I think Harry just wants to do a bit of everything. And why not? He has the money and probably just does what he finds will be a kick. This guy has had sold out broadway shows, he was on a hit tv series for years with Will and Grace, he has done movies and judged on AI and this is all in addition to his music and soundtrack writing. Didnt he even voice a major character on an animated kids movie? This move makes sense. Why not try it all? The Ellen show looks like a riot and is extremely popular.

That's fine as long as he doesn't quiz his guests about the meaning of song lyrics.

OTOH, when he does ask about song lyrics, he gets the best "I didn't know there was going to be a quiz" faces...

Honestly they should really be prepared at this point for him to ask about lyrics. He does it practically every damn time.

Harry has a new talk show coming in September called, simply, "Harry".  I don't know if it's syndicated, but it's showing on our local CW station.

Good-sized article on Kara DioGuardi and her latest charity venture, from the Portland (Me.) Press Herald.  It was actually a front-page feature in Saturday's paper.

She performed on some holiday thing this weekend and up until the opening credits I'd forgotten she even existed. Then again, I've also already forgotten what show it was.
