Mackenzie needs to let go of all the wedding stuff. It's over, you made a choice. Honestly. You  don't need a bachelor and bachelorette party. Just have a reception and be done with it.  They don't seem to have any connection whatsoever. Maybe planning these events is what keeps her distracted.

I also LOL'd about her EMBA on her wedding invite.

And new Matt really has down what he has to do to keep on the show. Flag scarf, preppy look, etc. Another one who looks like he is tolerating Amber but she is all over him. Ugh.

Just stop it, MacKenzie! Ryan was one swerve away from having that road look like something out of a Final Destination movie.  You were more annoyed that he was impaired rather than terrified that your life was in danger. Stop trying to push this narrative that you had no idea Ryan was an addict!

Let's see how much he can tolerate when the baby comes.

I'd also like to add my weekly "Amber is so fucking gross" post. Thank you!

Wow that's fucked up of them. And they just keep making Maci look better and better. Even though they addressed the wedding invite to Maci Bookout (not her married name) and Bentley only, Maci was still mature about it. Said she would just send the RSVP back letting them know she and Bentley would be there. I don't understand why they have to be such assholes to her. I see Mackenzie and Larry's handwriting all over this though. News flash Edwards family and Mackenzie, Maci is not the one that has done anything to anyone. Ryan's the one that's fucked up. Stop being assholes and, idk, try to appreciate that Maci and Taylor have taken such good care of Bentley all these years.

Yea, that's really messed up. Reminds me of when my father sent me a "congratulations" card when I got married....literally to just me. Wasn't addressed to my husband, his name wasn't mentioned anywhere. It was like I married myself! Haha! But I see Larry behind this, since he's got issues with Taylor, for sure.

It kind of pisses me off, for Ryan's sake, that Mack keeps making a big deal over all this "wedding" stuff. Girl, your man just "graduated early" from rehab. How about instead of putting him through one of the most stressful situations a relationship can go through, you accept the fact that the deed is done (even though he won't remember it) and focus on his sobriety?

That's very true. I never thought of it that way, but you are so right. It's too much for him. Regardless of the fact that they already had a wedding, wait til he's been good and sober for awhile before you plan your "do-over".

Also, hell no Matt didn't say "When you're done with your man, your husband is ready to come home." You KNOW that fucker calls himself "Daddy," not husband. YOU KNOW IT. I know it. We all know it. It keeps me up at night like that nun demon from The Conjuring.

Oh God, you're right. Now I have to go bathe.

When were the VMAs? Wasn't Matt working on Baby Mama #21 by then?

Tyler doesn't like the VMAs? Since when? Anyone else think that's weird that he missed out on the opportunity to put his stupid face out there some more? But, more importantly, who was Cate's friend??? That girl was asking Andrew some hard-hitting questions. Can we get her to host the reunions?

I thought the same thing about Tyler but then figured he realized he might get his "own" scenes without Cate.  Maybe he wanted more exposure of just himself?  That is the only reason I can see him passing up the royal treatment.

Agree 100% about the hard-hitting questions.   Girlfriend was on-point, AF.

To resuscitate a saying from about 15 years ago, watching the “Teen Mom OG” cast get fawned over at the VMAs, I thought, “This is why the terrorists hate us.”  Jesus! Of course, as viewers keeping this show on the air, I suppose we’re part of the problem....

While I don't think Ryan was high during the restaurant scene, I was reminded of this scene from Friends -

Quote

[Scene: Central Perk, Rachel is sitting at a table and Phoebe is on the couch. Chandler and Monica can be seen outside, she’s lecturing him, and pushes him inside. He then nods to Rachel, and is obviously counting off the seconds in his head and then Monica makes a grand enterance.]

Monica: Hi, Chandler. There you are.

Chandler: Hi, oh hi.

Monica: Hey, it’s Phoebe and Rachel. Um, why don’t you tell them what you were telling me earlier about me not being high maintenance?

(Rachel and Phoebe exchange looks.)

Chandler: (starts to recite a rehearsed speech) Monica is a self-sufficient, together lady. (Pause.) Being with her has been like being on a vacation. And what may be perceived as high maintenance is merely attention to detail and—(He falters and Monica prompts him.)—generosity of spirit.

