Pimps always get their cut... I'm just sayin'.

Backdoor Teen Mom was how many years ago?  But she still regularly attends the porn video awards.

The "organic" route? Just admit you smoke pot to self medicate.

I feel like the fight wasn't about Xanax at all.  Reality TV infuriates me half the time...we may or may not get the real story six months from now...in a Radar Online post in photo gallery form that crashes our browsers

OMG, why do they do that?????  It drives me crazy.  I refuse to open any links from that site for that reason alone.  Don't they WANT people to read their shit?  Why do they put it out in a format that crashes most people's browsers?

Also, I got a very....intimidating vibe from Farrah's "tenants."  The way that brunette was looking at her....shudder.  Seemed like she was one word away from jumping on her and beating the shit out of her.  It was...weird.

I think that's what she WAS saying.  Anyone who is remotely familiar with marijuana knows what she meant.  And I don't have a problem with that, so long as it actually helps her.  Marijuana is much better than prescription meds ASSUMING it helps the issue (I'm referring to addictive anti-anxiety meds such as Xanax, klonopin and the like.  Not anti-depressants.)  If it doesn't and you need prescription meds, my god take your meds.

Dear God.  I need bleach for my eyes.  I sincerely hope Farrah will never reproduce again.

Finally while Amber Is on her drums Leah gets the.exciting job of watching her mom practice. I wonder how long she was there before Matt brought her the headphones.

Right? Her voice over said something like, "I want to spend some time with Leah before I got to New York". By attempting to show off and assaulting her eardrums in the process???

Simon was out the door after the therapy session lol. Farrah looked sad after he bolted.

I don't think Farrah actually wants to break up with Simon. I think she wants to break up with him as a way to get him to realize all he'd be losing and drop to the ground and propose on the spot. Oooops.

Farrah keeps saying that she wants Simon to just move on and get over her, but it's all lip service.  If I had to guess, I'd say that Farrah keeps letting Simon put it in any hole he wants and that's why he sticks around.  A few weeks back when she "broke up with him" and said that they should just be friends, Simon made it clear that he was pretty confused by her words because he thought that they already were "just friends".  He knows she's a big bowl of crazy, but she is also hot to trot at the drop of a hat and he's not going to turn that down.  However, if she ever actually wanted to be in a relationship with him and start putting the demands of a boyfriend on him, he'd be gone.  Likewise, if she ever just kept her drawers pulled up, he'd be gone.

I had an insane crush on Riot from Jem & the Holograms...in an 80s rock star sort of way!! (yes I was in college at the time, what  exactly is your point??)

Can we all agree that the most violated and abused person on this episode was poor Producer Larry? Can you imagine being forced to eat lunch with Matt? It makes my stomach turn just thinking about it. You know he chews with his mouth open and slurps. Add that to his mouth breathing, yellow teeth and greasy glasses and you have a recipe for never wanting to eat again.

Nah, something about Eric was just a bit too soft and dopey for me.

Now, if we're going on personality alone, it's definitely Eugene from Tangled.

No, I have not spent that much time thinking about these things.

Back to the show , I agree that Tyler likely was all too happy to do daycare duty. He loves the accolades he gets for being such a "good" dad and husband. Cate and Ty's leg-humpers must have really shitty in taste in men, if just doing basic things sends them over the moon the way it does. And, no, it's not about gender. It's about Nova's first day. If it was really a big deal, they could have taken her after they got back from the trip, BOTH of them. But Cate doesn't care, and Ty likes his saint status.

Being forced to eat with that asswipe would be the best diet ever.

ITA to all of this particularly the bolded part (mine). Thank you for pointing that out. I don't understand the need to throw in the gender role argument when clearly it was not implied. It is maddening.

Cate didn't care enough to put off enrolling her child so that her first day coincides on a day where she would have been available to portray the "good" mother for the cameras. But since her ginormous self was too busy in NYC, she had to show that from afar she was so devastated to not have been a part of Nova's exciting first day that she had to pull out her anxiety card for the viewers.

The whole Xanax thing just reeks to me. I know lots of others have mentioned that it isn't that odd for a friend to share a pill but where I come from, that is odd! Plus, he just happened to know someone with Xanax who would give it to him? If Matt brought the pill in case Amber needed it, shouldn't have Amber known about beforehand? "Hey Mama, Daddy has a pill for you in case the plane ride freaks you out (even though there is no record of you having anxiety about plane rides)."  It would be interesting to find out what Matt really hope to accomplish with the pill. I highly doubt it was for himself, since he probably never ever was on pills. Maybe his plan was to give it Cate to get in better with her and get more dirt on Amber. It's consistent with his behavior and would probably work on idiot Cate.  Also, Cate, no one believes that you didn't swallow that pill faster than a quesadilla.

