I like the officer in Ohio who stopped that guy who ate his marijuana.I thinks he's hilarious and always looks like he is sick of everyone's shit.

Levertte totally plays up it up for the camera. He's an asshole and dials it up to 100 when being filmed. I have to fast forward whenever I watch him,  because he is so smug.

He's the reason why a lot of people dislike cops. He has to let you know that HE'S the boss, and if you prove him wrong or humiliate him, he's going to make your life miserable.

I really hope they stop following him.

Please let me pile on to the Leverett hate.  I'm starting to fast-forward through his segments, too. They are all the same and annoying as hell.

Yes, Sgt Leverett, you're "King Poobah"-- that's way above the not-nearly-as-fair-as-you "Grand Poobah". You're the fairest of them all.

YES to all of the above about Leveret.

I bet he is fuming when he had to let those guys go last night.

What bothered me the most was how he got really excited about doing the 2nd search on the guy.  He was all amped up about it.  Then he tells (repeats a hundred times) about if the guy moves even once, game over.   WTF?   Who isn't going to move or flinch when some over eager creepy cop is all up in your private parts?  I would of been afraid for my life if I had been that guy at that point.  A guy like Leveret over reacts, we see it over and over again. And all for what? A minor pot bust.

That man did not deserve to be humiliated like that on live tv either.

He is the poster boy for who should NOT be a cop.

I won't be listening to him next week either.

I hope Flex bites him on air.

That would be an early Christmas giftie.

Oh, no, I know he's still active and still has the same job, I just think he may have gotten more attention from this show than he bargained for and may have requested to not appear on camera anymore. I definitely miss the dynamic he and KLaw brought to the show and I can't seem to connect with any of the officers on the same level . It's just not as fun to watch as it was last season. I didn't mean anything nefarious by my previous post about him, apologies if it came off that way.

I missed the near accident. I am just still bamboozled by letting that woman leave without consequence. What if she would've hit me? Would it have then been solely my responsibility to pay for my repairs since she didn't have the proper insurance? Stuff like that just pisses me off!!!

RCSD has stated that both he and Lawrence will be back on the show this weekend.  Mastrianni has been out and doing everything with the CAT team, including all the events that the CAT team appears at.

This made me laugh as well :) I also loved KLaw's reaction to it, "at least you're being safe."

Also wondering why they pulled over this biker in pasco county. He was minding his business just rolling down the street. Was on the side of the road as he should be.

It's hard not to believe there isn't targeting going on. If I was riding a bike, as the small blonde woman I am, they'd drive right past me and I can say that because it's happened. I've biked at night with my dog and had cops zoom by and actually fucking wave.

But they see a man like him, poorly dressed, probably in a bad part of town and clearly down on his luck and they see an easy target for warrants and drugs. Not for the first time it leaves me feeling like that's very unfair.

They stated that they knew who he was and had dealt with him before.  I think they told him that he needed a light on his bike and that's why they pulled him over.  Possibly a BS reason to pull him over, especially since they knew him - but they catch a lot of stuff by pulling over for BS reasons.  But if they didn't do that then we wouldn't have Live PD!

A PSA on why you shouldn't go hiking while high. Apparently that's a recipe for falling down a mountain and losing your friends who are probably also high.

And possibly imaginary friends.......?  They better up date that situation this weekend or a lot of people are going to be pissed!  I read comments on facebook and apparently someone posted that they knew her, she's a known drug user plus many other mental issues, possibly bi-polar, schizophrenia, etc...

ok here's the thing about Leverette.... his interrogration style drives me crazy too, especially when you hear it more than once a night.. BUT it's obviously super effective.  Never once have we seen him accuse of someone lying and him being wrong.  The person is ALWAYS lying.  The guy who put his blunt in his pants/butt? He lied, he told Leverette he absolutely didn't have anything.  It took Leverette about 3 times of questioning before he was truthful.   He is showing these people that they can't get away with it and if they lie he is going to make them look like an idiot.  As they should be.  And even though he says that if they lie to him, they're going to go to jail, he usually always lets them go, especially if it's just a small amount of pot.

