I could not stand Briana or her sister and really loathed the mother. If they wanted more crazy they should have brought Amber over and dumped Maci and Catelynn. Also, be done with Nessa and revamp the after show so that it is a recap with snark, hosted by Farrah and Simon. Now that I would watch.

I'm surprised this chick was able to get knocked up again considering her mother threw herself on her vagina whenever a guy so much as looked in her general direction.

She hides dudes from her family. On the special they aired Monday night, Briana told Baby Daddy #2 that no one would know about him if he hadn't got her pregnant. Her mother likely had them young, no? So she thinks the answer is to be all overprotective and up in their business. Instead of, I don't know, having frank and open sex and relationship talks with her children.

shallow note- I liked Briana with the short hair, it really brought out her features.

Same. She doesn't even look like the same girl now. Did she have facial stuff done, or just the body work? Her face looks so different, to me. Can it really be just the haircut? Well, it was probably puffy because of the pregnancy, and her skin itself looked really bad too. Not surprised she had a girl. They say girls steal your beauty.

Yes I remembered Brittany had an abortion while Brianna chose to have the baby, but I mean had Brittany had any children since then- looks like she hasn't (good for her). Brittany looks like she's over the entire thing. If she knows what's good for her she will keep her personal life off cameras and only show up to collect her check/discuss Nova.

I liked it when Brittany said even if they'd BOTH had abortions, Briana would still have a baby...because look at her now. Burrrrn.

They showed up on A family therapy on VH1. They brought Nova in the last day or so.Totally cute. The Mom was forced to admit that her girls didn't share the same father. Brittneys dad was killed in the streets when she was about a year old. The mother lied her whole life. Both sisters lost their shit. Then a had just a lil sympathy for them. I guess we'll see more crap hit the fan.

Oh wow. They were raised to think they had the same dad? That mom is so shitty.

@ghoulina I think Brianna looked different due to a combination of the hair cut, pregnancy and weight gain (related to the pregnancy). Some people have a drastic change in their face shape when they gain and lose weight I think she's one of them.

Brittany does love to bring the burn, but it's kind of funny. She might be the saving grace of that family- Nova look to your Aunt Brittany! I admit though I haven't been following the family on social media or anything so my perception may be off.

OK so let me get this straight.. MTV claims to have reduced teen pregnancy by sharing the stories of these teen moms.. But even the teen moms who went through the hardships themselves (and aren't teens anymore) are still just as stupid as, they were at 16. Brianna meets a guy at a club dates him barely a month and gets knocked up again? So even after she gets plastic surgery she doesn't use birth control? Come on!

I have no desire to watch her or her family. All I recall about them is the yelling and chasing the dad out of the house. IIRC her mom tried to throw a chair at him. They all spoke with a super irritating accent too. Not impressed, MTV.

Now if it were Katie, I'd watch that. She seemed like a good kid. Hell, even Mackenzie and Alex were more interesting than dejesus

MAD Tv called, they are coming back on air and need to recast for Melina and Lida. Maybe Briana and her sister?

EXACTLY. The thing that makes it worse is that Brianna actually did have to go through hardships. I'm not talking about having a bad baby daddy or custody battles while driving a Mercedes to the courthouse. Brianna's the only one on this TM2 cast that actually didn't have much MTV money, and had no idea the show would pick her up again. How can anyone be so stupid. Literally, how?!

If I remember correctly, Brianna's mom foot the bill for pretty much everything. Somehow she was able to support all of them comfortably. I haven't watched the special yet, but I am curious what, if anything, Brianna has been doing to support her kids and herself. I wouldn't be surprised if Roxanne was  still supporting everyone and Bring maaaybe had a part time job or collected food stamps. She apparently had enough free time and child care to date a plethora of losers and get knocked up again. She won the jackpot when MTV gave her a second chance.

Yes- this girl dropped out of school, hasn't seemed to pursue a career. Nova is now 6- what has she been doing?!!

Brittany interests me, I wonder if she has moved out and has a full time job. If she's actually grown Up and is doing something with her life, yet her big sister gets to relax and get a shot at reality tv life AGAIN I could see resentment building.