My guess is proof of the fact Matt gave Cate the pill. By showing Amber the pill there is no doubt Matt is in possession of pills when he shouldn't have any to begin with. If Cate didn't have the pill, it would be her word against Matt's.

So, you think it means Cate wanted proof to show Amber? Got it!

I thought maybe it meant Cate wanted proof from Amber, that the pill was what Matt said it was!

For what it's worth, my response was just to the previous poster who said it wasn't just a mom thing.  I hadn't read the post she was responding to.  I agree with Tyler and Cate it's more of a "lazy ass person" thing as opposed to a "mom role vs. dad role" thing.  :)

It is likely because MTV won't promote that part of Farrah's life. MTV is a family-oriented show and they have strict guidelines. They only feature DV, child neglect, physical fights and drug use. Farrah's XXXtracurricular activities and business ventures are just "too heavy" for MTV. MTV would never sink to that level!

Frankly, I have no care that Farrah is peddling sex via webcams or whether her and her friends are exchanging goods for cash. They are all adults. I will quote my girl Missy Elliot:

Girl, girl, get that cash
If it's 9 to 5 or shakin' your ass
Ain't no shame, ladies do your thang
Just make sure you ahead of the game

Farrah is ahead of the TM game, that's for sure. Better than being abused and having someone steal all your money (Amber) spreading your legs and popping out babies (Jenelle and Kail,) or living it up by living on what child support you get from your baby daddies (Leah). I might be in the minority, but oh well. If Farrah isn't harming herself or anyone else, and they all seem to be adults, whatever. Is it something that can potentially harm Sophia? Sure, if things aren't handled properly. Plenty of porn stars and people in the adult entertainment business raise children. I have questioned how Sophia has been raised thus far but it has nothing to do with the work her mother has done in the adult entertainment field.

Nope, I am with you on this. My BFF has been a stripper and escort for 15 years. She has a few "regulars" that think the world of her. One even paid for her to start her nursing degree. (That was a few years ago. She is totally financially independent now and pays for her own shit but that generosity got her started into a new life.) Now, as she goes into med school for dermotology, she has weaned herself out of that lifestyle because she is a bit older. But those years of working it were good to her and I have mad respect.

Re Farrah...at least she is working. She has a strong work ethic and she is creative. I might not understand that industry but I respect her.

Agree with you on both points.  My friend and I are both trial attorneys.  We've both been prescribed anti-anxiety meds here and there over the years in very small dosages and have a few left at different times.  When one of us is starting a trial and freaking the ever loving fuck out, we've been known to go into the other's office and ask for a half of something to calm our nerves enough to be able to actually speak.  It's much more common than people think.

Also agree on your second point.  I drop my kids off at daycare in the morning and my husband picks them up. It's both our jobs, we're both their parents.  Neither Tyler nor Cate work so all child rearing responsibilities should fall on both of them equally.   Now that Nova is actually IN daycare maybe Tyler and Cate can do something productive with their time 3 days a week.  Ha ha ha ha!  I was barely able to type that with a straight face!

Off topic but are you a LawMa on Facebook?

I'm gonna need proof of that marijuana card. Just because Cate says something, it doesn't make it true. C&T lie like rugs.

Cate admitted she didn't have a marijuana card when she was driving under the influence, something she admitted was wrong.

I also need to know why exactly Cate needs marijuana. Just because you are a pot head, that is not reason enough to have a medical card for weed. Yeah, I am one of those who doesn't believe her depression bullshit.

Cate needs to move her ass out of bed, off her couch, and get a fucking life. She doesn't need meds and she certainly doesn't need weed. Cigarettes are slowly killing her, she will probably develop high blood pressure, eating junk food and all that salt sure won't help her in the long run.

Cate has been smoking weed since she was a teen....if she got a card; it was to make her pot smoking legal.  The aroma of bad hygiene, dog shit and weed must make their home real inviting!

Medical marijuana cards are ridiculously easy to get, mostly because it's kind of a joke anyway, especially since many states have started legalizing it for recreational use (as they should.  It's safer than booze.  There's a reason the strongest backers of anti legalization bills are pharmaceutical companies).  Cate would barely have to justify her need to a doctor, much less the general public (and honestly, why should she?  It's freaking pot.  The biggest risk she's taking is becoming an unmotivated slug, which she's already cornered the market on.)  When the public demands in depth knowledge of someone's medical history to justify them smoking a joint, but are perfectly okay with them opening a bottle of wine or a beer, the hypocrisy kills me.  The legal qualifications are met so who cares if she's got a loosey goosy doc.  She could easily just pick up and move to a state where it's been legalized anyway.)

