Or has she already and I missed it?

I want Alberti to present it! 🤣

JK, I don't want him to model it, just want to see what he'd say about it.

I'm so sick of Jane's crap about buying a shoe in 3 or 4 different colors.

Is this suppose to boost sales? Q customers may feel comfortable budgeting for one pair.  It's condescending and elitist.

totally agree,  have come around to Kim as a vendor and self host, she is very good at it,

but her stuff is (at the risk of sounding snotty) like much of what Q sells stuff I can find at Marshalls at half the prices,  other than the extended size ranges

Agree, just posted on another thread, the fashion prices are totally out of line with what I can get at TJ Maxx and other local brick and mortar stores.

She’s had better hair days, that’s for sure, but I think she’s looking better than IM. It’s like he doesn’t even try.

IMO he does need to...he’s on national television and it’s sort of disrespectful to customers/viewers. Of course, some will buy no matter, but I’d prefer to buy from someone who doesn’t look like he rolled out of bed. Lot of people work from home on Zoom, but they still manage to put together a professional appearance. IM struggled with that before Covid, though.

Kim Gravel looks so good tonight!  I bet she has good lighting in her place.  It was cute — she just demonstrated a pageant walk for Courtney!  Funny!

I also think Clark's Amy looked so nice every time she was on today. She seemed relaxed, professional and in her happy place. Good lighting too.

David’s “recipe” today... peach hand pies. Made from a rolled out supermarket biscuit, a spoonful of cream cheese and some peach pie filling. Is that even a recipe? He managed to fold it and egg wash it but was cack handed in doing so. There is no way this guy is writing cook books. Total scam.

Once I saw it was hand pies I had the thought, "@Burly is going to have something to say about this."

Personally, I think they'd like to do away with the recipe demo segment but they know there would be an uproar so they are keeping the segment as short and simple as they possibly can.

What they really should do is devote 30-60 minutes to actually preparing and cooking something using all branded stuff for sale and mention them:

These are Rastelli steaks.....I'm using Zakharian knives, Kuhn Rikon chopper, Temptations bowls, Rachael Ray spices, Mad Hungry spurtle etc.....

Problem is.....I don't think he could do it.

I just don’t get the David worship. I mean, what kind of people buy matching t-shirts with David’s sayings on them, and wear them together so they can feel close to David.  And I’ve looked through his cookbooks and his recipes are beyond simple.  When I was still teaching, my special education kids prepared more complex dishes.

I know David says he’s not a chef, but a home cook.  I don’t think he even qualifies for that.

To me, Kim Gravel has become unwatchable.  Why does she and the show hosts have to yell, scream and laugh like hyenas?  After a few minutes, I have to turn it off.  When she was on last night with Coko, it sounded like a cackle fest.

Happy Dance wines, the OAP says “when folk ask me if they’ll like these wines I say if you like the recipes in David’s cookbooks you’ll love these. They’re David’s taste”.

Thousands of old dears reach for the phone...

Its  borderline exploitation.

Isn't this pretty much what Stacey Stauffer was doing on Q2 for a while on a show she hosted?  Look how that turned out.

That being said, it would probably work in the new Q2 environment of having OAPs doing their own shows.  For example, have Ray Rastelli selling his wares while Aaron McCargo is preparing them using Cooks' Essentials products.

This kitchen set is a disaster.

It's cluttered and claustrophobic.

David stumbles and bumbles and waddles from one inane location to another.

It was smoother, cleaner and more professional when the set ups were merely wheeled in and out.

A moron came up with this (in my opinion. )  A complete failure.

When Tara presented a wooden tray-board thingie, David informed us that his new cookbook has a “recipe” for a “nibbling board.” Not a charcuterie board, he quickly added, but a nibbling board, filled with things you can nibble on. First of all, a recipe? And, if he’s not doing charcuterie, what do you want to bet the “recipe” for the nibbling board involves potato chips, Cheetos, and a big ol’ cup of onion dip?

I’ve long thought that a relaxed, casual demonstration of making something in the aspirational kitchen,or wandering round the aspirational house while flashing up on screen the details of the products would be preferable. But you can bet your life if it generated more sales, they would be all over it.

In other words, go to the store, buy a bunch of premade stuff, throw it all together and * Voila! * you have your dinner!

I chuckled when I saw the Creamy Corn off the Cob as a recipe.  Where I come from, that's called creamed corn.  I'm not really sure he needs to tell us how to open this can and heat it up on the stove!

Go git me my Temptations platter!  The patriotic Scarecrow shaped one!

David says slice up the salami we got from that foreign sounding name guy and whip up Tara's dips and all!

Open up them Germack nuts I've been saving with the popcorn and all and we spread it out on the tray real nice and all.  Mary would like it.

Real Fancy Vern! Just like David said!

Jen’s hair really does look odd, especially on a hair TSV day.

It looks like it’s too much product or too much use of a styling device, or both.

Is all the hair natural?

That hair on Jenn seems to be the style, and I don’t think it’s attractive.  So many of our local reporters have that look which looks stiff and over processed. It looks like if you grabbed Jenn’s hair and bent it in half, it would break off like a stalk of hay.  It’s not a healthy hair look.