So I've watched the special and am still puzzled as to how Brianna was supporting herself and Nova, especially because she was living in her own decently furnished apartment. If she had been living in it for awhile before MTV called then she wasn't paying for it with TM2 money. She didn't seem to have a job and aside from turning down porn, I can't believe she was getting many gigs for celebrity appearences. I did like the shade her friend gave her for dropping out of school and making excuses, and Britney's shade. Bri is looking to be just as or even more lazy and pathetic as Leah or Jenelle.

I just finished watching the Briana special and can't believe this girl only lives a few miles from my house. All the scenes in her episode are nearby. I know where that yogurtown is and now I'm craving some. I might take my kids there this week. She used to work at my local Chipotle. Briana just struck gold when MTV asked her back. It irritates me because I graduated from College while raising 2 of 3 babies and this girl says she has no time for school and now is going to be making bank. I know she doesn't make as much as the other Teen MOM girls but if this show continues on for another few years her salary will eventually match theirs.

How do you get pregnant with a guy you met at a club only one month prior when you A. did a show called "16 & Pregnant" and "Teen Mom 3" and know more eyes are going to watch you make better choices in regards to safe sex B. you just had a body makeover not too long ago C. you're already burdening your mom and sister who clearly co-parent your first child?

She knew this guy for a month, he could have all types of STDs and she risked it because "one time won't hurt" in regards to pregnancy but it only takes one time to contract HIV, she wasn't thinking about Nova's future if she were to get sick. Unless I convince a man I'm sleeping with to get tested for STDs that man better put on a condom (while being on birth control) until at least a year of dating. I just don't understand how she could be so careless about her risks for pregnancy and disease. Her sister must've been PISSED when she said she was pregnant, and now we find out the baby daddy, Luis has been cheating on her the entire time. It's what happens when you get pregnant by a man after a month, you learn his true character.

Watching these shows makes me appreciate my loving husband more and more. It makes his lack of remembering to flush the toilet some mornings less important. LOL.

I don't like that they added the new girl. The show seems different now and it may backfire on MTV and reduce the ratings. I remember when they added the new Becky on Roseanne and people stopped watching. It wasn't the fact that Sarah Chaulk was unlikeable (I couldn't stand her acting back then, she's better now, but when she was on Roseanne the acting was horrible, lol) as Becky, it's just that it changed the dynamic of the show and that's what Briana is going to do, IMO.

If their sole purpose is to make a drama filled cast, as it's apparent the show has lost its original premise, they could merge the two shows and remove Chelsea, Maci, and Cate and Tyler from the show to accommodate a 1-hour time slot.

Whoah! I typed a lot.

P.S. I hope to gawd they don't pay Devon (sp?) to be on the show because then I would be even more bitter as he definitely doesn't deserve the cash flow.

Uncle Sam was likely supporting Brianna and Nova. Depending on which state you live, you can make out pretty well by registering for the Alphabet Soup of government bennies.

I considered this. Her apartment and stuff seemed a little nice for her to be living off gov't aid, but I guess her mother could be outfitting her with stuff. Sigh, I know TM2 felt like they needed some fresh drama, but isn't there maybe one drama filled 16&P or TM3 mom that at least has a decent job or is pursuing/has pursued their education? Bri seems basically like a repeat of Jenelle or Leah, just as lazy and unmotivated.

She makes out like she didn't have the time for college but I'll bet she just didn't have the brains or motivation for it. She is a lot like Leah in that sense. I appreciated that her friend wasn't kissing her ass and called her on that. Her getting pregnant again at the grand age of 22/23 with a month long hook up just demonstrates how she is still the same immature, ignorant, coddled fool she was at 16. She isn't really bringing anything new to the table so I agree that adding her to TM2 will likely ruin the dynamic rather then give it the boast the producers were hoping for.

I liked how her sister said that she's still be pregnant if she hadn't gotten pregnant with nova. At least Brittany was mature enough to realize she didn't need a baby! Yet here she is, raising briana's.

I didn't get the impression that Brittany was raising little Nova. The girls probably hang out a lot socially so she spends a lot of time with Nova but I don't think they live together or Brittany is a secondary care-taker (that may be wrong). Brittany seems to have grown up and is just living her life.

I SWEAR on TM3 they knew they had different dads....at least I feel like that was something I knew when I was watching that season.   Her arch: Bri never left the couch, her mom was a nightmare & Brit & Bri had different dads.

