I thought Omar was being realistic in his assessment of where they could live. He's Syrian, he can't come to the US. Europe's bursting at the seams with Middle Eastern immigrants and refugees. Canada probably isn't on the table. Their options are severely limited. If he has family in Dubai or Lebanon either one would be reasonable. And just because he's a Muslim man doesn't make him a member of the Taliban or a fundamentalist who'll treat his wife like a hostage. He's a professional, young, modern, well educated. I hardly think he's nefariously planning to abscond with Avery to his tent in the desert, where she'll never be seen again because she'll be banished to the zenana quarters. 

Loren's mother is going to be a "glam-ma"? I confess, I snorted. She seems like a doting, attentive mother but glam she is not.

In Toronto yes.  But Laura has plenty of options. She has lived in Guelph, Ontario and I think Windsor since she moved to Michigan which Windsor is right on the border. It is pretty cheap to live in Windsor, not so much in Guelph since a) it's a university town  and b) closer to Toronto. 

Plus one thing she didn't mention that I remember from the Laura thread is that she owed money in child support to her ex husband. Could be a reason why she won't move back to Canada. Shocked she is still allowed to stay in Florida.  I thought the reason she went to Ecuador was because she overstayed in the States.

I think she went to Ecuador because Evilyn and Cucky offered her free rent.

I read that Laura had been some kind of dispatcher for a transportation company (remember when she told Aladdin that she knew all about vehicles?).  I also read that she was on disability.  For some reason the amount got reduced, and that is supposedly when Aladdin dumped her.

Ok, now that makes sense. She probably claimed disability in Canada, then moved to Florida. She did mention that when she was in Florida, or maybe I read it somewhere, she was working in a nursing home or a hospice. Collecting disability and working at the same time, most likely thinking that she wouldnt get caught. Probably the Canadian govt figured out what was going on and cut her disability based on her earnings in FL, just as they would do in the US, hence her "pension" being cut.

Why are these young men shocked when the older American woman they are in love with lies about their age, uses heavily filtered photo shopped photos and are not willing to be submissive?  I call foul on both sides, no way Aladdin would be in to Laura in real life, Laura has been around the block a time or two and if Laura would not be able to attract a 30 year old gym rat in the US why would she not question the motive of one from another country?

Oh, there are many Lauras, Lisas and Angelas all over the good old USA. They all harbor the same set of delusions. Same with the men, e.g.  David, Ceasar, Big Ed to name a few. I enjoyed Avery's meeting with Omar's family. She brought lovely, appropriate gifts for everyone (hello, Stephanie!) was friendly and respectful. Omar's family is clearly at the very least middle class and probably quite well off. Avery looked very pretty. Who knows? They seem sweet together. I wish them the best. 

Jesse's fake "date" was laughable. So "Bianca"'s agent called and said "hey, do you want to do a reality show? You'd play some guy's blind date." She sure doesn't live in Manhattan as a preschool teacher.

As much as I have never liked Avery, I have to say she pulled out all the stops to make a good impression on Omar’s mother. BGL should take notes. 

My guess is not only did Bianca’s agent (who might also be Jesse’s agent) arrange their fake date, after that the agent went to the nursing home and promised a group of residents cookies and juice for watching Jesse’s presentation. I have to give Jesse props for not arguing with the old man who delivered his practiced lines about love. Ash would have told him he was wrong and some mumbo jumbo about his masculine energy.

I wondered the same thing until I saw one very short scene upon Tiffany's arrival at the airport where she was walking with Ronald and the children and walking along with them to their left was an airport employee pushing a cart loaded with suitcases.  There's no way of knowing that this employee was pushing Tiffany's luggage but it would seem so since no one else was around at that moment.  It lasted only for a second or two.
