Shep has a sense of humor.   If I saw that correctly it looked like he literally took him down, and kept him down by biting him in the butt.    I bet when the perp got to jail, after a long stop at the emergency room, that his new roommates in jail enjoyed hearing about what Shep did to him.

I love Shep, and Lor, and Flex.

He did keep biting him in his butt.

Do you guys remember  in what State was the one where the woman insisted on giving the guys who were clocked at 96 miles per hr (they were trying to race her because she was driving a sports car) a lecture on safe driving ? We saw that one last night.

The Cop told here to leave but she wouldn't

I missed that one. But I often wonder if the cops on Live PD are on their best professional behavior due to cameras filming them for national TV. Big difference between filming from a dash cam and filming live for the entire country to see.

The OWN channel (?) used to have a series called Police Women of Broward County (Florida?). I loved that series. These were bad ass women who can handle solo patrols in dangerous neighborhoods while also knowing how to be kind, compassionate humans. They seemed to have a great rapport and friendliness with the residents.

The Pasco officer's are so sexy! They have an Instagram page where they post videos and pics of the officer's that are featured on Live PD

I thought about that too.  I picked a couple of people to focus on.  Carmack out of Pasco FLA seems to never get into fights with perps.  It could just be the calls he is on.  On the other hand Danny Brown out of Richland seems to focus on poor people and tries to pass it off that the community wants him to do what he does.

He is that type of person.  He is a good cop and a good person.  Also, Lt Brown is part of the CAT team which is the Community Action Team, their focus is on the community they are assigned too.

Corporal Steven Walker, from Pasco County, was arrested for driving under the influence. He is being terminated from his job.

It is sad, though I'm glad he was arrested without killing someone.  He seemed to be very level-headed.

So true. I thought he was always very well- spoken and calm when assisting people. I am also glad that he didn't hurt anyone.

I loved the Broward episode where the woman got busted with a bunch of drugs concealed in her bra, and claimed that the wind blew them in there, and they weren't hers.

It was a repeat, but the two year old that was abandoned at the pool by the drunk father, and the dad ran over a bunch of stuff at the pool parking lot when he was leaving was disgusting.    Then when the officers found out who he was, he claimed the kid was still inside the house.   I enjoyed the beat down he got while resisting arrest.   The sad thing is I'm sure he still has the kid to abandon, and drive drunk with him.

Way to go El Paso PD, you guys rock!  This is one LE Force that can take care of business.  We owe law enforcement everywhere a big thank you for the job they have to do, protecting the rest of us from all these idiots with their drug, alcohol, mental health issues.

I also like "I want an attorney." Officer says "you're not being arrested." Keep being an ass*hole and you're going to jail. They keep being idiots.

Agree 1000%, I could not deal with the bullshit these officers deal with on their daily shifts.

Major respect for them all!

The officers never know what they are going to respond to: a goon, a loon, or a gafoon.

How many of us would like to go to our office on Monday not knowing what we have to deal with?

Most of us know we will have to deal with Office crazy, but not loons. They never know who will have a gun.

By loon, I mean where is the red stapler.

What on earth was that bank robbery? They presented it as if it was live although it happened a few hours earlier. I understand they set up a perimeter but it took them forever. Random people were walking all over the place. Then they took the employees and customers back into the bank before they cleared the building?? Is that safe?

I suppose that happens to a point, but I bet they probably forget about the cameras in the heat of the moment.  That's what most people who are on reality shows say, right?  If that weren't true, people on all reality shows would consistently be on their best behavior.  IMO, the majority of these cops are really good with people in general which at the end of the day, is hugely important for how most situations turn out.  But, the cameras catch some that aren't so good, and there are a couple in there who I personally think are assholes.

Very true! I guess it would be difficult to fire someone for being an asshole! Lol

I cannot stand Detective Cox. He has this smugness and cockiness about him. Why did he mute his body camera and whisper something to the officer.

I wondered about that too -- thought maybe he was concerned about someone who was involved actually watching the show, and doing something.  I don't remember the situation, whether someone in a house could have been watching and changed their story or something.

My favorite is Officer Sendejas (sp?) -- she's so non-judgmental.  But the guy with two bikes -- he admitted to recent heroin use -- maybe that second bike was stolen.  He said a friend gave it to him.