After only watching the special on Briana, I'm already tired of those three women. The mother thinks she is the patron saint of all mothers for raising two girls on her own. Wake up, Mom, both were pregnant as teenagers and now one is pregnant again by some rando loser. Bravo. Britney is just beyond annoying with her hard-ass attitude. She likes to talk a tough game but she's no more street than I am, and I live in rural Nebraska. Briana, surprisingly, is the least obnoxious of the three while simultaneously being a couch potato and mattress. She's come a long way...eye roll.

I wonder if Briana got pregnant on purpose, to get back on TV. I wonder about the timing of it all, when did MTV start floating the idea of getting someone from TM3?

On Reddit there are rumors about this. Apparently people claim that Briana went on her SM and put it out there that she wanted to be impregnated NOW. A few months after that, bam, preggo. Supposedly her and Mackenzie were both vying for the spot on TM2 and it went to Bring once she got pregnant. Nothing confirmed but no, I wouldn't be shocked if she got pregnant just to nab the spot. I suspect a few of the other moms of doing it to. Bri better hope she can squeeze a few more years out of TM2 so she can get an uped pay grade and some decent savings.

I really wouldn't be surprised if any of the original girls got pregnant on purpose, except Leah!

kail--most obvious one...to get some of what the riveras have, and guarantee a spot living with them. She probably thought they would pay for school, and other things that they didn't. She knew at the very least, her child would be taken care of and have a college fund.

Chelsea--desperate to stay with Adam, probably hoping to get married after high school. Not college material and not wanting to disappoint her dad by not going to college without a great reason. Thinking adam's interest will be ignited by a child.

Jenelle--trying to get Andrew to stayyyyyyy, and probably move closer! If she'd known it wouldn't work, she would have aborted (in contrast to Chelsea, who would have welcomed the child anyway with open arms). At the very least, if she didn't get pregnant on purpose, she stayed pregnant to stick it to Barb.

Leah's the only one that I think was a TOTAL accident. What would she have to gain? She didn't know Cory, was delusional enough to think she was college material (still is), had cheerleading, wanted to get back with Robby...

ALL kids born since TM2 started were for he cameras except Watson, I think...

A spot on post- BUT I think that Leah had Addy to cement her relationship with Jeremy. (Cameras or no cameras) She thought a baby would lock down a high earner and she would be taken care of. The twins were most certainly an accident though- I do wonder why Leah never considered having an abortion.

I don't recall her mentioning if she thought about it, or was against it etc.

That's a good question! I think they are pretty religious, so they might be against them. Chelsea's family is against them, but I think she loves babies and never would have considered one anyway! With Leah, I'm surprised she didn't under those circumstances.

I see Chelsea as someone who's very maternal and thrives on being a Mom. She was always going to be a mom either at 16 or 26. Leah....while she isn't the vile train wreck that was Jenelle circa "the early days" (yes she left the new born twins to go to a game but they were with their other parent, NOT a grandparent), and she has affection and care for the girls I don't think being a primary caregiver is her thing. The twins have Corey and Addy is clean and fed, but I think if Leah came from a different background (educated and more affluent) she would either be childfree OR have a male partner that did more childcare. I just never got those vibes from her.

Leah may have considered abortion, but changed her mind once she found out she was having twins. I have a friend who did something similar.

Ah- can you elaborate on why that might be? My logic is that if I don't want or can't care for ONE baby, knowing I was pregnant with twins would cement my desire to have an abortion, as two is double the concerns of one.

That is a good point about Leah! She reminds me so much personality-wise of a friend I have who wants to be childfree. I think Leah would even be happier if she had a job that she could handle, because she can't handle motherhood. That job she had at the dentist's office may have suited her. I think people in her life think being a SAHM is ALWAYS ideal if you can afford it, and guilt her into staying home with her kids. Plus, she is lazy. However, maybe after the show's over she can spend eight hours a day doing something that she can manage, and would be happier just having a few hours of childcare.

I agree. I think she'd be so much better off as the "two weekends a month" mom with Corey as primary caretaker. A receptionist or salon job the rest of the time. She pushed so hard to be their primary caretaker but in her circles that's just *always* considered best and a no-brainer. It's really a shame. I think she does love the girls and could do well as the "fun outings, sleepovers, and cheer practice" kind of parent that a lot of dads are by their own choice or someone else's. She doesn't have the emotional maturity, patience, coping skills or steadiness to be a good day in and day out caretaker.

