Maci wants Ryan to pass a drug test before he can see Bentley. Farrah travels abroad for work and leaves Sophia in Michael’s care. Catelynn and Tyler launch their kids clothing line but run into issues. Amber and Matt try to save their relationship.

I need a gif of Befuddled Tyler during his conversation with Catelynn as the website crashed. I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed so hard at this show. He was just SILENT (and you know that’s a feat itself) since she said something supportive but in a really hostile tone and he didn’t know how to respond.

Leah is the sweetest. Bentley is also the sweetest. And Sophia was pretty cute hiding the note in Farrah’s suitcase. But the number of times they had to talk about how she wouldn’t play hide and seek while Farrah was gone was TOO MANY. There’s a story there.

Catelynn you’ve been on TV too long to be pulling some of the faces you did tonight. Yikes...

Cate didn't go to the stables because the website crashed! Now they were cyber attacked! Call the FBI!

Did anyone else think when Tyler started talking about the call he got saying their website was attacked that he was going to go on and tell a story about how he paid the person on the phone hundreds of dollars to fix it like one of those scams?

I mean, I guess he did essentially do that, but I thought it would end up with the phone person taking control of his computer and holding it hostage.

Farrah was normal. Again.

All the stuff with Ryan is actually kind of sad.

Cate and Tyler are having panic attacks because they’ve put all their money into clothing designs for kids with a crashing website. Also Cate is good at packing clothes!

Amber.. ugh. Poor Leah.

It is hard being parents of a drug addict.  I do feel sorry for Larry and Jen.  You worry about your kids non stop.  It is never ending.  Having said that, Maci is doing the right thing.  Ryan has to earn trust back.  It's not a given.  Cate and Tyler and that website.  OY.  Try to pull up anything "tierra reign" (or whatever the hell it's called) and nothing loads.  During Christmas time ....  Huh.

Sophia looks like the unhappiest kid on the planet.  Glitter marijuana leaf indeed.  I wish Farrah didn't think she had to do porn.  Debra's shiny, plastic face, horrible extensions, and that 1960's mod-hat.  Yeah, uh, about that .... Her male friend out-of-nowhere needs to say something to her.

I’ve looked at all the girls- tm2 includes- fashion websites and yeah.. they’re all.. nothing spectacular. Anyways.

The stuff with Ryan and Maci doesn’t make me like anyone there. I dislike Maci, I dislike ryan, I dislike Maxkienzine, etc.

The stuff with Farrah makes me sad for her. The scene where she started to cry in the restaurant was sad. Debra refuses to acknowledge that she hurt Farrah and I’ve said t before, I think Farrah jumped the gun by calling the police and causing it to be something it didn’t need to be but Debra refuses to even believe she has problems in her behavior. I don’t quite understand how they could have a relationship when Debra refuses to believe her faults as well.

Tyler watching his 6-outfit site crash was ridiculous. He's so dumb, envisioning himself as some kind of mogul. The website crashes so they decide to go out for a drive, of course.

What business could Farrah possibly be conducting overseas ?

Debra, your hair is too long and ratty. She should look for style tips from Jen. Jen's hair is cute and age appropriate,  and she dresses ok.

I liked Larry's speech about how they ? Ryan and will always be there for him. Sadly, I think rehab usually takes a few tries before progress is made.

I am with you @WhosThatGirl

Sure Ryan needs to gain trust with people, but Maci knew since 2012 Ryan had a drug issue. He went to rehab  five years ago for Christ's sake! She did nothing to protect her child. Only now that Ryan put his drug addiction out there (via driving while under the influence on camera) did Maci step up and start putting on the appearance that she needs to hold Ryan accountable and she will protect her child. It keeps her from having to answer about the previous five years of her enabling Ryan and not putting him on check with the courts. She had her own selfish needs to keep things on the down low such as keeping Jen and Larry as her babysitters. As for Larry and Jen, yeah, being parents of a drug addict has to be one of the hardest things to deal with, however, they stood around enabling him, coddling him, and being the replacements for Ryan when he couldn't do his fatherly duties. And now, it seems they continue to enable him. They are where they are at right now because they didn't put the kibosh on Ryan long ago.

How does Ryan afford a house like that ? I thought he was in some crap apartment.

Tyler and Catelynn make me laugh. They really do think very high of themselves. Tyler trying to say he joked on the phone about being a reality star - im sure he was totally serious on the phone lol.

Ryan is a joke. Step up and figure it out if you wanna spend time with your son.

Per Ryan's call with the attorney, they've never been to court and he has no set visitation with Bentley. Maci has 100% legal & physical custody, what more could she have done to protect Bentley?

I'm sorry, but i have a hard time thinking Maci should've known the extent of Ryan's drug issues when his own family & girlfriend allowed him to be filmed on a tv show. Heck, i gasped when he said heroin. Now she's doing what she can to further protect Bentley and she's still getting flack?

Maci went to mediation regarding child support when Ryan wasn't paying. She sat with the attorney and balked at Ryan being allowed one extra day of visitation. It may have only gone to mediation, but there was some sort of visitation in place. Someone posted the info just last week when that was brought up.

What Maci could have done is gone to court and requested no visitation take place unless it was SUPERVISED visitation and court-ordered drug testing. If he pissed dirty, he answers to the court and any visitation is denied.

I sympathize with Jenn and Larry in regards to confronting Ryan about his drug problem. What could they really do since they legally can't force him to get help?