Rachel: Wow, you know what? That is the best fake speech I think I’ve ever heard.

Phoebe: Really? I’ve heard better.

Monica: Wait, wait, he came up with that himself. Tell them, Chandler.

Chandler: (To Chandler) I’m out of words. Should I just say the whole thing again?

At one point when Ryan was speaking, I swear Mack was mouthing along with his words.

I suspect that Tyler did not want to go to California for several reasons. 1)Catelynn would be visiting “Boogietown” and he avoids the harder drugs. 2)He was worried about Butch. 3)He was worried that Butch would steal tools or items at new house to fund his drug addiction. 4)With Catelynn out of the house he can freely enjoy lots of gay porn. 5)To build his case that he is Nova’s primary caregivers when he files for divorce/custody.

Catelynn’s friend is her new drug buddy since she has distanced herself from dirtbag April.

Right? You had one job! Hysterical. None of these feebs can spell.

Leah breaks my heart. She's so sweet. Amber is a complete loser. I stand in awe of her absolute, complete loserdom. She thinks she's complex and troubled and fragile and brilliant and misunderstood, not that she's a trashy skank with tissue paper for brains and a Briana level thirst. I amuse myself sometimes by trying to decide who is the Worst of All in this franchise of the damned-but I think Amber is really the worst.

I agree. As much as Jenelle truly sucks, she seems to put her men on pedestals, but she doesn't seem to think SHE is some brilliant, tragic, wounded bird with a poetic soul and a fierce loyalty that only a goddess could muster. Amber sees herself as Marilyn Monroe, Sylvia Plath, etc. You can tell with all her "real woman" crap.

I wonder if Debra added the EMBA to the their $6.99 for 100 vistaprint.com invitations to balance out David’s “Dr.”  I have a few friends that married MDs and added their credentials to invitations, cards, address stamps too. Self-Esteem? Competition? Who knows.  I’ve seen it though.

Farrah really did her work and finally got baby Sophia to amp up the hate for her grandma. This is hard to watch. I remember when Farrah would go bat shit crazy and Sophia would cover her ears and say "stop fighting". Now she's a part of the lynching. Poor Debra. She's her own kind of crazy but why tolerate such disrespect even if it is your own daughter and spawn of a grandchild? I know it's easier said than done but SERIOUSLY this relationship will never be repaired.

I'm also disappointed in Michael and his partner. I guess in their minds, as long as she hasn't set her daggers on them then they're in the clear and will continue to encourage her that she IS in fact right in the way she acts. Farrah would never be that type of human if she had my mama! My mama would have smacked that crazy right out of her on 16 & pregnant.

But that’s just it. Debra DID smack Farrah around. We saw it on 16&P, and we saw it on Teen Mom. Farrah has a ton of resentment towards her mom and Debra does not at all acknowledge that she did anything wrong in parenting her. That’s the issue. That’s why Farrah is the way she is.

Debra is so annoying and embarrassing. Who the hell cares about your education unless you’re applying for a job. It’s a wedding invite you space cadet not a resume!!!!!

For Debra to invite the girl that tried to ATTACK her daughter on stage to her wedding was a giant FU to Farrah!! What mother does that? It’s not like you and Amber are that close to where “Farrah put me in a tough position to where I had to choose between my BFF Amber or my daughter!” It was done to hurt Farrah and that pisses me off. When Farrah tried to avoid acknowledging the fact that Amber was invited and quickly moved on to her real reason for being upset (her mom marrying David) Debra brought up Amber again hoping Farrah would get all pissy. Sick.

Yeah, that's the thing. Debra doesn't deserve respect because she is seriously unrespectable. Who the hell invites someone to their wedding who physically attacked their daughter on camera? (And honestly, Farrah was nicer about it than I would have been...) Farrah is seriously cray, but Jesus...I see why sometimes. That is some major rage/passive aggression/disordered behavior. It's one thing when Jenelle flagrantly disrespects Barb. Debra is NO Barb and IMO she deserves what she gets.

