My dad had a lazy eye that was corrected through wearing glasses when he was young.  That doesn't always work though.

Back in my day, lazy eyes were generally corrected by wearing a patch on the stronger eye until the lazy one compensated. I have no idea how well that worked, but I knew a few kids my age who had them back when I was in elementary school in England.

I think I remember hearing Kendra explain they got help (chiropractor?) to correct Garrett's lazy neck (not sure what you call it) when he was an infant and it seems to have worked. At least someone noticed something was wrong (besides us) & they had it fixed. Hopefully it will be the same for Addison's eye.

Letting a chiropractor touch a child's neck warrants an investigation from Child Protection Services.

There'd be a lot of investigations then. Although I never have, I know a few parents who brought their kids to chiropractors and I've heard stories of others who have too. And for things like ear infections, rashes, walking late, etc. Very crazy, but true!

The sound you hear is just my brain breaking. I wouldn't bring my theoretical kid to a chiropractor, but I could sort of see the reasoning behind, like, a teenager with some sort of back pain or whatever going to a chiropractor. But a rash? Or an ear infection? Oy vey.

Infant chiropractic is much different than what you’re imagining for adults and teens. Not the same at all. No neck cracking. They’re certified in infants and children. I’ve gone throughout my pregnancies and all my kids have seen one off and on since birth.

I went to a chiropractor as a kid, and I have taken my own children as well. I also take them to regular pediatricians and various specialists (pulmonologist, psychiatrist, gastroenterologist) and get all of their vaccinations. I think chiropractic care gets a bad rap because it is popular among the antivax/essential-oils-cure-everything set, but it has a valid place, too, much like midwifery.

Chiropractors do neck manipulation on infants.  And neck manipulation has been linked to stroke.

Adults, infants, and even animals are all treated by chiropractors. I see one regularly to help me with my neck and back (big boobs = chronic pain and stiffness). Whether you believe in chiropractic care or not, it never warrants a call to CPS, good grief.

Those two kids are like an advertisement for the need for some very strong sunscreen. Goodness. Also this is the most boring couple. I always forget to check their thread.

Getting married at 19 and having a baby every 12-18 months for 20 years is definitely my idea of "doing life in the big house".

Reading this just makes me sad or maybe angry that this what these girls feel their life is for. Kendra is full in and I don't see them slowing down anytime soon. I can't imagine having or wanting this for my life.

JB may either drop dead or stop being able to gin up a bunch of money at some point during the next 25 or 30 years. And yet these guys will still have some very very badly educated kids to support to adulthood.

I wonder what Joe's doing, exactly, to prepare in case he has to support his potentially giant gang on his own. ..... If they have to split up JB's "fortune" among everybody eligible, nobody's going to get a ton of money.

Joe, Kendra, their kids, Kendra's parents, and their children are visting the Bowers family. The Bowers have 9 kids. Their oldest two daughters are adults and married into the Bontrager family (both of them.) The Bowers have 6 boys, so there could be a potential courtship between Lauren C. and a Bowers boy. The pictures on Carver Bowers Instagram, which someone could post.

There are a few pictures where neither Joe nor Kendra is holding their children (other people are). This is not the first time there are pictures like and it reminds of JB and Michelle.

You can't bag on Joe and Kendra for other people holding their kids.  Any large gathering of family and friends I go to, babies and toddlers get snatched up and their parents have to fight to get them back.

WTH, that picture with all the families and the boys mostly have team/sport shirts on and that poor kid in the front whose shirt  says "if you die tonight would you be in heaven or hell?"   Where did they get that? Walmart's  Fun-dee kids collection?

I want to tell the kid wearing the  “if you died tonight, would you be in heaven or hell” shirt that I doubt God is best pleased with those who show up at the pearly gates early, having brought others with them, because they refused to wear a mask or social distance.

Amazing that they’ll put a child in a shirt that judges everyone around him, but won’t take the slightest step to protect others’ health.

What's amazing is the Duggar boys have the same shirt.

I think those Judgment House-type things that some churches put on around Halloween sell those shirts

Kendra looks so freaking young in those pictures. It's just ridiculous that she's already a mother of two with a likely 3rd on the way.

Likely 3rd? She is pregnant, it's definitely third on the way