No one can force anyone into treatment. But they could have stopped the enabling long ago. It isn't an easy thing to do, but that is the one thing family and others are told when dealing with an addict. In fact, Maci was told just that when she talked to the specialist on the phone last season.

Do Ryan’s folks really have that kind of money? I always thought they had a decent amount but nothing too extravagant.

I guess the property could be a vacation home they own if they paid off their primary home. I can’t imagine they’d spend the kind of money to buy or rent that place for Ryan. It looked like an amazing piece of property. Probably my favorite I’ve seen in this franchise. I was legitimately jealous. And they already have a pretty nice home. Why not have him live there? Mac may play a role in their thoughts I guess but if they’re paying for that it has to be a small fortune.

Ryan's house COULD be a rental. Some of these people pay lots of money each month to lease cars so I could see it happening. Many of these celebrities go out to LA and "buy" over-the-top mansions when, in actuality, they're renting them. Chattanooga prices aren't terrible. He could be paying $2,000-3,000 per month and his TM money would cover it. However, it won't cover it for long. None of these people are good with money but the ones who have reasonable homes (Maci, for one, even though I don't like to give her credit) are smarter about it.

In an attempt to look "uppa class", my aunt rented a mansion in a nearby town a few years ago. It cost $1.2 million to buy but it had been on the market for so long that they rented it out. No way could she get approved for a mortgage for it or even put down a down-payment but she could afford the rent at $2,200 a month (she went in with another family member).

When they kept showing Jeni's red eyes and blinking back tears reactions to Larry's monologue, it reminded me of William Hurt's reaction shots in "Broadcast News."

And then I remember how we all understood that was horrifying for Holly Hunter's character, and how far we've gone downhill from there.

Yeah I guess I just assume that Ryan's house is a rental. He wasn't living there before all this, was he? Then he and Mack had their stoned, hurry up wedding and he goes to rehab. There's a child involved (Mack's) so I could see Jen and Larry and possibly Mack's parents splitting rent on something that was move in ready with all that was going on. I don't think they own it.

The Edwards and Mack allowed Ryan to film this tv show? Ryan is not a minor. He is an adult. A druggie, but nonetheless, he is an adult. I have no clue what that has to do with St. Maci of Bud Light and what her duties are as a parent to the child she shares with Ryan.  IMO the first time Maci was aware there was a drug problem is when she should have gotten her ass in gear. Not sit around and wait to see to what extent his drug problem is. If someone is doing illegal drugs, that is a problem.

As for court, Maci did take Ryan to court when he failed to pay child support. I believe he had missed two payments. During the process, a visitation schedule was set up, but I don't believe it was signed by a judge. It was an informal visitation. I recall Maci was quite upset at Ryan being given an additional day to his schedule. All of this happened during the time Maci was living with Kyle King. http://starcasm.net/archives/66239

Did you notice Larry talked about Ryan’s “thirty” days in rehab?  Oh boy, still in denial.  It was 21 days, and he left early.  Plus, he certainly sounded defensive about whether he and Jen knew about Ryan’s addiction.  I’m sure they got a lot of flak for their enabling.

I sure did. That is why Maci is acting as if she was in the dark because she doesn't want the same flak coming her way. Ryan's ex, Dalis, revealed in an interview about his rehab stint in 2012, a story Jen denied. Jen and Larry were trying to cover up his problem as they were in major denial. They still are. Ryan has no chance with all of these enablers in his life. He is not about to walk away from them either.

Know so very little about drug and addictions but you don't come home from rehab (no real after care) and he tells the friend it's sorta tough going through the withdrawals but it hadn't been too bad yet. WTH ?  I thought you went through days or horrendous withdrawal in rehab  for several days often helped with drugs under medical assistance.

His eyes are wide open not half massed like before , and good for dad for being able to understand him because I can't!

Love the clothes descriptions.

Yup.  And it’s heroin.  That’s the hardest drug to get over, and one with the highest relapse rate.  Bad news for Ryan.  The phone call with the lawyer was also a bad sign.  Ryan seems to think that simply because he’s a father, the judge will automatically grant him visitation.  When the lawyer mentioned showing the judge a clean drug screen, that was one long, uncomfortable moment of silence...

Definitely bad news.

It seems obvious that call to the lawyer was all Mack's idea. Ryan never cared enough to want to visit with Bentley. The times he did bring up visitation, it was more than likely at the behest of his parents. So many scenes over the seasons where we heard Larry tell Ryan to go to court and finalize the visitation order, but Ryan declined. Now with Mack in the picture, she is the one prodding Ryan to step-up and make that call.

The first week of withdrawals are bad. Since he was in a medical facility then I am assuming they helped him out with some xanax or valium. I've been through withdrawal a few times (never from heroin but withdrawal from benzos or even high levels of oxycodone are comparable). I did it cold turkey 3 times and then had to pay a visit to the ER for the forth. It's fucking awful.

If he had medical care then he's right, the withdrawals probably weren't that bad. Once I got help for it, it was fine. However, there's another part that people rarely talk about: PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome). This occurs several weeks (and even months)after quitting. And it can be hell. Although the first few days are bad with the diarrhea, body aches, racing heart, dizziness, vomiting, restless leg syndrome, headaches, depression, and anxiety, PAWS is its own kind of hell.

Drug testing Ryan for visitation is good, but how quickly do results come back?

You can get same day ones. As a chronic pain patient, I have random ones all the time. For certain tests, they know within the hour.