Leah let her depo shot lapse, as she wasn't having sex regularly at that point. After quitting hormonal birth control, some women do have a serious delay in their bodies ovulating again (I know some who didn't ovulate for an entire year), so I can give Leah a teeny tiny pass that she really thought she couldn't get pregnant so soon after her shot lapsing. (I mean, she was still irresponsible, but she was less irresponsible than Jenelle, Kailyn, Chelsea, Amber, Cate, and Farrah, who all freely admitted to regularly boning their boyfriends sans protection on their original 16&P eppys). I don't believe there was even a small part of her that wanted to get pregnant, but where she lives, probably  only bad girls get abortions.

You know who would have been a good 5th mom for this series? Anyone from their 16 and Pregnant season! It would be a shocking contrast to see what actual teen moms have been doing to get by without a fat MTV paycheck. And we wouldn't have to watch/listen this nasty family they chose.

I agree, and I would have also preferred ANY of the other 3 from TM3...well, maybe not that girl who called her kid "Belly", but I would be curious to see what became of the druggie baby daddy. That girl Molly seemed like she was actually fixin' to make something out of herself, but I guess that wouldn't make for very good TM material. It really should have gone to Mackenzie. She'd be the only one on that show married to her baby daddy (well, Chelsea is too, but obviously not her OG BD), and isn't she on her THIRD kid?

MacKenzie had her third kid by Josh, but I'm not sure she'd bring enough drama to the show to keep things interesting.

Katie graduated from college and is now expecting baby #2 with her new boyfriend, and again, not enough drama.

Alex is taking care of her daughter and is in a steady relationship.

Brianna is a train wreck who just had her second baby by another loser and hasn't distanced herself from her psycho, toxic mother. Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!

I'm going to just have to FF, or mute the Brianna + family scenes. And why is MTV acting like it's this BIG DEAL that they're adding another mom? Are they not aware that she was on the franchise that FAILED?

Same here. And she's enough of a fame whore, having been on other reality tv shows. That's why it would have been better to see someone who HASN'T tied to keep their name in the spotlight. That would have been worthy of a recap. The TM2 kids are what, 7 years old? How have the last 7 years been for Nikkole (mmmm, maybe not), Lori, Samantha, Nichole, Lizzie, Brooke, Felicia, Emily, Markai, Aubrey, Christinna, Kayla or Megan? Sadly, Valerie died earlier this year. Maybe she could have been helped by the MTV sponsored rehab trip. Again, any of those would have been better than freaking Briana. UGH.

I'll flush this show myself.  It's not worth my time with this trashbox being added.  I don't need to hear Kail say "I don't want to talk about it" 500 times, either.  Leah is just too damn insufferable.  I'll catch Jenelle's future episode on ID Channel.  I don't care to see her shove pizza at and bitch about Kaiser or whine about Jace being in a safe environment with his mother.  I'll catch Chelsea's segments online.  I doubt she'll have too many with this coven being added anyway.

I do like the idea of random teen moms for contrast.  Or even 'Being ____' type specials with previous featured moms.  Like a one episode check up on them, for a season.  I can't stand this man-hating, entitled, skeezy user trio and I feel just awful for the children they will groom to continue this attitude.

I'll still read here though.  I'm not that committed to cutting this show out.  I'm not missing out on all the snark you witty posters bring!

Adding Jordan from the last season of 16&P would have had me watching. She was working as a stripper and had an addiction problem of some kind for sure. She was a huge train wreck but damn, I would have watched the hell out of it. I could not turn away during her segment in the catch-up special or reunion or whatever for that season.

I may be a bad person because I was riveted by this poor girl's downward spiral, so y'all save me a seat in hell if you were, too.

Was she the one who was a twin?

I watched TM3 last week when MTV aired it. That season was definitely not boring. Well, maybe Mackenzie's segments were, but the other two? Whoa. I know Kate was dealing with an asshole boyfriend, but watching their drama all over again was pretty intense. Alex dealing with her ex's heroin problem was also intense. Briana had some moments, but I am so annoyed with her sister and mother. Her sister was all, "I'm gonna move out!" Three years later she is still living with mom. Ha!

