Ken made me get tearful. I think LVP walked away from him because she would have started crying which would have made him cry more....

I love Bambi and she is a total golden (swimming in the pool). Adorable! I wish Bambi had shook her wet fur at LR.

Where can I get the top that Kim's sponsor was wearing?

LR is just so fake.

Ha! I was just waiting to read to the end to post that but you're nicer than I am because I wanted Bambi to shake water all over everyone. Sort of like Camille's automatic sprinklers going on after the dinner from hell.

Exactly.  It looked to me like Ken was embarrassed by his tears and Lisa respected it.  It's obvious he didn't want to be on camera. He broke down and turned away. He had me in tears.

Ugh. No kidding.  She must be exhausting to be around. Absolutely no self awareness.

Maybe she can only make her point in hashtags?  #Itwasrinnawhostartedit, #stopdeflectingrinna, #Ilikehugssosueme.

Hashtags are for people who really, truly believe they have something of note to say.

Tis better to be thought an ass, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt?

I just cannot stomach Kim trying to be the sanctimonious righteous one.  Kim has been an asshole, drunk or sober, on every season and she's started shit with everyone.  Her being an addict in the early stages of sobriety doesn't change that she has zero humility and is somehow still smug.

Rinna is an idiot, full of shit, thirsty gossip, but, Jesus, Kim, just get the fuck out of here.

I cannot possibly like this comment enough.  Kim has been terrible since Day One.  I have ZERO interest in the Kim Richards Sobriety Tour. If she doesn't want to discuss the past then stay the hell off the show. Period.

Both Kim and Rinna are wrong.  They've both done crappy things to one another and behaved terribly and they will never be friends. They just need to apologize and move on.  I'm much more interested in seeing Erika go after Dorit again. ;)

Well, Kim kind of did in last nights episode. She said that Eden "made her skin crawl" which is pretty much equal to "disgust"! LOL I don't disagree with your overall summary of Eden, she has crossed the line when it comes to Kim/Kyle but I am not so sure it would have been about Kim's sobriety had it not been for Rinna's dire comments about them to her. I think she still would have been annoying but maybe not so aggressive in her approach to them without that. That said, we will never know because Rinna poisoned the well right off the bat.

One thing stands out to me, when meeting Erika and Rinna for the first time it was Eden who brought up Kim, and her sister and Robert Downey Jr and Kim getting her sister started on drugs.  So I think she found more of a kindred soul in Rinna and Rinna was also willing to volunteer.  I have to say the biggest load of manure last night was the conversation between Rinna and Harry Hamlin.  LVP pointed it out in her blog:

"I think LR has good qualities, and I have enjoyed our friendship at times, but Harry stating that LR has always tried to help her  and has total empathy for Kim is laughable if it wasn't so ridiculous.  Lisa passed her resentment of Kim to Eden, knowing that Eden was eager to immerse herself in this group of women, and with her history felt, she could speak from authority."

"Well, as much as I respect and adore Mr. Hamlin, telling his wife to speak the truth from her heart is utter nonsense.  When we had the conversations and assertions in Mexico, she vociferously denied saying any of those pertinent statements!  Also sending text messages threatening to 'f---someone up' does not resemble empathy. . . . " . . . ."her intentions are coupled with retaliation from their altercation two years ago."

So agree with this. Lisa's only one person. She is one of my heroes for the work she does around animal welfare.

Couldn't bring myself to watch or listen to to the Yulin stuff, which makes me admire and appreciate Lisa and Ken all the more for addressing it.  It's clearly incredibly difficult for them too, but they have the actual courage to do it, unlike me.

Don't view it as a lack of courage on your part; see it as not needing such images in order to be convinced. If you were out making speeches on the topic, maybe it would help your cause to be familiar with actual documentation but as a caring civilian, it's perfectly fair to not want these things burned into your brain and heart and soul, man. I won't watch a few of the more graphic vegan docs for that reason; I'm already there and don't feel like I need to know anymore if it's gonna cause me to be a basket case.

Vulture recap:  http://www.vulture.com/2017/02/the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-recap-season-7-episode-13.html

It has always just been common sense to me you don't compare a sister dead from an overdose and her recovering alcoholic sister to a recovering alcoholic sister and living breathing sister who is not an addict.  Kim's delivery is too harsh but it kind of comes from a place of common sense.

