Hopefully there's enough to go around, and she's not wasting it on Mykelti's doomed before it starts marriage.

Right!  LOL    And doesn't she have other daughters?  What about when they get married?

Hate how the Kodster makes everything all about him. "I'm gonna be a grandpa" "Good thing I bought these houses". What an asshat. These people aren't married, they live separate lives and their kids are more like cousins than siblings. Where's FT? I miss yelling at my tv.

I'm glad that Christine got to hug Maddie before Robyn and squealing Aurora got there.

Any idea of the price on those watches?  Why does Caleb get one when it's not his birthday?  Another example of Maddie's favored status.

I think all of the older kids really love Meri.  Paedon jumped up to see Meri's expression when she heard the news.

I believe Tony was planted in prime position - right next to Cody.

Have I died of boredom yet? (Checking pulse) Nope still alive. This is like having teeth pulled. Albeit in a very boring way. Makes as much sense as these people.

If you switch back and forth between this, the football game and North Woods Law, it makes it a bit more tolerable.

Only watched a few min of it (during NFL playoffs half time) – Garrison’s homecoming was sweet.

But DAMN – Meri is no longer a part of that family – she doesn’t want to be + the kids/moms don’t really want her.  She goes on about how she would’ve liked to be at Garrison’s homecoming but she “missed” it and was just next door but he came home earlier than expected.  Um – you act like Garrison was home for 15 minutes.  From the looks of it, it took him like 30+ min to reunite with/hug all his siblings.  Plus Kody/Janelle were cooking dinner for the family, so I imagine once he had hugged everyone, they had a long, loud family dinner.  If you were a member of this family, Garrison would’ve said – hey where’s Meri? Or one of the moms/older kids would have texted – hey Garrison just got here, come over.  Clearly the older kids don’t care.  Clearly she isn’t BFF with Robyn anymore.

And BTW say you were supposed to come over at 9 pm and he arrived at 8 and no one told you – why didn’t you still come over at 9? Didn’t watch the episode yet, so IDK but usually military folks get leave for a few days/weeks – it didn’t seem like he came home for dinner with the family for one night and then was out the door.  If you cared, you could come later.  And isn’t Garrison one of the older kids (or at least middle) – if this is how she feels about the ones who were around when she was raising Mariah (he can only be 4-5 yrs younger than Mariah max), imagine how little she cares about the little ones.

The football game is worse.  Vikings are having a horrible game.

Kids move back home and those idiots want to make sure the kids have their own bathroom? I mean they moved out for a flat second.

Why am I trying to figure these people out. Everything is drama. Why the hell don't they move them into Meri's house?

Because has so much room, that would make too much sense.

Lol how the wives seem to be starting to not give a shit about Kody or what he thinks. New to me.

What does Kody do all day long?

Comb his hair.  Stroke the fuzz on his chin.  Watch some TV.  Belch.  Gel his hair.  Go pee.  Watch more TV while eating junk food.  Brush his hair. Think about sex. Watch more TV.

I'm sorry, but if you get married too young, drop behind your serious college-attending siblings, and then get knocked up unexpectedly, you don't get the right to move back home and force your brother(s) to use another bathroom.  Isn't Caleb thirty?  What have they been doing that they need help to "get back on their feet"?

For the same reason that Meri won't look after the other wive's kids. They are not her kids. Even though in a poly family they are suppose to be. But not with the Brown's.

I hope Christine isn't paying this music teacher. She sucks.  Christine sounds so bad.

Looks like Christine and Janelle are ok now with Sobyn taken position numero uno.

All Christine needs to do is drop an octave and she'd sound fine.  This is on the music teacher, and she deserves any resulting loss of business after this episode.

Anyone notice that when Meri was loving on Solomon, Kody deliberately distracted him?  Solly look!  Look Solly!  I think Kody is the problem in these adult relationships, and Meri would be perfectly fine if he were gone.  I haven't noticed any Meri/Janelle tension, and find they are even addressing each other more often.

And isn't it lovely how Kody took full credit for the watches, it was "his" gift, when you know all the coffers were tapped for that expensive gift.

Maybe it's because I was working on a PowerPoint as I watched this, but I thought it was kind of a cute episode. (Except Tony, of course. Everything he says and does is obnoxious and he's an ethnocentric jackass.)

There were a couple of moments with all four wives on the couch where they all genuinely seemed to be having a good time. Jenelle even appeared to legitimately crack up at one of Meri's jokes. Kody seemed truly (truley?) remorseful about his and Christine's depressing wedding now that he actually likes her. Aspyn is a nice and thoughtful sister, and she and Christine have hilarious rapport. I'm the farthest thing from a baby person, but Ari walking was cute. Garrison seems like a very sensible young man. Robyn barely annoyed me. The love stories gifts at Mykelti's shower was a great idea, and the wives' befuddlement at Fifty Shades of Violent Lady-Porn was endearing.

TEAM WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

Or didn't Meri see the TLC camera crew over at her next door neighbors house!? She must not have wanted to get paid for being in that segment!

Reminds you of when she had her nose in her phone 24/7 with Sam and didn't know anything going on around her.

So Kody and Robyn have been planning on moving the family back to Utah for a while. Christine is against it and I think Janelle is too but I'm not sure. Running from debts, uprooting the younger kids again. "We always planned on going back." That's not what you said when you moved. When the show ends, they will have no choice, so I guess they are setting up the inevitable.

Christine, about the shower dance: "It's a singingk, dancingk kind of thingk."

I grew up on a border town. We had pinatas for all occasions. I have never heard of a bride and groom pinata. And beating them in front of the guests is just WTF.

Good grief Janelle. There is no reason to keep empty rooms as shrines to your sons who have moved out. Keep one room for when they come home and convert the others as needed. IF Maddie and Caleb ever move out, change the rooms back.

Aspyn really is a pretty girl, and her lovely disposition makes her downright gorgeous.

I'm Mexican-American and I've never been to a wedding where there is a piñata, and certainly not a bride and groom piñata. Tony is just ratchet. The things he says and does are just ratchet.
