ElectricBoogaloo February 7, 2018 Author Share February 7, 2018 Considering how everyone abandoned Moira and Johnny after they were forced to move, it was nice to see Moira reading all the nice things people were saying about her. I don't know if that's the wig I would have chosen to announce that I wasn't dead but you can always count on Moira to look dramatic. That sweeping leather cape was pretty amazing. Awwwww, Alexis swallowing her feelings to help David land the cheese exclusivity (a phrase I never though I would type) was very sweet. I love that afterward, David asked her if she was in love with Ted and she admitted it. I still don't care about Roland's wacky adventures, but I did love his lunch order. It sounded like something Cartman would order. 1 18 Link to comment
HighHopes February 7, 2018 Share February 7, 2018 My heart broke for Alexis in this episode, but I am so happy to see how far she and David have come from the beginning of the series! They have both grown so much, and they obviously care for each other -- they are some of the best siblings on TV right now. Roland's behaviour is getting old and is my least favourite part of the show. I can't get invested in his storyline/scenes. I really like how they explored the Stevie/Moira relationship in this episode some... I can't remember, do we know anything about Stevie's parents or family?? 1 13 Link to comment

The only specific stuff I remember about her family is from the episode in S3 when her great aunt died and left her the motel. Funeral director: I see your great-aunt has a sister. Stevie: They haven't spoken in twenty years. FD: And a stepson. Stevie: He's in prison. FD: And a cousin. Stevie: Who's also deceased. [David gives Stevie a look] Stevie: What? David: I didn't know. Stevie: That side of my family has a bit of a reputation for conflict. And philandering. And fraud. And gunplay. 4 Link to comment
dstv February 7, 2018 Share February 7, 2018 Moira uses a dot matrix printer. And does an incredible Burnadette Peters. “I’m glad he found someone stable” almost made me cry. 9 Link to comment

I love it that they add in that sort of tiny, specific detail and don't even bother calling any attention to it. So good. 1 6 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo February 15, 2018 Author Share February 15, 2018 I love that what finally got Moira riled upnwas not the rumor that she was dead or that her death wasn’t trending but that someone had the nerve to send pink carnations. Johnny’s exasperation over Roland’s Godfather/Casino/Marlon Brando ignorance was great. 4 Link to comment

Yeah - I don't like Roland either but I did crack up when I saw him pour the entire contents of the syrup dispenser on his chicken and waffles. You have to give it up to David and Alexis, some of their scenes are surprisingly sweet. This reminded me of an episode last season where (again, in the car) he chastised her for her past behavior of disappearing all the time and admitting to worrying about her. She just looked out the window and smiled at the thought of him caring about her. 7 Link to comment
jcin617 February 22, 2018 Share February 22, 2018 So I guess Mutt has just ceased to exist? Because all this talk about "what would happen to the baby if we died" and no one even mentioned the baby's adult brother? 1 2 12 Link to comment
iMonrey February 22, 2018 Share February 22, 2018 Yeah, I guess Mutt has sort of fallen off the grid after he and his girlfriend took off. Wonder if Alexis is still watering his plants at his barn house. Jocelyn did mention him - or at least referred to when she was pregnant with him - in the episode where she revealed her pregnancy. I loved how the death of the viral video kitten sort of made Moira's death old news. "What kind of kitten befriends a giraffe?" 7 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo February 23, 2018 Author Share February 23, 2018 I just assumed that Jocelyn thought Mutt was not a good choice to raise a baby if something happened to her and Roland. 4 Link to comment

Milburn Stone March 14, 2018 Share March 14, 2018 This was the first episode of the season that made laugh. I don't know if this is related, but I like Johnny better as the stronger character he now seems to be, rather than the put-upon, overwhelmed milquetoast he was. 1 1 3 Link to comment

He was pedal-to-the-metal wanting to get married ASAP, and she hadn't yet really adjusted to her new reality, nor had she even finished high school. Plus in all her adventures maybe she'd never dallied in hipster barn hookups? 4 Link to comment

"What kind of kitten befriends a giraffe?" I am 45 years old and have loved cats since I can remember and I have never, ever found a pet/animal death funny, especially a cat. However, I started losing it as soon as you could see Moira was like, um, obviously a giraffe is going to step on a kitten, and then when she hit that final line with such disdain for the kitten I lost it. I'm always impressed when someone can make me laugh at something I wouldn't normally find funny, and this took the cake. 5 Link to comment
