I find this couple tiresome. Between The Coven, her Fred Flinstone father, the affected pronunciation of Andrrrrrei, dom/sub speculation, Andrei the Brute, strippers, rules, penis tiaras, clubs...I’m so done.  Lippy, Andrrrei, and her awful family need to just get off my lawn!

Oh, and I forgot to add badly applied lipstick!

Wait.  Is that dark haired sister the now blonde with the bangs?  WTF??  Did dad take that $17K he was behind on child support and pay for the ladies of his family to have make overs before filming?  Se

Yes, apparently Becky was a brunette when she had her run-in with the law in 2008, now she's blonde and possibly had a nose job. But I don't think Daddy paid for her makeover, since her husband is supposedly quite "successful".

Given that Daddy seems NOT high-class, makes me wonder what his definition of "successful" is.

Big deal - they drive Mercedes.  So do a lot of litigants on Judge Judy; they are 1997 Mercedes in terrible shape, but the litigants always let people know that it's a Mercedes, not just a car:  "I had my MERCEDES in my driveway on concrete blocks, and this drunk guy with no insurance ran into it.  I need $5,000 to fix it."  KBB value is $1,450.  Guess how much they get?

Plus, I've always felt that a lot of interior shooting for reality shows is done at Air B&B places (not in their real homes) . . . so it could be that Dad's idea of "successful" is that they live in non-Section-8 apartments.

All that I've seen of these women is that they can "successfully" apply too much make-up, which still doesn't cover their low-class behavior.

My experience with people that are very financially successful, the kind that can well afford big homes, expensive vacations, Mercedes' is that they tend not to have to talk about how successful they are since it's quite apparent. The people who live in big homes, drive luxury cars etc...and yak about it are the ones who are in way over their heads and in mortgage prison. I happen to know someone who is extremely wealthy and lives in one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in Toronto. He and his family have the very best of everything, great house in the downtown, original pieces of art worth 10's of thousands, they ski in Switzerland, expensive private schools for the kids... but he never goes on and on and on about it. I could not see he or his wife, or his kids (now that they're young adults) being as low class and trashy as Libby's father or her "successful" sisters.

That's so true.  It works in other situations, too.  I had a coworker who would go on and on about what a prince her husband was.  Turns out he was a jobless, porn addicted, abuser.  So sad.  These big talkers are overcompensating for their shortcomings.  Libby's dad needs to be thankful a nice guy like Andrei came along and is willing to be a part of that trash!!  He and his son are total douches along with some of the sisters.  I really hated the SIL, too.  Maybe Andrei should have a talk with him about what it is to be a real successful man!!

Maybe his idea of his son-in-laws' success is that they have been able to avoid arrest records and mug shots? Besides driving Mercedes, they all play golf, which Daddy probably considers the ultimate display of wealth and class. I just wonder about his (at least) six kids, especially the daughters, and whether or not any of them have gotten an "edumacation."

And someone needs to inform him that all the money in the world can not buy class. Something tells me his (and his sons) idea of art would be "Dogs Playing Poker" and a velvet Elvis, which would compliment his ill fitting Walmart clothes and ball cap.

BTW, nothing wrong with Walmart clothes unless you happen to be a judgmental prick about the success of other people.

I doubt if he even has money, just lots of debt from trying to appear that he's wealthy. Avoiding child support is a big red flag to me. Maybe he can't afford Libby's wedding and that's why he's shifting the blame onto Andrei with the flimsy excuse that he didn't properly "ask for her hand in marriage."

I think you're spot on with that observation!

There’s a problem with Elizabeth’s unflattering, center parted, long, straight hair style. That problem is that she doesn’t ever bother washing her hair so it looks filthy and greasy all the time. She looks filthy walking into the wedding venue. Classy, Liz.

ETA: Andrei looks soooo much better with his bangs swept to the side.

No kidding. Then she flat irons it, which exacerbates the problem. That's what dry shampoo and scrunching up hair into a messy cool do are about.

Jesus, Jen's dress is about to fall off! They have strapless bras, lady!

Both of SistersElizabeth were dressed like it was their bachelorette party.

One had the top half of her boobs popping out & the other one was in a one shouldered super shiny mini dress.

I thought Libby looked gorgeous at the wedding and Andrei looked like the cat who got the cream, he was beaming all over his face. Out of all the couples I've ever seen on all seasons of 90DF, they seem the ones who are most genuinely in love.

I'm 100% convinced their relationship is based on kink/BDSM/dominance/submission, but what the hell, it seems to work for them. I think he will be a good husband, a hard worker, ambitious and intelligent. I think in ten years' time he'll be a very successful man.