However people who know him say he is an asshole off camera so who knows...  I'll be very interested to see what he's like in studio.

Mastrianni's wife is pregnant so with that news I was kinda wondering if he wanted to back off the limelight a little bit.  I'm sure most of these guys had no clue how popular they would get.  I'm sure Mastrianni's wife doesn't like all the attention from he gets from admirers.

The only one who looks and acts like an idiot is Leverett.   His "thing" is arrogance, assholeness and it stems (imo) from enormous insecurity.

Of course no one should lie, but as we see by most of the other officers it can be handled much differently.

The way he comes across and treats people makes me sick.

A perfect example of a GOOD officer is the one from Richland County who could of been shot last weekend.  He handled the most dangerous situation with calm, cool and class.

If Leverett gets so worked up by minor pot busts, I can't imagine what he would be like in a serious situation.

He also NEVER listens to anyone. He interrupts so his lectures and stupid interrogations can continue.

As at least I have seen since watching the show, all these targeted stops seem to have pot or other drugs in the cars, so its no brilliant deduction when Leverett tells someone I know there are drugs in the car.

In addition to Kevin, Mastrianni and Wilson, I like Danny Brown. Kevin didn't get to say much last night - he needs time to warm up to the studio environment.

ETA: I wonder if politics are entering the decisions about who's on camera. Maybe some officers are jealous of those who are featured and want in on this. I assume the officers invited on set receive some kind of stipend.

Maybe some officers, such as Casey, want a break from being on camera. More and more of the public are trying to foil the cameras, which makes for less interesting TV.

I'm a bit wary of Flex's owner. He seems as if he's hard-core and comes off as condescending sometimes.

I know that RCSD has stated that it is up to the officer if they would like to be on the show.    Some would like too and others do not.  I know that Lawrence, Garo Brown and several others were on the Scared Beyond Straight Program and Mastrianni was also on Cops.  Most of the officers on Scared Beyond Straight were members of the CAT team and/or Resource Officers.  Lt. Wilson was also shown but he did not have the cams with him.  He won't be on for the time being because basketball season is starting up and he does the introductions and does the games and whatnots during timeouts and halftime.   I <3 RCSD.  If you notice, our Sheriff has never been seen on this show except maybe in a pre-tape.  He was at the scene at the dealership where the chase ended where the Highway Patrol officer had been shot at but he was not seen on tv.  Sheriff Lott is a great sheriff.

I miss Officer Casey and Officer Poole.

I can honestly say, that I really don't like D. Leverette.  Too much of an ass, he reminds me of that cop that gives other cops a bad name and rep.  I won't miss him when he cycles out.  I know that I would be pissed if Flex jumped into my car and scratched the paint up because Leverette can't be bothered to open the door for him.  It seems that most of the K-9 handlers open the door and not make the dog jump in through the window all the time.

KL telling the guy in the "suspicious vehicle" in Richland to interlock his fingers behind his head.  I ad-libbed the end of that for him: "interlock your fingers behind your stupid little man bun".

I still believe that "Russell in Pasco County" is Johnny Knoxville doing a Jackass character.

Loved, loved, loved when Dan turned to Officer Mini Angrypants in studio and remarked about the Lake Co. officer's awesome de-escalation skills. Angrypants looked like someone handed him a turd on a hamburger bun and forced him to eat it.

Flex was sleepy and adorable. Mini Angrypants was weird and faux subdued, like Eddie Haskell around grownups.

Was anyone else surprised by how different Leverrette looked in studio compared to in uniform? When they came on the air, my husband and I were both shocked. He looks like a fresh faced baby! It was wild. I was actually quite excited for him to be in studio because I mute all of his live segments/traffic stops due to the fact that his voice and fake accent grate on my nerves. However, he was reallllllly quiet, almost nervous, in studio. It was odd. Maybe he will be more natural tomorrow? From what I understand he and flex are there all weekend. I know I give the guy a rough way to go in our chats here, but it was kinda weird to watch him tonight. I don't know. I was willing to give it a shot though!

Yep !   The highlight of the show last night. The female officer did the exact opposite of what Leverett does.   Supersize that turd burger.

