I find the characters compelling--not admirable, but intriguing.

I am interested to see where the show is going.  I still like to goof on it though!

I must be in the minority, but I have grown to look forward to this show. I find the characters compelling--not admirable, but intriguing. I like the look of the show, especially the contrast with TWD.

I'm with you on this one. the first two episodes of the season were well thought out and well paced, it dropped a little in the middle but it delivered in the end. It's quite a different show to TWD and i think that may be why many are down on it, but overall, the writing and characterisation are more accomplished.  In TWD the writers rely quite frequently on having the characters do things that are out of character or just plain stupid in order to drive the plot and create conflict / danger.  In FTWD the characters are much more consistent in their actions and they make better decisions. compare where they are with FTWD with where TWD was after a couple of seasons. Two words: Herschel's Farm. does anyone seriously want to argue that this season isn't  streets ahead of that narrative quagmire?

anyway, back to the speculation, it looks like the plot is going to hinge on them running out of water, which is odd because i'm sure we saw Alicia jump into a lake full of the stuff a while back but never mind, no prizes for guessing where that will lead them to given that one of their erstwhile companions has a whole reservoir at his disposal

An alliance with Walker is the commons sense way to go, but Troy needs to suffer an unfortunate accident next time he's off on a hunting trip, he'll feck everything up for them for sure.

Table for three, then.  I'm looking forward to this show, too.  But then, I've always liked it, and had little lurve for most people's favorite characters (including Strand!!!).  Just call me contrarian already.  ;-)

I'm still pissed about Travis, one of my TV husbands is gone.

There's a vacancy, hey Walker!

I am so not ready for this show to return, and in no less than a two-hour block yet.  Good god.

SAME.

It's not that I haven't come to enjoy this goofy little show--it's that this two-hour extravaganza completely snuck up on me and I just wasn't psychologically prepared to spend Sunday night hunched over my laptop, snarking on the 'lil Dickens.

I know, I know, a nice pungent cheese to go with my whine.

My computer is running a scan which is slowing it down.  82% done.

Who's this cranky guy?  I started late.  NM, I'm sure I'll catch up.

Did he say Gretchen?

Oh, my dog as to pee.  Commercial!

I think? she was the blonde teen girl who introduced Alicia to smoking pot with severed head Geoffrey?  She and her family were all found turned after they tried to make a run for it from the compound.  I think? Troy killed them to pin it on Walker's people.

I'm seriously struggling to pay attention to any of this.