I agree with you on the rest though.  For someone like Cate who appears to be quite sedentary and seems to be gaining weight quickly and struggles from depression (I believe her on that) pot probably isn't going to help too much.  Your suggestions would prove to be FAR more effective.  :)

Yes, the hypocrisy. That is why I pointed out the other habits of Cate. Things can be done in moderation. Weed is legal in their state, but a card is required. Yes, the cards are easily obtainable. I really have no concern or issue with anyone ingesting marijuana just like I have no issue with people ingesting alcohol. It is when doing those things affect your life, your health, your children (if one has children) and affects the safety of others, that is when I will speak out on it.

Cate is a lethargic slug as it is. Add in the weed, alcohol and junk food diet, it only enhances her sluggish lifestyle and creates this unmotivated life.

Frankly, it is her life and I do not care. She can lie around all damn day. I call her out on her lies and snark on her because she demands to be front and center on a tv show. She is also judging other people (Farrah) and that is not cool. Cate needs a major dose of karma.

I can't knock Farrah cause she's the only one working/hustling. I don't care what it is she's doing for work, at least she is working. Totally.  In my early twenties I was just like Cate (except no kids. Thank god, if I had procreated with the losers I dated then..hoo boy!).  I worked waiting tables but had dropped out of college, so when I was home I sat around smoking weed and eating.  I wasn't physically active at all.  Before I knew it I was pushing 200 lbs (on my very petite 5'4 frame, that's a LOT) and one day as I was walking past mirrored doors on my way to the laundry room of my apartment complex and actually SAW my ass cheeks moving in two different directions as I walked (hard to describe, but it was horrifying) I finally was able to ask myself "wtf are you DOING with yourself???"  I was young, not too far out of high school and still had a TON of life lessons to learn before I'd be able to become a fully functioning, healthy (mentally and physically) adult.  I think Cate needs to experience that rock bottom moment for herself.  Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen while Mtv and other enablers continue to surround her.

Having been a teen in the 70s, That 70s show is pretty damn accurate, I agree that pot should be decriminalized for the sick.  I live in Michigan and we all have to remember that federal laws still make pot illegal.  On any job application it clearly states that a marijuana card WILL NOT forgive you a failed drug test.

What get's me is that Cate was so upset growing up with drug use in her home when she was a child and yet has perpetuated the very thing with her own child.

Gotta say - love the whole Matt thing.  Maybe, just maybe, Amber is growing up a bit.

Oh I get you- Lezlers and Mittisgirl, was a DDD down to a small C about a year ago.  Best thing ever, wish I did it about 25 years ago! Except following the breast reduction, I could see how out of shape and big my stomach was.

I completely changed what I eat/drink since April, have now lost 25 pounds. And my bras are baggy!! It feels so good,

because at my age-57-it isn't that easy. That is why I wish Cate would smarten up, she would

feel so much better about herself and her surroundings if she was in better shape. Most women feel somewhat

depressed with extra weight on their bodies. I bet it has to affect her and her moods. It did for me.

I went through my teenage years as a 36E.   It was not fun.  The doctor tried to deter me from getting a reduction when I was 19 because I was still young and told me to wait until after I had kids.  Considering I didn't have kids until my mid-thirties, going ahead and getting it done then was the best decision I'd ever made.  Not one regret.

Good for you girl!!

Preach. I gained a lot of weight with my son. When he was about 3 and I still weighed 150 pounds on my small frame, I started running. I quickly dropped a lot of weight everywhere but my boobs (which were quite saggy from the weight loss). About a year later, I got a reduction to a B cup, along with a "mommy lift". It's much easier to do everything, my tits are nice and perky and I can lay on my stomach. Plus, I can wear those cute little bras and tank tops. The reduction and lift was worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

Good for you to start running! Dropped the weight and got healthier! I was a runner until I got sick and was totally paralysed for a year, now I am too gibled to run. If I have any needles or surgery, the rare illness I had could come back. So eating right is all I can manage. Would love to be perky!

I want to reach through the screen and shake Amber.

I was her once, the only difference was no one was with me because I had money or a TV show, they were with me because they were as dysfunctional as I was and that meant I would likely put up with their crap.

