It is my very great pleasure to tell you about a wonderful film called "Mr. Church (2016)".

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4196848/

It stars Eddie Murphy in a role that is nothing like any of the previous obnoxious roles he has played.

This movie is so heartwarming and such a joy to watch - especially if you like life, kids, moms or food (and who doesn't?).

I did a search in the box at the top of the page to make sure there was not already a thread named "Mr. Church" and it didn't turn up anything. So I hope I'm not duplicating a previous thread.

I don't really know how to describe this movie. I don't feel it would be right for me to reveal the plot. The link above to IMDB says the following:

"Mr. Church" tells the story of a unique friendship that develops when a little girl and her dying mother retain the services of a talented cook - Henry Joseph Church. What begins as a six month arrangement instead spans into fifteen years and creates a family bond that lasts forever."

The above description does nothing to describe the mood of this film or the wonderful way in which it's crafted. Whoever wrote and directed this movie must be a real expert in movie making. I'm very happy to recommend this wonderful film to you all. I promise that it will warm your heart and you will walk around feeling wonderful for the next few days.

The best thing I think that can be said about this film is similar to what was said about Bruce Willis' first major film (Die Hard) after he had starred in "Moonlighting" for several seasons. It was said, "You won't recognize Bruce Willis in this film. He plays a character that is nothing like his obnoxious character in Moonlighting."

Well, the same goes for Eddie Murphy. If I had never seen any of his previous work, I would be gushing about what a wonderful new actor has been discovered and how he is incredibly talented and can portray a thoughtful and sincere individual who will just put a smile on your face and a heart in your song.

I hope you enjoy this movie just a teeny little bit as much as I did.