I wasn't surprised. He was on his best behavior and there wasn't anyone in the studio he could boss around and intimidate. I liked that he was getting to feel those nervous feelings similar to what the people he stops end up feeling like. I enjoyed seeing Flex who must have had jet lag. He's a cute and seemingly well behaved dog off the job.

I know. That happened so fast and it was confusing.

I hate when they cover kids in accidents or involved in situations. They treat it like accident/incident porn and it gets the viewing audience on social media in a tizzy because there are kids involved.

That got me, too.  I think the reason why he was so quick to detain him was because the guy had already told him that his ID was in his car, so the officer knew it wasn't on his person. BUT what irked me is the cop said he'd told the person three times already to not put their hands in their pockets, however, that was a lie. He told the dude once. Which, if we're being technical, he should've only had to tell him once, I get it. It was just a good example of how fast these situations happen I guess.

The K9s get used hard. They crawl or leap over jagged fences and slam around on the ground. They strain their joints on hard pavement. My neighbor has a retired K9 who can barely walk. As much as I love seeing the dogs, it makes me sad how they are treated. They really are disposable, despite their handlers' love for them. I was surprised at how loving Flex was, because not all of them are that way.

About Mastrianni and Lawrence: the very first time we saw them, back at the start of season 1, they were on scene and Mastrianna was kind of overexcited, running around and yelling orders. Lawrence was in the foreground and the camera caught him rolling his eyes a bit. I guess all partners get on each other's nerves sometimes.

This made me cry!  Poor dogs!  I believe when a dog cannot walk anymore, it is only decent to put them down.  When they can't go outside to relieve themselves, what kind of life is that?

We finally put our dachshund down because she couldn't walk. Her front paws the ligaments were torn. And she was 13, too old for surgery.   I was ready way before my hubby. He still regrets us doing it.  She had no quality of life.

This is the interesting thing about those two, Mastrianni is in Region 2 and Lawrence is in Region 8 but both are CAT.  Garo Brown is from Region 1.

My Goddaughter and her husband have a retired Air Force K-9.  Her husband was the last handler of Rocki.  Rocki is very loving.

The Pasco officers are difficult to watch. They all seem to be douchebags in their early 20’s with such “we’re better then eveyone” big egos. The officers will be standing together talking shit about the person right  in front of them. It’s like watching high schoolers gossip. They lack professionalism.

Like tonight they arrested a man, instead of just putting him into the back seat,  the officer just had to keep going back & forth with the guy talking shit & laughing,it’s almost like he was trying to escalate the situation. Put him in the car and shut up already.

The shirtless, heavily tattooed guy that told the Pasco officer he was homeless...the officer lets the guy go and then turned to the camera and snarked "He's never been a big fan of us." Well, no wonder! Look at how you act!! When they arrested the tank-top wearing motorcycle thief ("alleged"), he made some smart ass remark about his shoes and how they smelled bad. ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! I don't understand why that would cross anyone's mind, other than to be a giant ass and look "cool" on TV. I know it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but that just really rubbed me the wrong way!!!

I didn’t catch that shoe comment but that’s such a dickhead immature thing to say.  These guys need to mature more before becoming police officers, they still have a teenager mentality making them no better then the people they arrest. They need to take advice from Officers like James Casey,Kevin Lawrence, and Chris Mastrianni. They don’t talk down to people, and they don’t sit and argue with them either, they put them in the car and end it. Like they should.

They were nasty to the lady with red hair, like 4 of each officer kept laughing with each other and asking and checking if she had any needles. It made me uncomfortable that all of male officers took turns searching her laughing and even my husband who could careless about this show said that they are horrible.

These guys became police officers for all of the wrong reasons in my eyes.

Yeah it was a dickhead move, for sure! They remind me of people who were bullied and belittled in high school and instead of overcoming that and realizing there's a great big world out there, they receive the tiniest bit of power over people and assert it in the wrong way. I wish every officer behaved themselves the way K Law does. He is polite and courteous up until you give him a reason not to be, then he puts his foot down, gets shit done and moves on. I can only imagine the stresses an officer faces on a daily basis, especially in today's social climate, but damn. Dont be a dick for no reason.
