These women are so incredibly horrible that looking odd is the least of their problems.

Is it so cold in Dallas that you need to wear a fur coat inside to eat breakfast?

The one who thinks she's Reese Witherspoon?  No.  Just no.

Imagine my horror when I discovered she is from my town (well basically, Montecito is pretty much the fancy pants Santa Barbara).  People are NOT like that here!  There are very rich/famous people but they are a bit sportier/surfer/low key type than an Elle Woods type.

I do think Leeann is absolutely beautiful, and pretty natural.  Cary has always looked strange to me, but so do a lot of plastic surgeon's wives.  Stephanie looks different this season, but I can't put my finger on it.  Elle Woods and Brandi are similar, in that they can look beautiful or odd.  The other new lady looks like she had a face lift, but neglects her jaw and neck.

Puffy.  I think she has gone overboard with fillers from her new bestie Cary.  Or she is drinking a shit ton.  Or both.  Cary reminds me of Heather from NY had she gotten a nose job.  I think Brandi has beautiful hair.  People pay BIG BUCKS for that red but what looks odd is her eye makeup is dark and her brows too light. I personally think she needs to darken her brows a bit.  Back to Stephanie.  Her husband looks like an asshole and a thumb.

The only positive thing I can say about tonight is I didn't hear the word poop and I didn't see fake poop anywhere.  But, I wasn't paying very close attention.

I fell asleep about a million times (sorry, OC and TM2 took precedence), but I'm relieved to hear this.

And then tried to sand him down?

It's 2017. There is no excuse for those brows.

I think Brandi thought they were close enough that her marriage would be off limits and I have to imagine they had discussions about it and how to present it. I would be pissed as fuck if my close friend from before the show highlighted that and Stephanie is so fake I find her completely disingenuous about not knowing why.

But Brandi made her marriage her entire storyline. She even forced her husband to talk about it on camera, when he made it clear he didn't want to. The entire point of the blogs is to discuss what happens on the show. To me, all Stephanie really said was that she felt bad watching things unfold, and she had wanted Brandi to get something different out of the experience. It would be different if brought up off-camera stuff that we didn't know about. But I thought she was doing her job (addressing the show) in the most subtle and compassionate way she could.

Stephanie does sort give off a fake vibe sometimes. So until we hear from Brandi, I don't know what the entire story is. But in this instance - I see no wrong. Also,Brandi has often come off as really unhinged. So I could see her flipping out over something minor.

Stephanie has gone overboard with fillers and botox. Her face is heavier than last year you can especially see the difference in the opening scenes when looking at her from the side.   Looking at her arms compared to last year she may have put on a pound or two. The rest look the same as they did last season.

I had to laugh at Cary's tag line, her "skeletons are in her closet next to her Birkins!" What all two of them? At the reunion her hubby Mark was bragging that she just got her first one he must have bought her another one or she's lying.  You can brag when you've got RHoBH Birkin numbers Sweetie. I don't mind Cary's looks. It's different. She was butting in just as much as Leann by forcing those two together under the guise o introductions.

"Elle"  is gonna get old on me real quick. Hated those movies. That she named one of her kids Hilton is telling. She may be smart but she loses points that she resorts to this fake "pink persona" that had been done to death before by Reese, Paris and a slew of others. A for the pink as a signature color LVP does pink right and doesn't allow it to make her appear stupid. If she is serious about pink dog food I hope she loses a boat load money.

I hope Leann doesn't keep going on about charities and Carny Power as she did last year. That she is trying to do better is a good thing. More than Vicki from RHoOC is wiling to do. Hope she is serious about it.

I'm loving the new house porn.

Brandi lay off the makeup especially in bed as it rubs off and doesn't always come out.

I wish these ladies  as well as all other house wives woud learn that too much and/or too dark eyemakeup makes your eyes visually smaller.