I've seen people put Dr. when they have an MD or PhD. IMHO adding "_____, PhD" or "_____, MD" is somehow worse than that for some reason. Dr. is like Mr. or Mrs...adding MD, PhD or MBA means you're just trying to show off. And adding EMBA means you're stupid, because as someone else pointed out, it's an MBA, just accelerated and usually doesn't require the GMAT. Debz OG is a real piece of work.

IMO an MD isn't any more important than any other degree. None belong on a wedding invitation.

Cosign this 1000% Academic and professional titles belong in germane academic and professional settings, and then they should be used sparingly. Doing otherwise just reeks of rank insecurity and look-at-me-ism. It's just like the doctors who wear their scrubs to the cocktail bar after work. We get it. You  are busy and important with no time to change. But you can be damn sure you would find the time to change your work clothes if they were in UPS brown or sported and Orkin patch on the front.

Been lurking on this board for a while and have been loving the snark. It's helped fill the void now that 90 Day Fiance is on hiatus. So many things about these people drive me crazy..since like 2009. However, today I have a bone to pick with Debz OG and her whole EMBA. As someone who managed EMBA programs, this drives me nuts. There is no such degree as an EMBA. The E stands for executive - as in the type of program she was in to earn her MBA. She could have also earned her MBA in a professional MBA program or a full-time program. Now matter the route you tale to an MBA, it's all just an MBA degree in the end.

Seriously, Debz, OG, if you are gong to flaunt your academic credentials (and I use the term loosely in her case) in all the wrong places, for the love of Christ, please get the name of your fucking degree correct.

Thanks, y'all.  I feel so much better now.

It could mean that I guess. I never worked for a uni that bothered to offer an online MBA. I may have given Debz OG too much credit for being able to swing herself into an executive program. But, most B-Schools are are hard up for enrollment these days.

Usually though EMBA means executive and PMBA means a professional program. Either way, it is ridiculous to write EMBA because the degree is still an MBA - whether online or in a face-to-face classroom environment. I have never seen anyone write that they have an EMS in Physicis or an EMFA in Creative Writing. You have an M.S. or an MFA regardless of the type of program you enrolled in to obtain your degree. Diplomas show the degree earned and the subject matter. They do not include program information as to how said degree was earned.

Yeah, like I'm ever going to understand anything about Debra.

I can't speak to every possible uni out there who offers a degree, but most schools offer three tiers of programs. EMBA programs are for older executive level students who are successful. These programs are accelerated - offered on weekends and maybe in a week long intensive every now and then. Students are catered to like executives - catered meals on class days with china settings and tablecloths, etc. The cost can easily be 100,00+ USD  for the program. Most students at this level have employers who foot the bill for their tuition.

PMBA programs are typically for younger working professionals who maybe are in lower to middle management. They got catered lunches too where I worked, but it was plasticware with no tablecloths. Their programs are also after work and on weekends, but take longer - up to two years. It is usually cheaper than the EMBA programs.

A full time program is usually the most competitive to get into for younger students who have some work experience and excellent GMAT scores and other interesting elements to their backgrounds. This group has the students that get recruited by the big finance and consulting and industrial companies that might put them on fast track to success, but have them working 70+ hours a week.

The diplomas all look the same for these students. Details about the type of program they did would only be revealed on a resume or in an interview.  ie keeping a full time job and getting an MBA on the side means an EMBA or PMBA program. If you are the VP for product development in a company, it probably means you got your degree through an EMBA program.

I think you are right that Debra thinks it sound better to say EMBA.  As for the bold part - totally agree. She is just the incomprehensible crazy that keeps on giving and giving.

Used to do content writing full time for a business school. An EMBA is just an accelerated MBA, and usually it's for older adults who already have some work experience so they don't want to take the GMAT or don't have recent undergraduate grades available. It might be low residency or on weekends, or distance learning, but it doesn't usually affect the reputation either way (sometimes it's high, sometimes it's low)...it's more about how it's delivered, as others have said. Usually it's offered in more nontraditional formats, like short term intensives, summers, etc., but it can also just be a slightly different kind of program than the ones aimed at just-out-of-undergrad folks (like more focused on networking than coursework). Either way, it's freaking stupid. Putting EMBA after your NAME would be like writing "Debra Danielsen, Tuesday and Saturday Afternoon MA in History" because your grad seminars were on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