Interesting how back then Briana was all over her sister about needing birth control and insisting she should always be on BC just because you never know, only to hear this season how Briana didn't follow her own advice.

Here we go bringing a guy around your child that you only knew for a month before becoming pregnant. Don't these girls ever read the newspaper or watch the news? I am sure they get newsfeeds on their Facebook pages as they scroll. How is it people are so blasé with bringing strange people around their kids?

Bolded mine- this I will NEVER understand. I don't have any personal experience with abuse (which I am thankful for), but I would never even think to introduce a guy I had been dating for a month to my MOM who is an adult, never mind my child (I am childfree). 1. Yes there are asshole creep pedophiles who prey on single mothers so they have access to kids, 2. Assuming the guy is actually a morally stand-up guy but maybe not "the guy for you" why would you want your child to perhaps become attached if you don't think the relationship is for the long haul???

Imagine being five months pregnant and still having to check who your baby's father is liking on Instagram.

Man, I am so glad I grew up in the 1970s. I cannot imagine what life would have been like. Bad enough dealing with trifling bitches at school. At least at home I was away from those tricks. Summer was even better as it gave me a break from stupid people. The idea of dealing with stupidity on a daily with Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter which gives assholes another way of being bullies and assholes...ugh.

I wish TM would just go away for good.

I am old school. I was a watcher of The Real World. The original RW, not what it has become. One great thing about that show was how the most mundane things that happened on the show was so interesting to watch. Hearing conversations around the dinner table, watching pranks be pulled that didn't involve hurting someone, watching three people sitting in a hot tub discussing why one is against abortion while the other two mention why they are for abortion, watching Tami working at the HIV center, those were just some of the interesting things I enjoyed watching. It kept my attention. I am not sure when this whole thing with reality tv took a turn for the worst with all this drama, fighting, screaming, car-chasing, and verbal and physical smackdowns. It is the norm and I think for the most part, people are accustomed to that kind of drama. If there isn't any drama, it is boring. It is why I can't get fully on board with the "Chelsea is boring" feeling because to me, she gives me a break from the fucking insane drama with the rest of the yahoos. To me, that is normal and reminds me of why I loved RW so much. Yes, there was drama on those early seasons, but nothing on the level that we now see on these reality shows.

Personally I think she's boring but not because she has a nice, drama free life or a nice family. I'm genuinely happy that she has those things, especially after the years of Adam crap. I just don't find her very interesting or compelling as a person. She's fine and likable. I just wish we could see *one* person in the series who had a personal passion or some intense drive. Not perfection, just some kind of... gumption? Deep interest in the world? Go get 'em attitude that doesn't result in an arrest? I had hope for Kailyn and Maci in those areas-- Kailyn, for all her flaws, was tough, hard working and determined at the start, and Maci was interested in journalism and a good parent. Now they've *totally* gone down the tubes massively and I can't stand them, more than many of the others in fact.

Train wrecks like Briana, Jenelle, and Amber are fun to watch in very very small doses. Then it gets to the point of DV, child abuse, addiction, child after child, and animal abuse and it's just awful.

I know what you mean. I think it's a combination of population sample and opportunity. Reality tv is a different ballpark than even a decade ago. When the TM train started the idea was to take your money and brief celebrity and use it to further typical career in the "real world", not have reality tv be you career for the next decade.

Had TM money NOT come along I think Kailyn and Maci would've been better off- they would've finished school and had real careers. Their egos would've been smaller. But the easy money combined with personality flaws was a powder keg. I also think Caitlyn & Tyler would've been better off without TM money. I don't think they would've had Nova and they would've broken up (probably on good terms) but they would've gotten jobs and maybe gotten away from relatives that wanted to mooch off of them.

Man, I miss the days where the most drama came from Puck eating peanut butter out of the jar with his double dipping finger with Pedro (R.I.P) having a panic attack over it. Now it's turned into something I can't snark and watch with my family around me.

There always has to be the mandatory "running through the house naked" scenes and threesomes in the shower. I'm no prude but if I want to watch that stuff I'd google "naughty stuff to watch with hubby with no relatives around me . com".

I would also watch because they would play indie type of music, stuff you don't hear on mainstream radio.