LMAO!  I was born and raised in North Texas and the HP stuff cracks me up!  I couldn't give a rat's ass about fitting in with most of those folks in or around HP.  My family still owns a lot of old family land (Plano area) and they have always snickered about the uppities in N. Dallas.   I see a physician in the Uptown area and I often eat lunch and stop at the Whole Foods(produce is amazing) on Lemmon Ave and those people over there are soooo waxy, fake and seem mostly unhappy.  I live about an hour east of Dallas and although the people out here are a bit, uh "Klanish", at least they are very friendly at the local Brookshires grocery store and don't get all glammed up to go out the door.  Dallas HW's, a little makeup can go a  loooong way, just sayin.

Interesting first episode.   What was bothering me with Stephanie is that her face in the talking heads was a totally different color than her neck, shoulders, chest and arms.  It was very distracting.  And yes, maybe a little overboard on the fillers.   Brandi's skin did not look great to me either.    And yes Cary looked odd too.  Like I think it was a premature eye lift that went wrong but I am just guessing.    I haven't lived in Dallas very long (4.5 years) and do not run in any society circles  but have not seen the Simmons name anywhere in Dallas that I recall...  It could just be me.  I hear family names like Perot (museum, women's wing at hospital), Winspear (opera house), Margaret Hunt Hill (bridge),  Nasher (art)...  I am sure there are many, many more that someone who has lived here longer would know including maybe hers....  The blonde woman - who would create "organic" dog food and then use some sort of artificial color to make it pink.

I'm here to watch though!

Harold Simmons is where the money comes from but I have no idea if this is the same family.  My best friend(RIP) was kin to the Simmons family but didn't share in that wealth! LOL

The flashbacks to the first season did not do any of these ladies any particular favors because it really highlighted the work they had had done in the interim. I will say that I like that production seems to have a far stronger control on this show in terms of getting the women together and such, even if they probably don't necessarily care for each other.

The Brandi/Stephanie things seems hella forced, especially the people at Bravo removed all the tension when they put out the trailer and one of the first things you see in it is what? Brandi and Stephanie kiki-ing about how people think they are obnoxious so they clearly make up.

I hope Leann doesn't keep going on about charities

Wasn't her harping about charities in part because that was the original intent of the first season? Like it didn't become a Real Housewives show until the filming it was done? The same thing happened to Potomac.

LeeAnne attacked someone with SANDPAPER???

Right? I really need the details of that shit. Like, what grit was the paper? Was it attached to an electric sander? So bizarre.

Or, makes the eyes disappear altogether. In her scene with Leanne, Brandi looked downright skeery - it was as if someone shot her eyes out, and only two black holes remained.

Anyway, this episode and the new additions were better than what the OC has offered up so far, so I'm in.

Well Texas...is it still PC there to wear fur?  Wouldn't fly in NYC.

Sadly, yes.  2 doors down from my vet is a shop that cleans and stores furs.  I hate even walking past it.

Bravo must be over the moon that they found not only one but two people from Highland Park fame whorish enough to join the cast.

The first season was so over the top with the name dropping and charity obsession (Charities are AWESOME, but theirs seem to be about the prestige, rather than the charity itself).  Several posters pointed out that the first season had been filmed with the intention of being a reality show about wealthy Dallas women and their charities.  Well here we are in season two, and it's worse!  Maybe Dallas women with money are inherently tacky, I don't know, but they are ridiculously status conscious.  I would think those with wealth let their neighborhood/car/clothing/status speak for itself.  These people are pathetic.  At least LeeAnn's excuse is she's an obvious outsider clawing her way into the "in" crowd.   The only one who doesn't brag on her status is Brandi.  Maybe that's why she's my favorite.  She's a mess, but she puts it all out there.  And her hair is to die for.

In all honesty, I think women like this are in every damn city in the nation...actually the world.  I think fame whores lurk everywhere. The famous line:  Money talks, wealth whispers seem apropos in all cities even the smaller ones.

