I liked it, I can't help rooting for Patty and Bob.

I didn’t read any reviews.  I don’t think it would deserve scathing.  I love the ridiculousness.  In it’s black comedy ways, in reminds me a little of Drop Dead Gorgeous.  One of my absolute faves.

I find this funny and spoofy in some ways. 

P.S. I think Alyssa Milano is playing closer to her own personality than a character. It just seems so natural for her to be witchy.

It took me a few minutes to place the guy playing Bob Barnard. Christopher Goren from Covert Affairs. I liked his character Aggie on that show. He still looks fine. 

Patty’s friend is pretty loyal considering all the changes that Patty has made. 

Sometimes these characters are over acting and it gets campy.

I’m so happy to see Christopher Goren on my screen again. I loved him when he played Auggie in Covert Affairs. I am getting a laugh at how he appears shirtless so often on this show but I’m not complaining. Au contraire.

I laughed since it was so so obsurd.  I just don’t find the actress who plays Patty very appealing.  And I don’t think she is all that pretty either.   I’ll watch a few more episodes.

It’s very absurd but funny as all get out. It’s so cheesy I have Cheetos dust on my fingers from watching!

Patty’s mom reminds me of Brett Butler

The series is becoming a parody of so many shows and tropes. Still I find it entertaining.

Sometimes all you can handle is fluff.

Loved all the dogs. I especially liked the scene where they had all the owners and their look alike dogs sitting in a row. 

I’m glad her friend finally piped up and spoke to someone in the LGBT crew about her feelings.

Oh boy! Magnolia caught Patty and Brick kissing and she did not look happy. 

So much revenge and sabotage going on in this show.

Romances and dating dances. 

Patty’s Mother continues to not understand her daughter or get her life together. She’s either drinking, wanting a drink or screwing some random guy. 

I felt so badly for Nonnie when she put herself all out there to Patty and saw that her dream turn into dust. 

Magnolia took revenge to a new level by spiking the drinks. That’s dangerous as one cannot always predict how someone is going to react to them. The devil in the donut got to Patty’s psyche.

This was some dark fucked up shit. I loved it! I'm looking forward to another season. Hopefully enough people will watch and Netflix won't cave over the criticism.

I really loved it. Like Heathers but more.

Overall - I knew that Dixie was lying about not needing a wheelchair.

I was rooting for both Bob A. and Patty.  

I hated the fact that Bob B. wouldn't even consider the thruple and made Bob A. try to choose. 

Loved Coralee's trailer park roots.  I think she was a way better mom figure to Patty than Patty's mom.

I am guessing that the guy that Angie stole the car from was a Baldwin brother? I tried to look in the credits but couldn't find him.  Also he was Patty's dad?

Cannot wait for Season 2.

I mostly knew him as Harrison John on Popular.

Chloe Bridges (Donna from The Carrie Diaries and Sydney from Pretty Little Liars) as Roxy

William Baldwin was listed in the credits for the episode with Angie's mom's boyfriend. I thought he could be Patty's dad but they didn't specifically mention it.

I love this show. I've binged up through this episode and am frustrated that silly things like needing sleep and plans with family tomorr-wait, today now, prevent me from going further. 

I was glad to see other Bob (heh) and his son connect, even though it was the result of Patty screwing Brick over. Patty's humanity she had displayed over the past few episodes made it hit that much harder. Poor Nonnie, that was another raw moment. I do like how they're exploring her potentially being attracted to people for what they are.

Honestly, my concern about the show grew when I read references to it being a mess. Now, as a Southerner I find the accent pretty dodgy, but I guess they're trying...sometimes, so, yeah.

Overall, I gasped, laughed at some things I probably shouldn't have, and overall really enjoyed the pilot. I don't recall seeing the lead actor in anything before, but he has been a delight.

I laughed at the prior ritual of Nonnie and Patty eating a whole sheet cake for Patty’s birthday. 

“Getting sheetfaced”  Funny line. 

I didn’t enjoy the ending where she was gorging in the silence. It was sad.

He played a serial killer on Law and Order and Chicago PD.  I also thought and still think he looks like John Ritter.

I did read some of the bad reviews. I don’t know how you can watch the pilot and think it’s somehow dramatic enough to be taken seriously.     I feel like reviewers watched it expecting something else.

I took it as a farce and thought it was campy. I had the benefit of not knowing what the reviews were.
