so i read sean's diatribe about abby being groomed and at his suggestion, I looked it up. there was repeated mention of giving stuffed animals and toys to gain trust and I immediately thought of paul giving karine all those stuffed animals and things.

I think Karine asked him to bring that crap.  She can't get it in the amazon and she is possibly selling it?  I do think however that Pol went there with the intention of preying on her.  He can't find anyone where he lives and his repeated treatment of ex's shows his pattern.  He was looking for a young girl that knew nothing about him and his past that he can control.  Karine apparently has a sexual past and perhaps that's the only reason her parents let it go this far- hoping marriage will make her "respectable" or something.  Karine perhaps thought that she would be brought to America and get to be a SAHW and then mom, not have to worry about money, and be able to help the folks back home.  Pol can't even take care of himself, much less a wife or family and has to be gone for months at a time b/c of money issues.  His parents won't sponsor Karine and unless he wins the lotto, I hardly think Pol can quickly scrape up the funds needed to bring her over, much less support her.  She's likely to be waiting for years to come to the US permanently.  Maybe she's trying to force him to divorce her because she's realizing he has nothing and is very problematic.

Pol had to take a plane and at least one boat to get to Karine's remote town. He seems like one of these fiends who decided to himself that he needed to go to a poor place on purpose because nobody else would want him. It's the most deplorable kind of thinking. He didn't fall in love with Karine because she was Karine. He fell in love because he felt like she would have to need him because he could offer her a better standard of living. Also, she had never heard the rumors about him in his town. I hope that someone will translate the words of Pol's ex into Portuguese and send them to Karine's parents. Also, they deserve to read Pol's entirely in their own language! 

I remember reading someplace that the interpreter/marriage counselor hired by TLC became a friend of the family. (And you could see that he seemed astonished by what was coming out of Pol's mouth like he was thinking, "What an a$$hole!")  Perhaps he could translate it for them? They need to know the full truth!

Things have gotten 'more stupider.' Apparently the things that Karine's ex posted about her being a good time girl have really gotten under Pol's skin because he posted a photo of a convict and said that the convict was Karine's ex, he was 'on the loose' and that if anyone saw him they should contact local law enforcement immediately.

Way to stay relevant, Pol!

So, first he posts photos of Karine in a nightie with her ex, then he calls it revenge porn and says an ex posted them. THEN, when nobody believes him, he badgers Karine into going alone with his story or he just hijacks her account. OR, he just makes up a bunch of stuff in broken English and says she said it. Take your pick.

The guy responds and tells us what we all knew. That he didn't post the photos and that she was a terrific fun. Methinks the boyfriend knew quite a few tricks that Pol does not as is evidenced by her happy, relaxed expression in the photos and her perpetual sulk when she's with Pol.

(BTW, I saw a crazy jealous guy like this on Dr. Phil who did perverse and disturbed things like stalking his wife, but also sharing nude photos with other people online without her consent... reminds me of Pol's split personality on such things. Like if he's so jealous, why share such photos? Why "repost" the alleged revenge porn?)

The convict looks nothing like Karine's ex paramour other than the fact that they are both black. (Maybe all black people look alike to Pol and he thought we would think so, too?)

Now, he is blaming the 'misunderstanding' on Karine again saying that SHE gave him "bad intel." Yeah right, Pol. She wants nothing to do with this, is probably ignoring your calls and hoping the stress you are causing her doesn't trigger another miscarriage. But then, you're a psychopath so her feelings don't really resonate with you, do they, Poll Stall? Kinda stupid of you to put this guy back on Karine's radar. She's probably longing for his strong arms and basic niceness even now, and you are far far away...

and yet , Karine chooses to stay with him.  Maybe she feels she has to now b//c she's pregnant.  Honestly, I hope she ends it someday.  Her life will always be in  tragic drama mode with Pol.  He will never have any money and his parents will always pay for everything concerning him only, not Karine or the baby probably (or nothing if they grow a backbone or Father decides enough is enough). He will always do things to put her down in order to show how "kind" and "helpful" and "victim" he is.

