I’m thinking there are separate forums for discussing the two networks. There’s a Q forum a little further down. This one is for hosts in general.

I like that there’s a separate Lisa forum. I didn’t watch much during her Q tenure, so I mostly scroll past posts about her.

@Stacey1014 is correct.  There is a thread for QVC and a thread for HSN.  Those threads are to discuss things like.. 1) I really love the Christmas in July programming and/or 2) I wish they had more cleaning gadget shows than makeup shows etc.

I notice The Shittish was taken out for breakfast for a bagel by the Consultant.  Of course, she had a video of her chomping on it sans makeup (she actually looks better without all that troweled on crap) and wearing her Pebbles hair.

There was the usual gushing by her sycophants, but my favorite comment was, "Don't you ever wear makeup or fix your hair when you go out?"  This intelligent person was instantly jumped on.

Then she posted some bizarre video of her "flying" or something.  I'm not sure if she was in a zero gravity chamber or what.  There was some guy holding her up and she still freaked out.  Strange.

The return of Humblebragisms! I watched a few of HB’s videos from this morning, and he was in rare form. 

Selling Catawba Comfort Socks:

“Is anyone old enough to remember tube socks? Well, nobody’s foot is shaped like a tube.”

There were several color sets. The OAP showed one set with pairs of white, grey, and pink socks. HB: “That’s the ‘leave your hands off my socks’ set.”

“The socks don’t fall down. For me, that is a big, big issue.”

Selling an electronics charging hub:

“Think about this. Building codes in America have not changed since about 1964. We have the same number of electrical outlets that we did in my parents’ day. This was way prior to the invention of cell phones, portable electronics, tablets, bluetooth speakers, ekcetera, ekcetera, ekcetera.” (Yep, that’s how he pronounces it - “ekcetra.”)

You can customize the top of the charging hub with a photo. The OAP had a picture of her daughter and cat in the top of the charging hub. HB: “I just have to ask - what kind of cat is that? That is not a normal sized cat.”

Selling a flashlight with Sean Pickford: 

“I asked Sean Pickford to come in this morning.” (Yeah, I’ll just bet that you set the schedule of products and OAPs...)

“It’s a gift that will be appreciated by the guys and also the ladies. But for some reason, us guys gravitate towards cool flashlights.”

About the magnet feature of the flashlight: “Sean and I, our therapy is working on cars. Man, every time I’m underneath the hood, I will drop something in the perfect spot or the perfect slot where my fat fingers can’t get in there to retrieve it.”

“Personally, I’m a big, big proponent of being prepared for virtually anything.” 

Showing the flashlight sticking directly to the car because of the magnet: “You’re not having to hold the flashlight in your armpit or your teeth.”

Unless Feh is on a Logo show, I normally can't watch her. Everything is a search for the perfect word - such a production. I can't watch her eat on the food shows without providing a MST3K running commentary of my own; she's too over the top.

ETA: Every time I see Carolyn posing for the monitor, I have to laugh.

Ugh oh.....I just got an email from Barefoot Dreams (please don't hate...I've bought a couple of their items, direct from them, for baby gifts - they have some darling children's items and when on sale, doubly nice!).  Anyhow......they made Oprah's Favorite Things list for 2017.  Some sort of pajama set.

1. You know we'll hear about this when Shawn comes on.  And we'll hear it over and over!
2. Who even cares about Oprah's Favorite Things?  I mean, isn't that sort of old school now?  Are her "things" still a "thing"?

**As we've said before, more like a disincentive to purchase if Oprah is attached!

A caller recently asked Sharon what her secret was to keeping in shape for a food show.  You would have thought Feh was an Olympian in training by her response:  "I hydrate myself constantly beforehand and eat a lot of salads that day....."  But she does more talking than eating during Gourmet Holiday (as opposed to Wheels, who was gulping down the Farmer Jon's popcorn yesterday like there was no tomorrow)  Sharon really is a legend in her own mind.