I feel bad for the homeless people they encounter.  Instead of "You can't sleep here", why can't they offer a cot in a shelter?  Are there no shelters in California and Arizona?

The drunk guy in the green shirt and his "wife" -- she seemed remarkably unconcerned about him.

I don't think the police should be allowed to mute or turn off their body cameras.  That's what they're there for.

Zendejas! She's my favorite too. There was recently a news article that while on a call she was assaulted and knocked unconscious. Glad to see her last night and that she's back at it. She definitely has a way of talking with people that is calming. She has quite the fabulous bun too!

I can't remember which state they were in with that certain situation. I was under the impression the LE officers were concerned more that someone could have stolen the guns (if they were in plain sight in the back seat) ?  Honestly, if the guy had a trunk to store his guns in, there probably wouldn't have been an issue ?

Danny Brown practices a type of old school policing.  You might call it profiling.  I would ask you to show me one time that he interacted with someone who is not a minority.

However, in South Carolina, today, a police officer was killed by a wealthy white man -- who by the way -- was taken into custody alive.  The dead officer was black.  Had things been the other way around, the suspect would be dead.

Officer Brown needs to stop harassing every black person he comes across.  You may feel safer if he does, but it doesn't make you safer.  It doesn't make him safer either.  That white dude killed one officer and injured 6 more.  But he was taken alive.

I live in Richland County and Lt Brown does the job that he was hired to do, just like K-Law and Mastrianni did.  They are/were part of the community action team.  Check out Richland County Sheriff's Dept website (  rcsd.net ) to learn about Lt. Brown and the Cat team-or the dept as a whole.  Lt Brown has been shown on the show to interact with people with all colors.  Like the white college students that were smoking pot, or dealing in the street.  Yes, that has been shown (last season).  Sometimes it is just the make-up of the neighborhood, local bar or hangout.  Most of the time, they are called by the property management, owners of the business concerning activity.  Such a shock that black people would be together at their local watering hole or hangout.  All people have a favorite place to hang out.  At least RCSD is willing to show how they do their jobs, unlike other departments that are scared to film.  Sheriff Lott believes in being transparent and that is what the cameras are doing.

As for the shooting yesterday, no need to start throwing around certain accusations concerning it.  What happened is not black or white.  BTW, did you know that the shooter was shot in the head?  Have you listened to the audio from the neighbor?  Did you know that there were small children in the house?   No way when the shooter started did he care which officer was black or white.  It was his son that they were after.

EDIT:  To correct a statement.  It was first reported that the shooter had been shot in the head but that is not true.  The man had the advantage over the cops but he is in jail and so is his son.  The funeral for the fallen officer is today (Mon Sept. 8, 2018).

Did anyone else catch that they showed the same perp two nights in a row?   I'm not even sure where he was from, but Dan said it was a first.   So Dan was wrong?   Oops.

I think the refusal to register as a sex offender lady was on in Nye County three times, but I think it was three weeks in a row, not twice in one week.     I loathed her.

My daughter saw Shep and Carmack working yesterday, he doesn't seem effected by the "fame" but he did find her reaction funny because she was all giddy over seeing them.  No she wasn't pulled over just saw them in traffic.  In Pasco on US 19 you can carry on a whole conversation while waiting for the lights.

Not long ago he came across a house party full of white kids drinking and smoking pot. It just so happens that the area they patrol on the show is mainly minorities.

It's not really a first.... one weekend there was a guy that almost died from an overdose and they saved him with narcan, the next night live PD was filming with the officer when the same guy spotted him, waved him down and thanked him for saving his life.  So while I guess it's not someone getting in trouble 2 nights in a row... it was still two nights in a row.

I didn't remember the guy from the weekend the first night at all.  I must have been distracted while he got stopped the first time.

And there have been many people we've seen weekend to weekend - The russian guy who loves his ham.... the lady who wouldn't register as a sex offender...  I think this weekend there was a kid they had said has been on before but I didn't remember him.

Bless, I love me some Dan Abrams, moobs, skinny, or not.  I have loved him since the Abrams Report and even before that... when he covered the Bush/Clinton hanging chad thing.  Dan, if you are still single, I still love you!!  (I know he had cancer back in the day - testicular - I am hoping his loss of weight does not mean it's back.)  My favorite Dan moment was when he interviewed the Pets.com puppet...   (piss, can't find it - it was GOLD!)
