S09.E01: Talk of the Town

Recommended Posts

She has a lot over these women. She has a husband. A relationship she can show on TV.  It might not be perfect. I mean she is not riding on his handlebars eating  tofu tacos. Instead they are shipping champagne in his Penthouse.

Meanwhile Ramona is molesting her contractor. Bethenny is trying on her daughters clothes and Sonja is singing "Glory Days" while trying to make sure that the semen stains don't degrade on her Chanel Jumpsuit from the 1980's. The only one who is in a healthy relationship seems to be Dorinda who is dating a chubby dry cleaner from the outer boroughs. While the other witches tell her that he is no good for her  and she should be alone like them.

Luann is the type of woman who guys like a lot more than other woman. A lot like Erika on Beverly Hills. Or at least that is how it seems to me.

I don't think any of them are jealous of Lu, save for Ramona. IMO this is nothing new. Ramona has always been jealous of Lu and tried to cut her down at every opportunity. The thing with Lu's daughter is the best ever example. I don't even think that Sonja is jealous of her. I think Sonja was hurt by her and is pissed. To me, it always came across that Sonja really cared about Lu, way back in the beginning, more than any of the other gals. I do think that at this point, however, she will feel very vindicated when Tom does something horrible to Lu, which IMO is only a matter of time.

Nobody was mad at Lu for marrying Tom.  Being mad at her for doing something so stupid would mean that they actually care about her and her well being. They don't. They, like many others, thought she was being incredibly stupid for allowing the public humiliation, and didn't like being called liars about what they knew and what their prior relationships were with Tom.  To say they were mad is making it sound like they actually don't want to see her humiliated, and with the exception of Carole and Dorinda - who I don't believe are cruel enough to want to see her suffer - the rest of them are hoping and praying that they are proven right and Tom really is a dog.

I agree that they don't want to really see lulu get raked over the coals - but they DO want to be vindicated?

They put it out that Tom-cat is a dog. Now everyone is standing around waiting for the vet to show up and verify the KIND of dog he is.

They didn't attack lulu, they attacked her taste in men.

Having people around you question/challenge your taste can be just a hurtful as someone walking up to you and slapping you in the face?

IF that person is a friend, is that MORE painful than having a stranger smack you?

Knowing you are going to get hit isn't as bad as getting punched when you aren't looking.

Here's a thought?

What would irk you more?

Your friends questioning your dating chops or people that you barely know casting aspersions about who you hang with?

I'm always on the fence about Lu. i agree she is more comfortable with men, but tries with the women. But I do for the most part like her. I felt really bad for her last year when B went off on her in the Berkshires. That was truly one of the most uncomfortable things I've seen on a HW show. Right alongside the showing of the text pics, but actually worse. For a woman to speak like that to another woman, and on camera is not ok. ever. B was just beyond viscious. Lu handled herself pretty well - I probably would have smacked her (and i've never actually done that!) I haven't really liked B since the first couple seasons, but now I just can't with her. I think she is truly a soulless miserable human. I really feel bad for her daughter, being raised by a hateful mother. And i've said it before - she will never be happy.

But back to Lu. I think she just leads a different more European lifestyle than the others. And that she doesn't like to admit it because of her kids. I also think she is the prettiest of them all which doesn't sit well with them - particulary Ramona. But it speaks volumes of some of these women that they just can't be happy for her. It's not their job to dig up dirt and constantly express their negativity about the marriage. She's a big girl, she knows what she's doing. AND they are not really her friends - just play friends on a show, so their intentions (save Dorinda) are not truly for her best interest. They're for air time and spite. Ramona especially. She is a mess and definitely does not have Lu's back. I do think she is very jealous (and she looks awful this season)

I take back what I said earlier about Tommy's penthouse not being cold and sterile like so many I see on MDLNY. Both the entrance hallway and the kitchen were very cold and sterile looking. The only room that had any personality was the living room, but it was very small. The flooring looked like cheap laminate though I don't imagine it is. Since we didn't see any other rooms I wonder how big it actually is? After seeing the tour, I much prefer the apartment that Beth just sold. I no longer have the last epi on PVR but from what I remember Tommy's Cookies jar was on a kitchen counter. No sign of it in the tour.