I think he tries to take out his aggressions by shaming her, and yes, that's awful!  He's probably scared to death that she's thinking about the other guy when they're together, and no, that's no excuse.  Something tells me the other guy has more prowess.  I'm guessing her romantic life with Pol is more a series of fits and starts.

If he were more caring, he could make her forget the other guy.

Pol probably has a fairly exacting physical standard which he doesn't apply to himself, like many of the Americans on the show.

Yup, which is why in 15-20 years when Kreenie looks exactly like her madre, Paul will be back on the internet looking for a luscious young 20-something foreigner.  Not that they will last that long.  I think Paul's going to wind up getting his ass whooped and he'll probably face more legal problems which will give Karine the out she needs.

Exactly! That's a big part of what makes this so sad. A guy like Paul is looking at the outside. If he were a decent guy who treated her with respect, if he made an effort to get to know who she truly was instead of trying to keep her in a virtual cage, they could probably make it work. 

Paul needs to get his life in order. If he really wants to bring her over to the United States, he needs to go back home and work for his dad. Quit messing with the German Shepherds if that's even a real job at all. Make some serious coin and bring her to the United States. No more back and forth, Paul Stall.

Of course, he may not have a choice but to go back and forth as Paul Stall. Methinks he might not actually be able to bring her over even as his wife. If Immigration takes a look at his recent antics they will give it a hard pass. It's in Karine's best interest to stay with her family and raise the baby in Brazil. Better poor and safe any day of the week!

So true. And many times there are multiple women/babymamas fighting over one loser.

I just don't get these people. Paul and Karine should still be over the moon to see one another, especially because they don't live together and there is so much distance when he is back in the States. But it's all accusation and distrust and creepy weirdness going on there. I'm not suggesting that relationships go into the crapper after a time but there comes  settling down time when everything clicks into place and you find contentment in the daily. But that should be a ways off for them. There's no true excitement between them. They don't look so forward to see each other that it's written all over their faces. It's just fight after fight. They live in a pot of pure misery. What the hell is there to look forward to?

Pol seems to like items strapped on to his body.  What really cracked me up was when they were in the hospital watching the very sad visions of "no activity," Pol leans over Kareeny to comfort her wearing a backpack!  Couldn't he have taken that off when he arrived in the room?  I had visions of that bulky thing slipping off his shoulder and hitting her in the head!

I honestly think Karine would be so sick and tired of his crap or he would try to control and manipulate any kids brought forth (no matter who the father is) that she would get to the point of killing him to get away ..... or her family would.  Pol has that difficult personality- controling and trapping his prey.  I honestly think Karine would get to such a dark place that she would see no way out (especially if there are children involved chaining her to him forever).  It's a sad thought , but an honest one that I see with them.  I really really hope Karine's family do not encourage her to move to the US and really stay on top of pointing out what a horrible human Pol is and staying in her life, so that it won't come to dark stuff.

I wonder how she will handle a new born...it is exhausting even on a good day.  I remember the "mommy brain" and all the physical things that went with delivery plus taking care of the house, meals, I am not sure how I did it all. 

LOL, I know, Karine knows nothing of keeping a home but she is really good at doing nothing and whining, Pole will be on baby duty 24/7 and Karine will be lying in a sheetless bed playing on her phone. I know it’s in poor taste but considering Paul’s weirdness..., it did cross my mind that he was trying to deter Karines brother from eating all the food in the house. 

 

Seriously though:

As a woman, before I’d allow my child’s (or grandchild, mother and father Karine!!))remains to be kept in the family refrigerator, Instead of flirting with friends, near and far and surfing social media for cute guys, I’d get my ass out on the street and collect bottles, sell some of my precious atuffed animals, or whatever else I had  to sell or do to get the money to give my child a proper burial.