Amber is never happy with him. Granted, it appears that she's not the happiest person in the world in general, but that man is dragging her down. Amber needs a man to define her, and that's why she stays with him. She doesn't need him to take care of her financially, she needs him to complete her because she doesn't just know how to be on her own. Being alone is scary. Consider that she does not have custody of Leah and if Matt wasn't there putting a dent in the sofa with her, she would be ALONE. She knows this and she can't bring herself to be okay with that. She also knows that being alone would require some hard work on her part to fix her life and maybe get into a position where she could have Leah half the time and also find someone who actually cares about her and wants her to be happy and well. The even though she claims to want Leah, like Jenelle and Jace, she does nothing to improve her chances to get her back.

It took me someone like Matt to finally get the balls to be on my own. My ex makes Matt look like a saint. My ex had drug and alcohol issues, was addicted to porn, and I would say he probably cheated on me, but he was more interested in porn than pretty much anything so I'm not sure that he wanted to be with other women. He stole from me, lied to me, and was emotionally and physically abusive. When I finally got the guts to draw some boundaries, and he crossed them and I followed through on my promises, he kicked my door in and threatened me with a knife. The police came, and all the rest of it. That was the end for me. I spent many months on my own, not even hanging with friends, just going straight from work to home. I didn't want to meet someone who could smell my fear and desperation and loneliness and be drawn to me and destroy my life again. I spent several years on my own, and eventually met my husband who is a decent hard working guy that takes great care of me and was by my side through cancer. We have issues, like every marriage, but I trust him and feel like I finally chose well. We've been together nine years.

I also think part of the problem is MTV money and the show. She doesn't have to work, she has no purpose, Matt fills the void because he too has no purpose and doesn't work. They really are perfect for each other in their dysfunction. Thing is, if the money and the show go away, so will Matt and she will be left with nothing. I hate Farrah but at least she's investing her money and didn't hitch herself to the first slob that came along. Isn't she the only teen mom that's been single pretty much the whole time?

You sure had it tough. If only Amber could hear stories like yours, and learn from women that have gone thru what you have. But no way will that ever happen, as long as Matt is by her side 24/7. She should be out volunteering, helping other women, learning from other women. But then she would not be with Matt, and we know how hard she is not trying to be rid of him. Scared she would have to make changes to herself. Why do that when she thinks of herself as a strong diva?! It will take something huge for her to change her life. If ever.

Because as she be smoking pot for her anxiety!  One would think she could find some edibles to take with her or something.  Which I know it's probably illegal when flying..... but it's possible.

speaking of... what is the deal with that scene "i have to tell my tenants they need to move out" and 2 minutes later she chickens out and tells them she's totally open to seeing how much longer they want to stay. And THEN she gets mad at Sofia for saying "but i thought we were moving?"  why would she ask that farrah in front of them!?! Because she's a child and that's what you told you were going to do!! You probably told her you were kicking their asses out.

No comment on Maci and Taylor golfing? That seems out of he blue for me.  Of course Maci had the fancy golf outfit...with the golf skirt and all...  couldn't tell if she was wearing actual golf shoes or not, more and more they look like regular tennis shoes.  But they were apparently new because she said she had blisters.  The matching embroidered golf bags.......  my parents and their close group of friends are big time golfers.  They aren't pros by any means but they love golfing and do it as much as they can.  They fit it into their vacations.  I've never seen anyone wear a skirt or having matching embroidered golf bags with their spouse!

But doncha know? They are REALITY STARS! Only the best for them!

In her Instagram rant, Amber said that people tell her all kinds of stories, but none can top hers, none.

I can't stand Matt, however, Amber plays games with him too. One scene, she's not marrying him, another scene they are choosing a wedding venue, then she's not marrying him, then she's interviewed and they are in a "good place". She has mental health issues, for sure, and all we need is clips back to back to see that.

Granted, it appears that she's not the happiest person in the world

That is the understatement of the year!

Farrah - watching her yell at Sophia while in the car was strange.  Why would you talk to a child like that?  I finally realized that Sophia is her only true friend.  That girl was born with a job.

Seems like Farrah either talks to Sophia like she's a baby or like she's 25 years old. It never seems age appropriate.

I completely agree with this. Sophia has never, ever been allowed to be a regular kid with friends of her own doing the things that kids do. Does she know how to ride a bike? Rollerskate? Even just had a silly conversation with her little friends they way kids do? Your sentence above is the perfect description of her life and I find it extremely sad.

Amber should go say that to Kail.

I'd pay to see this.

Absolutely. I wonder if Farrah is so wacked out because similarly, she was born with the job of being Debra's "friend." The narcicism runs deep in this family.....

I'd also pay to have a one-on-one talk and drink wine session with Farrah's sister (Ashley?) who is estranged from the family.....
