannon not lying down yet. Still bargaining to stay in the game and not hiding it. Campaigning with Mark right there. Ross says he will think about it. Mari not giving her much hope.  But, she is still plugging away.

Marisa should real just stop talking. She doesn't make much sense. Mark getting a little annoyed that Shannon is still campaigning and maybe ruining friendships. Aww!! SO sad.

Mark walked right by Shannon campaigning to Ross and overheard it. He apologized to Ross, then says "I thought we were all friends ya know? I don't treat friends like that. This is going to ruin things going forward." (about Shannons actions)

Twitter ^ Marks reaction to that conversation.

Though stupid of Shannon, Mark really does not know this game at all.  I question Shannon's as well.

The BB house makes me people so bitchy!!

James and Shannon were talking. I missed most of the convo.  James says to Shannon "I really miss Keisha's kitchen" and in a nasty tone Shannon goes "I don't one bit" which I think took James back a little and he says "well.... I mean I miss the good food.. not necessarily the cook..."

Yeah Ari made the biggest move of the game and walks away with "no blood or her hands" (God, I hate that phrase) basically.  That is a real player at work.

She has a really good shield in Brandi and has had her as a shield from seemingly day one too.  What a weird combo those two to have become almost inseparable.  And when the other players realize they need to be broken up they will probably target Brandi at that point.  And they will probably come after the Ross and Marissa duo first any way.  Wow, layer upon layer of protection.

I mean anything can happen on BB but Ari has made all the right moves so far.  So far Ari seems to have played the best game.  I mean also remember she and Brandi roped in Ross and Marissa when the latter two could have chosen to go with Shannon and James instead.  How did they manage that?  (Probably by treating R & M more like equals than Shannon did is my guess).

If Ari can make it to the finals she has a really good chance of winning.  No one so far has gotten upset at her, distrusted her, blamed her for her moves etc etc.  All this could change on a dime again of course but props to her play so far.

I agree that Ari is making great moves and playing a solid game, but I don't think she'll get any credit for it at the end. People thinking Brandi runs her game is good for her now, it keeps her from being a target, but in the end it means they'll see her as someone who did nothing but float/ride someone else's coattails. And I don't expect her to be able to really explain what she did well.

Yeah Ari made the biggest move of the game and walks away with "no blood or her hands" (God, I hate that phrase) basically.  That is a real player at work.

She has been on the pageant circuit for years.  If she made it all the way from local pageant to almost becoming Miss Universe, she knows how to handle a bunch of bitchy beauty queens.  She has been training for CBB for all of her adult life.  Ari knows how to defend herself and stab her opponents in the back before they can stab her in the back.  Plus she is able to do it in a bikini and in high heels with perfect make up and a big ole smile on her face.  I so want to be her.

With a non sequestered jury there might be less chance of this. People can go back and watch and read how she was really playing. Also if Brandi isn't in the final 2 with her I would fully expect that she would set the record straight on that.

I don't think the episodes are showing Ari as anything but a follower though really. But yea Brandi could campaign for her in jury, but I'm not so sure she'd do it by dispelling the thought that she controlled Ari's moves because then she'd be downplaying herself and I don't see her doing that.

But I could legit see any of these people winning. It's hard to predict how the votes will go since the jury will be so different than a normal one and since it's celebs who may have different goals in mind when they're voting than the regular hg would.