I googled to try and see how big the penthouse is, and came up with a story about Ramona being disinvited to a party Tom threw for Luann's birthday last May. It was at the last minute that she was told not to come, and the excuse Tom gave was that it was going to rain so there wasn't room for her inside the apartment. Lol. Though the space certainly doesn't seem like it would hold many people, so one would think you would need the outdoor space to entertain more than a handful.

Is the penthouse his or shared by family? It looks like a hotel room. Not a pillow out on the terrace and I don't recall any plants or pots on the terrace. Odd.

All I can say if they aren't insanely jealous maybe they should stop acting the way they are.  Bethenny seems inordinately infatuated with Tom's penis.  If she wasn't she would stop or never speak of it.  Too bad Ramona didn't see it and Sonja cannot remember it.

The facts have been discussed on the show.  And it's not just Tom.  Luann said -- on camera -- that she had an open relationship with her husband but, when asked about it on the reunion, she denied having an open relationship and denied having ever said any such thing.  It's ridiculous.

I do think you should warn a friend if you have knowledge about their fiance/husband being unfaithful, but, once you've done that, you need to step out.  I actually don't understand why Luann seems so desperate to be married to this guy -- it borders on obsession -- but, if she's determined to overlook anything and everything that might stand in the way of that goal, then folks should definitely butt out and let her have at it.  Ramona just likes to stir shit, but Sonja is ridiculously, sickeningly jealous.  Everything she says about it makes her sound pathetic.

Money, penthouse, not being single.  When she is single again she will get the money and penthouse without having to share it with 3 other ex wives and kids.

I thought the outside space was pretty fabulous.  But it is a bachelors penthouse.  For 'penthouse' standards it was on the small side.  But it has great outside space and great views.  That's worth money.

Yup, it looks gorg, and huge outdoor space with nice views are so sought after & unusual in Manhattan.  That's what caught my eye -- and I suspect Bethenny & Satan Andy are jelly as hell.  Maybe Moaner & Sonja too.  We see the penthouse is pretty darn faboo, but is it smallish?  I can't tell.  Not that it matters . . .

The more we see Sonja's townhouse, the tighter & more cramped it seems.  Still, having your own townhouse in Manhattan is pretty unique & special.  And it is reserved for the rich.  Restaurant hostess Sonja would never have been able to live as she is now.  That's only due to her marriage to old man Morgan.  Yes, her townhouse is teeny, even compared to many Manhattan townhouses.  But living in one is pretty different & cool.  Once Sonja sells hers, she'll be like the rest of us average shmoes just living in low-celinged boxes, like Dorinda or Moaner.

Moaner's place is fairly spacious, but those low ceilings make it look very ordinary.  The new decor is a definite improvement.  Despite Moaner's babble & flirty bullshit with the contractor, she looked very lonely puttering aimlessly in that place.

Jeez, there shoulda been a TH of the contractor, where he says -- Look at what shit we have to deal with.  What's better -- having Bethenny bark out orders & deadlines at you, or having Moaner greet you at the door in a flimsy nightie & a mud pack?  Ugh.

And speaking of small spaces, Carole's place seems awfully tight for 2 people.  Her place has the opposite going on as Moaner's.  Moaner has low ceilings & a lot of space.  Carole has high ceiling & not much space.  Neither one is optimal.  Do high ceilings make a tight space feel less crowded for 2?  Count me in as being surprised they're still together & both living in that tiny joint.  Could they both really be that lazy & passive to stay together? Guess so.

I had to look again because I also recall the outdoor furniture being sterile looking as well - and not very comfy looking to boot. There are two pillows on one couch. No plants. A couple of potted trees, and some what appear to be dying cedars. The whole place really does not look 'lived in' at all. Makes me appreciate my warm, roomy house with a great yard and lake/mountain views. But then I am not a big city kind of "girl" (™ Carole) so much prefer the Hamptons for house porn.

Bethenny, Ramona and Carole were not invited at all. Sonja on the other hand was invited to the bridal showers but when she bad mouthed Luann/Tom on SM and in the press/tabloids she was not invited to the wedding. Luann/Tom made the decision to not have their wedding filmed for the show because they only wanted guests there that support their marriage, so they didn't invite any HWs other than Dorinda and I can't blame them.

Oh....I thought that in the beginning when Luann was walking in the park with Dorinda, Luann told her that none of the other ladies were invited to the wedding, except for Dorina.  But, later, it seemed that they all said they were invited, but couldn't attend for various reasons. I'll have to rewatch it.  I do think that Bethenny saying that she would only attend if she were paid an Appearance fee was pretty tacky.  I mean....really...and a discount on her booze.  I don't know.  TO ME, that sounds like something she would say because she WAS NOT invited.

