I'm calling scripted bs on the whole show. As much as I'd *love* to think that was *really* Todd giving her what for, for real, it was all carefully scripted.

Has no one told Todd is he NOT a dancer?  His facial grimaces are not endearing, funny or cute.

Ok, many years ago when the earth was green I took dance  in high school .  I was..OK,.. to be nice. At no time would  I think being  a bunny was a acceptable  dance move. Is this truly  a thing? What's his face is supposed  to be doing exercise  videos , correct ? It looked like a bunch  of hopping  around to me. But I do understand  that styles  chance so this is a thing now? This is what an exercise  video  looks like?

There's B-roll footage on MBFFL's FB page where Twit forces Tal into "cuddling" by a fire on a rainy day. Why she thinks either gay guy is gonna go straight for a 400# woman is beyond me. A part of how "sen-shus" she is, I guess.

I am 100% with Todd. She was selfish in not insisting he be a part of the video or politely declining since she already had other plans. She probably started in high school: blowing off a prom date if a better one came along. Scripted tho this show be, I think Todd actually does feel that Twit thinks everything has to be about her. He's said that before, just not as emphatically.

I'm rather surprised Twit was not in make-up or hair extensions for most of this episode.

Okay, because I'm barely even hate-watching at this point, I've decided to make it interesting by keeping a running tally of those extra-special moments that, together, put the 'FABULOUS!' in Whitney's big fat fabulous life. Come along, won't you, as we learn how we too might unlock the secrets of a fabulous life! 

1) Spending two times what everyone else pays to travel by plane. Fab!

2) Your mom (bedroom scene) and friends (rickshaw scene) letting you know they're embarrassed to be seen with you. Totes fab!

3) Not being able to hoist your body into said rickshaw via a step that is lower than your kneecap. Fabulosity! 

4) Neglecting your pets until they defecate in your home. ?!

5) Using fake tears to incite pity or deflect anger because manipulation is your default strategy. Super awes! 

6) Showing up to something you say is an "opportunity" looking dirty, ungroomed, and busted AF while your costars are turned out and ready to go. Fabuloso!

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by all the fabulousness, so I've probably missed some of the lesser fabulosities. However, I wouldn't point that out if I were you, because do you know how jealous you sound right now?

ITA, I think Todd may have been genuinely upset with Twit for not including him in the video because SHE was the one who engineered being in it, not the other way around.  SHE was the one who approached the fitness guy about being in one of his videos in exchange for featuring him on the show and she told HIM it was just going to be her and not Todd, which Todd may have known she did which made him even madder at her and explains his "you made this all about you" comment.   She had to know that Todd would get all pissy and throw a hissy fit over this, and how that would make good TV.  Either that or Todd was in on the whole thing with her and was putting on a big old act, although I'm not sure he's that great an actor to feign such anger.  There is not one thing on this show that isn't scripted or manufactured, IMO, except maybe stuff like what's happening with Babs in the hospital in the previews for next week.

The fact that she almost couldn't get into the pedicab spoke volumes.  Then Todd asked her if that was her "good knee".  So she has a "bad knee" we don't even know about?  That explains the lack of great choreography in her "dance" routines.  She may be the real reason her group didn't win the dance battle and why she is so stumped for choreography if she has to work around a knee injury/disability plus who knows what other disabilities she may have related to her weight.

Also, she referred to herself as "350 lbs."  I thought in the previous episode the scale said 364 or something like that.  Did she lose more weight or is she just rounding it way down?

Last week I predicted a lot of cab taking while in NY, which judging from what was shown was the case.  No way was she going to go up and down stairs to the subway, or even to get up on a city bus, especially with a "bad knee".  It's no wonder she has a bad knee with her weight and with all the activity she engages in.  She is a disaster waiting to happen.

Totally agree - if you show up at a Youtube Famewhore's "class" with a camera crew for your own show, how is it a surprise when you're "asked" to be in his "video"?  

And if they WERE two aspiring dancers, who just happened upon this class, and Whitney just happened to be ask to dance in it and Todd wasn't, then he WAS being a little bitch, because she DID ask about him being in it, and was told no.  But they're NOT, and this whole storyline is BULL.

Twit is such a fucking hypocrite!  Because she's fat and Todd's skinny, he should let her win?  She, of her own no body shaming movement is essentially guilting him that because she's fat, she doesn't get any opportunities (based on this show, "opportunities" happen every week for her), so when she gets asked to participate in a lame ass You Tube video to hop around like a bunny (this is a serious "dance career", y'all), he should be happy for her rather than be upset that she's wasting precious time to go site seeing.  This is supposedly the fat fabulous life she's living?  When TLC put this crap on air, the premise was this 380 pound person enjoying life and doing things in spite of her weight.  Something has changed this season because every fucking episode so far has seemed to show her limitations because of her weight.  I don't think this episode cast Todd in a bad light.  I think it shows what we all here already know... how much of a narcissist and self-involved Twit is and he's just about had it.  I can't believe she's walking around NYC looking like a drowned rat.  If TLC has a makeup team to make her talking heads look like a million dollars, they don't have a team to make her look representable before the cameras roll?

Once again a "friend" of Whitney's shows how hard it is to fake it with her.  You could tell Todd was really grossed out from her just touching him.  Kind of like the way Boo Bear was grossed out having to escort her out of the shower and rub medicine on her back.  I think the only one's on this show that really and truly care about Whitney are her parents.  She's just too full of herself to accept that nobody wants to be touched and handled by her.  It's not cute and we already know she's not embarrassed to fart in someone's presence.  I imagine Todd was really not looking forward to sharing the intimate space of sleeping in a bed with her.