Agree. There's something so adorable about a macho man like Adreiiii getting excited and a little teary eyed at his wedding. Very endearing

Agreed. I can't even hate. It seems to work for them. I'm convinced they were too normal/happy for this show, so producers had to stir it up with stupid storylines about her sisters and submissiveness. I did absolutely love how Andrei didn't show any nervousness about meeting her family, or the visa process. Whenever she asked if he was nervous, he was like, "No, don't worry about it." I did also like that when she was objecting to his objection about going to clubs, he seemed to hold himself to the same standard. Some of what he says about women and relationships gives me pause, but whatever, I'm not the one marrying him.

They remind me of Russ/Paola and Chantel/Pedro in that they seem to want to rip each others' clothes off constantly. A strong physical connection.

Yea, I noticed most of the couples were sitting and holding onto each other in some kind of way, perhaps production instructed them to, but Andrei kept his arm over Elizabeth's thighs, which I thought was a pretty dominating/racy move :P

I thought their venue looked nice, especially the way it was set for dinner. Liked, too, that whoever did her make up opted for brick red instead of flaming red lips. Thought she looked great. It was sad to watch him getting ready all by himself, but he didn't seem to mind. That boy was happy.

I never got that vibe from Paola at all. She was always smirking and seemed like she was doing the minimum required wife wise to continue having Russ fund her ( sad) attempt at starting her modeling cahreeare.

And looking good. I really liked his suit. And how sweet was it that he gave the dog a nice pat before heading out?

I felt badly he had no one for him but noticed the family/friends sat on both sides to fill up evenly, which was great.

Given it was FL outside like that I kept wondering if they keep a watch around the place for gators & big snakes.

Gators usually don't target grown adults who are on land as snacks. I lived in Florida for many moons and the only land attack that I can recall was a woman in Naples who was pulling weeds in her bushes and the gator chomped her arm. Now a small child or dog would be a different matter and I headed many tales of adults swimming in bodies of fresh water and being eaten. I see gators often - one of my friends has one that suns itself in her backyard along a canal, I see loads of them on the golf course that my Mom lives on. As long as it isn't mating season you just give them a wide berth and go along your way.

Now back to the show. I'll bet that Andrei and Libby have the best sex life of all of the 90 days couples.

That was interesting, but being fatigued I was trying to make the connection between the gators & the sex life comment & was momentarily confused.  LOL

I think the connection is that even grown adults shouldn't have sex in their back yard or on a nearby golf course if there might be gators.  That's all I've got.  LOL.

Maybe it's that Elizabeth only wants to have sex in ice castles on the top of mountains, and no gators will make it up the cold and slippery incline?

I'm sure it was just to stay on topic LOL, & a random comment (that's probably true!). The fact that my brain was actually trying to make a connection there & got confused was enough to make me close up for the night.

After the cameras are gone and the spouse is legal with a green card and all and jobs are found and life is normal I feel like these couples may get very bored of each other.  They have no more obstacles to obsess over, no count downs to fixate on, no drama, no wedding plans to make and no more travelling to see each other...what is there left to talk about?  In my opinion these people thrive on the attention (even without cameras rolling) and drama in their lives.

Like their whole life has been a bit dramatic just going to the mall and finding a parking place can end in tears.

The producers must look for a certain personality type, I wonder if they consult with a psychologist before they cast?

I hate the way Elizabeth says Andrei. It makes me crazy. Also, someone posted somewhere in these forums that Elizabeth gets this sort of Mr. Bill look on her face sometimes because of the overdone, dark lipstick and I just about died reading that and continue to laugh as I type this.

Andrei throws too many red flags for me that scream possessive and jealous. She seems afraid of him and used the words "intimidated" and that she worries about his temper. That's not good. The fact that Elizabeth's father offered to pay for trucking school for him and he declined at first seemed to me to be a guy who wanted to do it on his own without owing anyone but after further reflection on that scene, I think it had more to do with isolating Elizabeth from her family and adopting a "you and me against the world type thing" which will make Elizabeth not reach out or lean on her family when times get tough because Andrei says not to. There is also the obvious to not enrolling in school now: He gets a few more months of playing games and chilling at home while Elizabeth works. His lack of doing anything while she stresses about being the breadwinner, to me shows that he cares little for how she feels and it's all about him. If he doesn't want to go to school, buy a fucking truck driving book or something so that when you begin the formal schooling, you are ahead of the game going in. Seems even that is too much.

Holy crap--- was I the only one who didn't know that Elizabeth played a small role in the series Homeland in 2011????

I am re-watching season one and she is the checkout person in a grocery store in the scene where Brody is trying to figure out what Vitamin Water is!!  I saw her face and immediately had to google her last name and then check IMDB - and boom  there she is-

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4789790/?ref_=nv_sr_1

-- imdb also reveals she is currently acting in an upcoming film called "Be Still & Know" - in a lead role

Anyone watching them on Pillow Talk?  I don't care for them at all, mainly due to him, but, she is a piece of work too.  I don't get the feeling much has changed with them.  Another couple who appear to be disgruntled.