I think if Tom had proposed to Sonja or Ramona they would have leapt at it, murky ring be damned. I think the women do not understand how Lu got someone to propose to her, because no one is twisting Tom's arm to marry her.  Lu may have some money from her divorce but she is in no way an heiress.  Furthermore, Tom looked at/tried out each of them (Sonja and Ramonja)  and said "nope" then turned around and said "yes, please" to Lu. So that's really why they are PISSED and acting out by trying to ruin Lu's fun.

Tom's apartment is nice with high priced finishes for NYC standards plus he has outdoor space which no one else has. Anyway, I was so happy to see Austin, Lu's westie make an appearance. I have two westies, so I am partial. But Lu needs to find a better dog groomer as Austin doesn't have the right westie cut; an expert westie groomer will cut the head so it's round and grows out that way (see the Ceasar pet food doggie).

Is it possible to be apolitical on this board and still enjoy Carole losing her shit over the election? I think so.

Carole probably has too much time on her hands, and fell into the election rabbit hole to the point of obsessing.  I'm sick of the politics in real life, but somehow am REALLY looking forward to watching Carole's impending meltdown. As for her and Adam, it is a little weird at how long it is going on, IMO. On the one hand, I think, what does she have to lose? But then, on the other hand, it ties her up from meeting men her own age. Remember when she was so weird on that dinner date with that handsome older man that someone (Sonja, Dorinda, Ramona?) set her up with? Maybe she just wants someone without a traditional job to spend her days with? I'm torn. It's like she met the male slacker version of her own self ... the two of them, with all their connections, couldn't even get that cookbook out. What a waste.

Bethenney's new hair looks bad on her. The thing with Fredrik was so staged; there is no way he let Bethenney do whatever she wanted price-wise. Plus, he probably had his own client that he sold the condo to and that's why it sold in one day. I just sold my house in one day because the realtor knew what he was doing price-wise and he had his own client who was ready to buy.

If Ramona was a man who answered the door to his decorator in a speedo and delivered a full frontal hug upon departure we'd be hearing about #sexualharrasment nonstop (from Carole, no less). Poor Avery.

Last November was really rough with the election.  I don't know if I'm ready to re-live it with these ladies.  I watched Scary Island but watching Election 2016 play out again this time on reality tv, just might be too much drama for me.

I'm a bona fide, arm-scratching, vein-slapping political junkie. The morning after the election I got on a plane to P.R. headed to a political conference on a full plane of the most subdued, bleary-eyed (and in some cases, like mine) liquor-numbed Dems you've ever seen in your life. Airports are awesome, they serve liquor all day long. I was thankful for a week where I could escape TV and when I couldn't, it was in a language I don't speak. All that to say, even *I* don't want to watch this storyline.

Ramona and beffeny have a penchant for saying the stupidest shit in a public/group setting. It's not the 'truth cannon/owing your shit' - it's merely they feel the need to get some last jab in.

You can tell people to fuck off in a civil way, but neither has the tact, brains or ability to pull it off.

Beffy just throws out the rudest shit - Ramona goes middle school.

I remember seeing J and M standing by - after B or R whipped down their pants and took a shit on the floor at a gathering - with the dumbest smiles on their faces, while they tried to figure out what their next move/escape was going to be.

Having to follow either B or R  is like trying to clean up after a Great Dane with diarrhea that shit on the floor heater vent.

I can tell you the foyer has the same type of wood used in many lobbies here - we're mulling it for our own. And glad you said it, I didn't want to be petty (alone) but yeah that flooring definitely looked like laminate to me. I'm also a RE junkie and a reno 'ho so I extended the screen to take in every inch. Everything in the place seemed a little old (that green marble around the fireplace, ugh!!) but no worries, despite all her "delight" (and that was NOT mid-century modern, Lu! Watch your mouth calling that mess my beloved MCM) I have no doubt old Lu's gonna make redecorating her first task. And I don't blame her, I would too.

I do love her hair and I think she looks great but she needs to ease up on the injectibles because it is giving her face the Mama Elsa look.

She's taking on the look of having been filled with embalming fluid. There's a shiny waxy look to the skin as well.