I have met Margot Perot and H.R.(were aren't bowling buddies or anything) and they are the most salt of the earth folks out there.  Margot supports a Girls Scout ranch in East Texas and we have donated many horses to them and they are always so very grateful and everyone that works on that ranch loves them.  I know a few little girls that have attended the ranch in the summers and they absolutely fall in love with the husband and wife that have run the place for decades. I was at the hospital in Dallas one time and H.R. pulled into the parking lot in his late 90's model Crown Vic(love it!) and helped me back my dually truck into the tiny hospital parking spot. To be honest I didn't need help, as I can squeeze that sucker into any spot, but it made me giggle to think how this "normal" old guy wanted to help me out. That family has done so much for the area it is unbelievable and so wonderful.

Texas is full of old oil money and there are plenty of wealthy folks around that you would have no clue were as wealthy as they are and they wouldn't be shown dead on a show like the HW's!

I'm new to Dallas so I'm still trying to learn names and personalities.  Meh it's ok so far.  So many people coming at me it's difficult to keep up.  I did like the discussion of the butter knife and plate.  Her finishing school etiquette coming out but I did find it a bit mean--almost seems like she was degrading her husband because he didn't come from money.

D'andra apologized to her mother for her husband's improper use of the butter knife, so I imagine there's a bit of anxiety and all kinds of mother/daughter issues that come up when Mother comes over to the house.  Mother seems like she holds her daughter to a very high standard.

This is such a profoundly stupid endeavor. Dogs can't see red and green. They see yellow and blue. So pink looks like a different shade of yellow to a dog. Sounds like time and money well spent.

Kameron is a caricature. Is she even human?? Ugh, so unattractive with that stark platinum hair and severe face. She looks full-on plastic. Carrying her dog named "Louis Vuitton" around

in her handbag, naming her daughter the hideous "Hilton". What a try-hard wannabe. How can her husband stand to be around her? She seems utterly  insufferable.

What consumer except a teenager or current pop princess wannabe is going to feed pink food to their pet.  I think even the most spoiled pampered pooch lover isn't going to subject their furbaby to something that looks so artificial and is colored with the question of being safe.

Not only do I think of pink slime, but also the red dye/cancer controversy, and being unable to detect a problem in your pet's poo.

Aside from that. I just don't care for the woman. I don't care how smart she may or may not be I find her pathetic, lacking and narcissistically selfish to subject her family to her egotistical whims. That she pouted to her husband in the previews when he questions her pink dog food folly says alot about her.

She can leave my screen any time she is just not interesting.

Holy bad cosmetic procedures Batman! All of them, save Luanne and D'Andra, look so fake.

Do we now have 2 HW kids named Cruise (Stephanie & notElle)? And Hilton? Sorry, notElle, but those are not names old money give their kids.

Between the vocal fry and Valley Girl speech affectations, I had to turn on the closed captioning to understand Carey, Stephanie, & notElle's conversation. At one point, Stephanie pronounced 'suspect' as a verb when it was being used as a noun while reading the police report. Speaking of, a knife & sandpaper? WTH??? But I have no trouble whatsoever believing it. Sorry, Luanne.

D'Andra is very pretty and looks like a cross between Kyle Richards & Brooke Shields. And her hubby is hot! But it's her mom's fault that she has no concept of budgeting, so no fair berating her for it now. 5-year old D'Andra didn't buy herself 100+ dresses. The good china, this is how we eat butter nonsense was so contrived.

I don't have much respect for therapists to begin with, but with the therapists on MDLNY, RHoP, and now this show agreeing to be on camera, it is really plummeting. Seems so unprofessional, even with their clients' OK (and probably insistence).

Brandi's hair looks different this season. Did she have highlights last season to brighten up her naturally gorgeous color? It's still pretty, just duller than I remember. Brandi was acting childish toward Stephanie's attempts at reaching out to her, but she looks so hurt & miserable. I think that Stephanie's comments hit a nerve more so than she expected or intended them to. Luanne and Carey need to butt out and let them work it out.

I'm sorry for Luann's honey's eye issues.

I enjoyed Brandi and Stephanie's relationship, but thought it was so close it excluded others, even their own husbands. Now both of them say they miss their friendship, but they each feel closer to her own husband. It seemed like they did everything  together, down to weekending and vacationing together. That's quite a lot.

