A quick look online says weight training will help alleviate back pain. With spinal stenosis, its obviously recommended to check with a doctor first and there's some exercises to avoid, but its not in any way forbidden. It's a good thing to do, you just have to be more careful than the average lifter and avoid certain exercises that involve back extensions.

I'm inclined to think its a continuation of the story line - Zach trying to improve his health blah blah blah.

I wondered along the same lines - if that kind of severe stress on his body is a good idea.

I have MS. I was surprised to discover that too intense exercise is not necessarily good for the body. Something about overheating the system. My point is that you have to check your medical condition before subjecting yourself to any kind of physical intensity. Highly doubt Z did that.

Possibilities: 

The steps in their house are a problem.

Zack has a job offer.

TLC ordered them to do something different.

There is tension in the family.

The realtor sign is still on their lawn in her pic on IG but blocked out so you can’t read it.  Tori answered a couple of comments and said they were not moving to the farm but were still filming and had lots to share.

That's surprising news, to say the least!  Not sure it's good for the kids (especially special needs kids who will be facing surgeries) to have no extended family around; Jackson in particular seems quite bonded to some of them.  You'd think they'd want - and need - that stable support system.  But then, Zach and Tori aren't exactly known for making the most sensible decisions!

Who says there's no extended family around? They live close to the Washington border and could have only moved 15-20 minutes away and be in Washington. Plus, Torie's family lives in Washington.

I agree... I can't imagine them carrying an entire show on their shoulders with the hi-jinx of Jackson and Lilah as the main story but who knows, TLC has some pretty lame shows that keep being renewed season after season. 🤷‍♀️

Where I live prices have gone through the roof in the last 2 yrs so they might be making a decent profit but they'll have to pay more for a replacement house unless Washington is cheaper than Oregon, I'm not familiar with either market so not sure what prices are like.

In fairness Matt and Amy managed to deal with a child facing surgeries without two sets of grandparents living within walking distance. Do Matt and Amy get chided for not remembering they are dwarfs living in a two story house with a special needs child facing surgery? Or do they get applauded for handling it the same way everyone else does.

I think grandparent contact is lovely but the stable home in this scenario should be centered around Zach and Tory raising their children... and thats what seems to be happening.

Perhaps I have less faith in Z&T successfully raising their kids alone than I would have in other people... 

We also grew up far away from relatives and, although we grew up just fine, I'm aware we lost out on a lot of extra family love and support.

Jackson, in particular, is very close to Grandpa and Cha-Cha and would miss them.

Now that I think about it, I doubt if they moved very far away at all; we shall see!