She looked her best when she was dating Russ (I think that was his name) - I don't think she went heavy or was "addicted" to the injectibles yet

After watching that tour, I'm a lot less enamored of Tommy's penthouse. It looks like any boutique hotel here to me. I would kill for that outdoor space though, no doubt about it. Lu's other places have felt homey and lovely, so I'm assuming she'll get to work on Tommy's place and get it into shape.

Nope. He's a hipster foodie bicycle boy. I remember reading Candace Bushnell's description of a bicycle boy 20 years ago and except for jettisoning the tweedy literary allusions and explicitly classifying bicycle boys as hipsters now, not much has changed in the description:

Quote

Bicycle Boys are a particular breed of New York bachelor: Smart, funny, romantic, lean, quite attractive, they are the stuff that grown-up coed dreams are made of. There’s something incredibly, er, charming about a tweedy guy on a bike—especially if he’s wearing goofy glasses. Women tend to feel a mixture of passion and motherly affection. But there’s also a dark side: Most Bicycle Boys are not married and probably never will be, at least not until they give up their bikes.

“Riding a bike is not necessarily a power move,” said Mr. Eccles. “It’s best done by power people like George Plimpton. Otherwise, you have to hide your bike around the corner and surreptitiously take your trousers out of your socks.”

Bicycle Boys don’t ride their bikes for sport, like those silly guys you see riding around and around the park. They ride partly for transportation and, more importantly, to preserve an eternal literary boyhood. Think of twilight at Oxford, riding over the cobblestones, while a woman waits down by the Cherwell River, wearing a flowing dress, clasping a volume of Yeats. That’s how Bicycle Boys think of themselves as they pedal Manhattan, dodging cabbies and potholes.

While John F. Kennedy Jr. is certainly New York’s most famous and sought-after bike-riding bachelor, his rippled athleticism disqualifies him for Bicycle Boydom. Because a Bicycle Boy would rather bike through midtown in a seersucker suit than in shorts and a chest-hugging tee. And Bicycle Boys spurn those skin-tight bike pants that have cushy foam padding sewn into the butt. Bicycle Boys are not averse to the chastising pain of a hard bike seat—it helps the literature. “I don’t own any spandex pants,” said Mr. New Yorker, who added that he wears long johns in the winter to keep warm.

http://observer.com/2007/07/what-has-two-wheels-wears-seersucker-and-makes-a-sucker-of-me-a-bicycle-boy/

When I moved to Austin, TX, I met quite a few hipster bicycle boys who were hyphenates that didn't make any sense and where the sum of their jobs didn't seem like it would pay their bills like Adam. I met a poet/architect/DJ who rode his fixie with a wagon attached to the back blasting tunes from a boom box. Adam is a bike riding model/vegan chef/personal trainer/cooperative organic farmer. I know another who is a professor/chef/documentarian who named his son Frisbee.

This makes sense. "Perfect for two."  Because after watching Lu's tour, I'm thinking all that outdoor space, but how many months' use do you get out of it?  NYC gets cold and snow in the winter, right?

I have to give Carole credit for publicly taking a stand and perhaps losing fans/viewers/purchasers. She is being real for a reality show. Something Bethenny won't do bc she is all SKG all the time. I think that is why she was shutting Carole down not because she was sick of talking politics with her.  Bethenny didn't want to alienate any viewers/potential consumers.

Sounds like what I always suspected about those 2.  They are very, very different people.  Bethenny has no friends for various valid reasons.  But this particular friendship was never gonna last anyway beyond the show.  Will we see this friendship break up this season?  If so, I may be able to tolerate Carole's endless political rambling.  Or not.

I wonder if Adam has the same (or any) political leanings.  I could swear I see her eyes roll EVERY time he manages to speak -- which isn't often.  Is she driving him nuts with the political shit all the time, and in that teeny place, where there's nowhere to escape to?  And these 2 are really still together?

I don't have any issues with the gals talking about Lu with each other. That is what we would all be doing with our friends if we thought the whole thing was a big fat farce. But the things that Ramona said to Lu's face were what was shocking to me. And she sits there not understanding why she wouldn't be invited to the Shower. Why would she want to be at the Shower, if not for the publicity? She just wanted her face in some tabloid as having been invited. Lu was much nicer to Ramona, as is every single person on this show. I just do not get it and I never will. And she had seriously just been out on a date when she met Dorinda at her apartment? With that hair? Good Lord.