 Well, I think she has sunk to a new low. She ended that episode the quintessential victim! I loath victims. Todd has everything because of his fit,  fine body and she has nothing because she's fat.   Why can't Camille have this one thing???

Wait, did I miss something? The title of the show is my big fat fabulous life.   If she gets no respect, it's because she earns no respect. Yes, there are people that are going to judge her without knowing her because of her weight. That is reality.  You can't change reality, you can't  change them, the only thing you can change is yourself. The other reality is that, if this is her real personality everyone is seeing, she will get no respect once you get to know her either and that is not based on her weight!

 As I commented last week when they showed the promo  of this scene at the end, there is nothing about her situation that she cannot change. PCOS may make it difficult to lose weight, PCOS may make it easy to gain weight, but all that poundage is a result of the thousands of calories a day she has to consume to maintain it. That body is not the result of a reasonable diet.  Trust me, I know. I track my food and consume 1400 cal a day, and I still weigh 180 pounds at 5 feet 5.  Showing her nibbling on rabbit food every time they show her eating is not reality which I find ironic because supposedly this is a reality show.

She needs a big attitude change from victim to victor. Then, maybe, she can get down to a reasonable, healthy size.

And that is the boundary issue I was previously referring to. You hit the nail right on the head. She's done it with Buddy, she did it with Lenny, and  does it constantly with Todd.  The cuddle scene last night was a prime example of it.  I thought her pathological need to cuddle went beyond the pale.

I have no respect for her because she has an addiction, and is not trying to get better.  If she were a heroin addict and currently shooting up, I wouldn't respect her either.  It has nothing to do with her being fat.  If she were anorexic, and refusing to get help, I would feel the same way.

Like any addict she can only deny it for so long.  She either gets help, or she dies.  It's as simple as that.

Anorexia nervosa is a psychiatric illness, not an addiction. Sorry to be particular about this but I have  a history of this illness and it's always lumped in with drug and food addicts. It has less to do with food than people think, that's just the way the disease manifests itself and keeps itself alive. It also takes over your brain to the point where it becomes its own personality within you. It has much to do with "control" issues and sustenance is a very easy thing to control--no one can force someone to eat (very simplistic explanation). Sorry to digress. Just a teeny annoyance of mine, AN is very misunderstood. Back on track.........

Whit does have some serious issues going on that probably need to be dealt with in order for her to make healthy changes that will stick.

Sharing a bed with her would be vom. Anyone lighter than she is (read: 99.9% of the world population) would be pulled by gravity over toward her for senshus cuddle time. Add in the lack of hygiene and what to her is heavy physical activity, and ugh. 

If the ramp to get onto the ferry is wheelchair accessible, then it can only rise one inch for every foot of length. Hardly climbing Everest. 

And big whoop, she gets picked to be in a fitness video. Didn't she make her own fitness DVDs last season? With her name on them and everything? The whole thing was two famewhores engaged in mutual masturbation.

ITA, it's even creepy.  Why would she need to cuddle with her platonic friends in bed all the time?  It speaks to some unmet need she has to have fulfilled.  Todd's revulsion is natural.  She is like a bottomless pit of need with food and human contact.  She doesn't get much physical affection because she has made herself too disgusting for most people to want to go near, so she keeps eating to "compensate".  I suppose she's hooked on endorphin release, but nothing seems to satisfy her need, which sounds like it comes from some pathology, like not getting enough real affection in childhood or even PTSD from some kind of childhood abuse.  It becomes like a craving that can never be fully satisfied.

The hair thinning was really apparent last night.  I'd be totally freaking out. I know that she covered this problem in an episode in a previous season.  It looks like things are not working out with her hair care strategy.  I can't imagine.  

Okay.  From last night, I was really torn.  I kinda see it from both points of view.  I get how Todd must have felt.  No good deed goes unpunished and all that......HOWEVER, I can also see if from Whit's point of view.  It's hard to say who was really right.  I think that if you commit to your friend to do things with him, then that's what you should do.  But, if something unexpected comes up that can really benefit you, what are you supposed to do?  It's a tough call.  I would view it as a career opportunity.  That type of thing is how Whit makes her money.  That's how she got her tv show, which is her primary income.  Can she afford to ignore that?  It indirectly effects Todd too, because, he's certainly getting a paycheck from TLC AND tv time.  He was a SERVER in NY and now he's on a weekly tv show.  Not bad for someone who isn't that good at acting or dancing. lol  (Same goes for Whit.)  I think we saw Todd struggling to act as he played upset with Whit.  lol Kinda funny.  I'll just say that as a person who supports myself and has to maintain income on my own, I can't afford to forfeit business opportunities, even if my friend gets upset with me.  HOWEVER, Whit should have explained it that way and poured her heart out to Todd about how that works.  I'm not sure she understood it that way or not though.  lol She just seemed entitled.  Whit is spoiled that way.  

I believe the scenes are either re-enactments or totally staged, as I haven't heard anyone with a genuine vomit.  It has a distinctive sound and theirs are fake, imo.

With Whit's feet, I can't imagine that she would be able to enjoy much on foot in NYC.  Too painful.  She could just admit that.

My pet peeve was getting into NYC and lying in the bed!  OMG.  The same thing happened to me years ago with my then fiance.  His FIRST trip to NYC and we arrived to have him go to our hotel room and want to nap!!!!!!! Please! I don't get it.

Haven't seen this yet but wondering why Babs is the source of all her issues? Why is it always only the mom? She has a dad - a dad who has never been able to say no to her. A dad who thought her nude rolls jiggling around in her 'belly dancing' routine was 'beautiful'.