What is up with the so called wealthy, high society girls bragging about their status?  It was odd to me.  Like D'Andra stating how many square feet were in her house?  Why does she feel compelled to tell us that?  I hope her mom is fun bitchy like Patricia on Southern Charm and not scary bitchy.

Kameron's Elle Woods, dumb blonde act is so annoying.  Ok, you like pink - that's fine.  But if you are so smart, why do have to act dumb and then surprise people with your smarts to get what you want?  Why can't you just present yourself the way you are if you are so brilliant?

LeeAnn is insane but is still likable for some reason.

I am Team Stephanie in the Brandi-Stephanie fight.  Her blog was not bad and she tried to reach out to Brandi and was rebuffed.

Brandi can be gorgeous, but with too much/too harsh eye makeup, her eyes can look small and piggy.

With the whole dog food thing, aside from the fact that I've never known anyone, anywhere to buy any sort of food based solely on it's color (whether for pets or people), what I didn't understand was walking into an existing business that makes pet food/treats, announcing that you are going to start a business doing the exact same thing and then wanting to try it all out.  Was she planning to come up with her own food formulations?  Or just take their food and dye it pink?

Can someone please teach Brandi how to apply eye make-up? It looks so demonic to me because she goes overkill with the dark shades and her eyes just look like black pits. I think her reaction to Stephanie is dramatic considering that Brandi herself was pretty up front about her marriage situation last season. I didn't read the blogs but if Stephanie was making generic statements, then she's not sharing anything new or divulging actual details about the hiccups in Brandi's marriage. Not to mention, I think it's unfair when you only complain to your friends about everything going wrong and then get upset when they have an opinion on it. If Brandi is upset about it, that's fine. She's entitled to feel how she feels without apologies but there's no reason why she couldn't have had a conversation with Stephanie about it. She's letting all of this time pass and only getting more upset about what happened when a simple conversation from the start could have potentially sorted out the problem. And did I get this right....Brandi stopped talking to Stephanie, then invited her to her home for Father's Day by way of their husband's being friends and then took offense when Stephanie was uncomfortable and kept her distance from everyone. That's not such a crazy response to being in a home where you don't feel welcomed by someone who you thought was your best friend yet wouldn't give you the time of day to at least explain yourself and tell you why they're mad at you.

It didn't feel right seeing new girl have to apologize to her mom because her husband dared to spread the butter using the butter knife. How horrifying! I couldn't imagine being around anyone where I had to be so uptight and 'on' that I would feel the need to apologize for something like that. It's not like they were at the table with diplomats or something. It was her mom...if you can't be comfortable around family and friends, who the hell can you be comfortable around?

Stephanie totally narrated the Brandi/Leanne party scene with exaggeration. Leanne didn't yell at her or exhibit any anger toward her. While Stephanie wants to think that Leanne is trying to keep her from being friends with Brandi, I think Leanne's reaction was more to do with knowing just how opposed Brandi was to speaking to Stephanie and that Brandi wouldn't be able to emotionally hold it together if she tried to confront the matter there. Leanne also handled herself well with how she approached

One of Brandi's issues is that she needs to darken her eyebrows.  Just a tad. Then she's over applying the eyeliner, and with the fake lashes there's too much contrast between the brows and the eyes.

Another issue is that her hair is too light, and looks too thin.

Just now catching up.

Brandi and Stephanie's fight does seem staged. Remember, the "big" storyline for her last season was that her husband *gasp* would write down things to do on lists. He didn't even direct it at her, just made lists of things and said "We need to do..." Lol. I forget everything if I don't make lists.

Brandi looks awful. Something else is going on. She looks like an alcoholic.

Kameron spends the first five minutes of her intro describing how important and famous her name (her husband's name) is, then pretends she didn't know how rich he was when they first started dating??? I live in Texas, women here are bigger gold diggers than in California. And pink dog food is not only dumb and useless, but completely ignores the fact people want healthy, non processed food for their pets. There's no benefit to having pink food.

Leanne is beautiful, but just psycho. At some point you need to take responsibility for your life. No matter what happened in your life, that's in your past. Your happiness is defined by what you do NOW.