Ramona has a very cruel, hurtful, jealous and bitter side to her. Like you, I will never understand why she gets away with the malicious things she spews out of her mouth. She also puts on a good act with her phony BS about loving being single, dating and carefree but I think deep down the divorce has been hard for her, she is lonely, and would prefer to have a man in her life than not.

Nope. He's a hipster foodie bicycle boy. I remember reading Candace Bushnell's description of a bicycle boy 20 years ago and except for jettisoning the tweedy literary allusions and explicitly classifying bicycle boys as hipsters now, not much has changed in the description:

http://observer.com/2007/07/what-has-two-wheels-wears-seersucker-and-makes-a-sucker-of-me-a-bicycle-boy/

LOL the health conscious meat heads the smoke dope, e-cigs and drink IPA, only.

I was at holiday party and laughed when a BB showed up with his messenger bag. I made mistake of offering him a bottle of water.

Instead of him being gracious, I was lectured about the evils of water in plastic!

Ok, I took one for the team and paused my DVR on a shot of Ramona's face while she's talking to the decorator.  My best guess on what happened is she got a face lift, and one side of her face is pulled a little tighter than the other.  Thus, her right eye is pulled up in a cat's eye, but her left eye is not.  Also, her right nostril seems pulled toward the right and slightly elongated. Her face is lopsided.

Oh, and lots of cheek filler, and filler around her mouth that makes her lips look weird and pouty.

Why did Ramona need more plastic surgery? She was in pretty good shape for a 60 year old.

The fact that Sonja thinks that having a fling with a schlub like Albert is something to brag about is just further proof of her grand delusion.

I think what's irritating the other women is not that Luann refuses to say that she's in an open relationship, but that she goes out of her way to say she's not, when the facts don't back it up.  It goes back to the biggest and oldest complaint about Luann:  she's a liar.

I hate commenting before reading an entire thread, at the rate I'm going I'll never get done. I don't think it's any of my business what goes on in the bedroom of two consenting adults. If they have an open relationship and don't want it advertised I don't blame Lu for lying. People shouldn't be so intrusive. I bet they don't show this kind of concearn off camera. If and when things go souththe last thing Lu will want are I told you sos and whatever self righteous garbage Ramona spews. She obviously does not want to discuss it but everyone keeps going on about it.

There were poinsettias in the living room, so I am thinking it was December. What a great view, the penthouse is perfect for two and they have two other homes.

There were poinsettias in the living room in the tour Luann gave? All I saw was some roses in a vase on the coffee table. And the same vase/roses appeared to have been moved to the glass table in the kitchen before she went there as they were identical. Didn't see any other flowers at all inside on the tour. It is a great view (if you like city views) but personally I would rather have more indoor space that I can use year round than outdoor space that I can't.

I don't think people care if Lu and Tom have an open relationship. I just find it surprising that after Lu lied for years about her marriage to the count, then admitted that it was an open relationship that she did not want, that she would go down that path again. Adding in all the talk of soul mates, etc. just makes it that much more pathetic.

That's because they constantly corner her into that conversation and she's not gonna give. Good for her!  I think it's ridiculous to pursue a different answer and to such a degree. Why the need to keep going in circles? Let. It. Go.  I find the obsession to get Lu to bend to their will way more of a nuisance than Lu presenting her relationship as something that is making her happy. In Lu's case, it appears that the relationship does indeed make her happy. Who cares if she finds no desire in disclosing the particular details of the terms? Or feels the specifics are not something she's comfortable sharing and instead would much rather present it as a more traditional arrangement. Who the hell does it hurt?

It does go back to the fact that the others find Lu annoying. To me it's such a childish reason they use as justification to keep going in on Lu as cuttingly deep as they do and that is what I find truly despicable.  Not Lu trying to save face. Someone trying to save face is way more understandable than grown ass women going so hard on a woman in such relentless ways for the simple fact that she bugs them.

Truly pathetic I think.

Oh good this has been covered. You put it much better than me.

