How much sniping between the brothers Gallagher happened because Liam was on the show first? Hee. And a giant LOL at Jack Black confusing them.

Kevin Hart completely dominated the sofa once he was on, didn't he?

When Jack Black was singing his theme song, it reminded me of a friend who judged theme music (not a song) of a movie successful if she could sing the title with it. She could do it more than you might expect.

I was disappointed Big Red Chair Linda wasn't in HR. Or maybe that's just a US Linda thing? (/Kimmy Schmidt reference)

At least it drowned out Rebel for a while.  Not for lack of trying on her part.

I noticed they added sections to the couch, so that 7 people could sit on it without being in each other's laps. Had to be done, given all the couch-filling TGNS does these days.

No, that was Graham. Jack was trying to cover his embarrassment. 

As a person who has estranged relatives, I feel for the Gallagher brothers. They can't go anywhere without people poking at them about the other. I can't imagine that makes any of it easier to manage.

Yeah, Graham made the initial (rare) mistake. I loved how everyone on that couch suddenly put on a very serious face - the Gallagher feud is nothing to joke about!

 It's possible I just missed it, but what Gallagher brothers thing?  Also, who are the Gallagher brothers? (Not the most pop culturally savvy one out there!)

The Gallagher brothers were the main force behind Oasis, considered one of the most important Britpop bands of the 90's. Besides their massive hits (Wonderwall) Oasis became also famous/notorious for the constant fights between the two brothers. The band split up 2009 - the feud rages on.

Wow, I’m surprised there was enough oxygen left around the couch that Jessica Chastain and Dawn French were able to survive.  That was a LOT of people who think they are VERY clever.

i thought jessica chasten was pretty bad herself. the story she told in the beginning about "italian" was horrible and borderline offensive and it made her out to be as big a blowhard as the rest of the couch. i didn't thing dawn french was so bad. but what a couch full of typical "look at me" actors. ugh. i usually like the hamminess of the rock but this atmosphere  was just too much.

Yeah, I didn't think Jessica Chastain was interesting or entertaining at all. OTOH, I thought Rebel Wilson was much better than usual.

I enjoyed the banter and teasing betw The Rock and Kevin Hart, who was much funnier here than on SNL. I felt a little sorry for Jack Black who seemed like a third wheel. I liked when Graham turned the conversation to him, and he said he was finally getting to talk.

I don’t like Jessica Chastain on talk shows. She comes off to me as very “on”, like Anne Hathaway. Inauthentic and try-hard. And fwiw, I find her acting very cold and mechanical. Not a fan.

It sounds like most of you thought Rebel was less attention-seeking than she usually is. It didn’t seem so to me. YMMV. 

It cracks me up what a Manchester City fan Noel Gallagher is.

I found that muting the sound while the men on the couch were talking improved my viewing experience tremendously.