That's one thing of many Carole and I have in common! I love 'em young and can talk politics all day and all night! Since retiring I have little else to do but be relentlessly beat over the head by cable news with how fk'd up everything is and will continue to be due to how screwed up the political process has become! My bf and college room mate actually revealed during "W's" tenure that he had been a Rep. all along! I knew where he came from, but figured him smarter as a Mensa member who spoke fluent German and studied Russian as a freshmen in college! Something died inside of me! Carole and I can definitely relate; pretty close to the same generation! It seems the older some people get, the disappointments grow with philosophy changes that are so unexpected; esp. if someone supports a clown who's probably unhinged! ;-(

I think Ramona looks great.  She doesn't look to me like she's had anything done. And I believe Ramona is, and always has been, the money in that marriage.  If anyone is paying a settlement, it would be Ramona to Mario, not the other way around.  But considering Mario's very public philandering, I doubt he walked away with much, if anything. It's amazing how quickly "sweet young things" disappear when an old guy has no cash.

Ramona had LOTS of work done.  She looks horrible.

Well, except for his one indiscretion last season, I guess I missed all the other indiscretions that are supposedly going on.  Maybe someone can clue me in.

Tom didn't have to marry Lu.  I don't see him as a famewhore.  If Sonja was 'dating' him for years, why didn't we see him out and center before (all we've seen is that one incident in season one or two when Ro was out with her friends)?   He seems to have been a happy bachelor.   If he and Lu have an arrangement, why marry her?   What does Tom have to gain?  They're not going to have children.  I don't think he needs financial support.  I can't help but think that so much of this is being blown out of proportion.

If they're happy, then let it be.  Ro investigating is because she has a beef with Lu.  Same goes for Beth.  Beth certainly proved that in the Berkshires and then she conveniently gets pics of Tom with that woman.  Sob.  Sob.  I have to tell Lu and show my hands shaking while I hold a perfectly placed label of Skinnygirl to my lips.

I go back and forth on Lu.  Some seasons I like her and some seasons I don't.  If she's happy, so be it.  Ro and Beth need to let it go and let Lu deal with her decisions, bad or good without claiming that they have Lu's best interests at heart.  They don't.

I'm a virtual stalker when it comes to real estate so I looked for the penthouse when it was blabbed about last season. I was 99% on it being the right place (the Tom Dagostino that owns has also lived in West Palm Beach), but after it was shown on this episode the certainty went to 100% since it matched the sales listing.

He paid 1.5m for the penthouse in 2011, which is a couple of hundred grand less than it was listed for. The relatively low price is because it has got a terrible floor plan (basically narrow hallways snaking around the elevator and staircase shafts), is in a second rate location (Third Ave) and was in pretty dingy condition.

I think it's cute, but it's definitely not a luxury pad and as much as I find Luann annoying I don't think she's marrying him for the real estate. Her Sag Harbor pad is worth at least twice as much, maybe more since she built an addition. Also, it's much nicer in every way (prime location, actual livable space).

(For those that are interested in this kind of thing, here's the floor plan from the original listing.)

Furthermore, Tom looked at/tried out each of them (Sonja and Ramonja)  and said "nope" then turned around and said "yes, please" to Lu

So he is the Slade of this franchise? ;) Granted, at least Tom actually has money...

Yikes, no kidding. Good views, and it's a good size for 2 people, but yeah...most of the wrap around terrace seems a waste of space, and could have just been given to make the apartment larger.

Thank you-interesting floor plan.  It sure has a lot of outside terrace area.

Doesn't Ramona also live on Third Avenue?

One more question -how many floors are beneath him?

Ramona is also on Third Avenue, but ten or so blocks to the north. She's in an eighties-style condo building though, and Tom's apartment is in a postwar white brick coop-building. They usually start tapering back from the street (and providing terraces for the higher apartments) above the twelve-ish floors due to the setback-rules in nyc zoning laws. The terrible floor plan for a top-floor penthouse is pretty much par for the course, unless it's a trophy property.

I think Tom's and Ramona's apartments would sell for similar amounts if they are in similar (renovated) condition. Ramona's bonuses are condo-ownership and a more convenient floor plan, Tom's terrace is a boost for him. Dorindas apartment is on Lexington (eighties condo like Ramona), but is also in that two million or so price range. None of them are trophy properties in terms of new york city real estate, but a nice place to own nonetheless.

Interestingly they all live on around the twentieth or so floor of their buildings. There are a few apartments below Tom that have terraces AND less ridiculously bad floor plans.

Wow. Those prices seem low to me. I mean, given the whole mystique of the Upper East Side, I'd have expected the prices to be double or triple that. Especially since Bethenny's apartment just sold for close to $7million.