Oh, I agree! Eden came in with a game plan to try and latch onto Kyle/Kim but Rinna wound her up even more so by making dire statements about Kim/Kyle in present tense. Lisa is correct, and a bit kind, in that Eden was "was eager to immerse herself ", although desperate would have been better fit/term. LOL All of which makes what Rinna told Eden, not completely sober/this close to death/enabler, all the more offensive because Rinna was already on notice that Eden had issues with/about Kim via her sister/drug/death.

There was no reason for Kyle to bark at LVP like that. She might want to slow her roll.

Quote

Rinna actually was pretty ballsy tonight.  She's very insincere but whatever she's good reality tv.

Forget Erika, Rinna is the one who truly gives zero fucks; she'll stir the shit, ladle it up, and then eat the biggest bowl if it gives her a storyline.

Quote

She [Rinna] seems to always cause drama at food eating times.

Frankel does the same thing on the NY show.

The flashbacks of Kyle talking about her fear of Kim dying - how long was it between those scenes airing, and the filming of the Rinna/Eden scene?

Quote

Dorit was pretty damn awesome. Love.

She looked so pretty, too. I may have a new HW crush.

The descriptions of what happens is horrible enough. I don't need to see animal torture porn, just like I don't need to see child porn to know it is horrifying. Hearing about it is bad enough. More than enough.

The best thing for Rinna is to just realize Kim is a self-centered asshole whether sober or drunk and just MTF on.

LVP, justified or not, did seem to enjoy the pile-on on Rinna. Like a lioness approaching a wounder gazelle by the watering hole...don't get me wrong, I really like LVP, but petty and vindictive is not a look on her I like unless she is being really subtle about it.

Kudos to LVP.  Rinna put LVP thru a lot last season with her saying LVP said something that LVP denied.  Most of them believed Rinna.  So if LVP is feeling a bit vindicated, good on her.  IMO Rinna only admitted she said those things to Eden because she found out it was on tape.  The thing with LVP wasn't taped, so therefore could not be proved.  I don't for one minute think Rinna didn't remember saying Kim was close to death.  Although Judge Judy says "if you tell the truth, you don't have to remember what you said".  If we go by that then Rinna didn't remember saying it because she was telling a made up lie, thus she didn't remember saying it because it wasn't true.

Kyle talked about her fear of Kim dying around the time of LVP's Hampton party for her Belle magazine cover/when Kim was busted at Target.  That happened IRL in/around August 10/11, 2015.  The episode containing that information aired January 19, 2016.

The Rinna/Eden dying/enable shopping trip took place around the time Erika went off to Greece (or shortly just before) and her concert was on August 22, 2016 IRL, and aired on January 17, 2017.

Long story short: it was almost exactly a year between Kyle's expression of worry in the Hamptons and Rinna revving Eden up IRL, and a year minus a couple of day from when we saw both on TV.

LVP and Ken in the bedroom.

4 dogs on the bed, swan and turtles in the moat, 2 ponies.

I picture Rosia running around all day cleaning “accidents”. I wonder how many gallons of Fabreze she has to spritz daily. Also how many gallons does it go up on a rainy day? I don’t care how OCD you are with cleaning on a rainy day the wet dog smell lingers.

I see where she is coming from - It's up to her to live under that kind of pressure, every time kim's name comes up.

Eden is just so weirdly annoying.  When she arrived at Kyle's why did she seat herself directly across from Kim?  Kyle's party had so many other seating arrangements, and all the various other women there, that Eden could've plunked herself anywhere else. Then she doesn't speak, but sits there staring at Kim and whoever comes to talk to Kim. I can see why Kim says she makes her skin crawl. Eden just inserts herself in the weirdest possible way.

Apologies were made by both Rinna and Kim but only Rinna has kept the feud going. She has gone after Kim both on the show and off in SM time and time again after apologizing to both Kim and Kyle, as well as promising that she has moved on and will never do it again, several times in the span of 3 years. I am not saying that Kim was some innocent angel in all of this, she was and still is an arrogant snot but she has not smacked talked Rinna for 2 seasons. The only one doing that is Rinna. That is where Rinna looses support from a lot of viewers, her apologies and her promises mean nothing......nothing at all.

I don't think either Kim or Rinna apologized very sincerely 2 years ago (or was it 3?). And Kim rarely apologizes about anything, and doesn't take responsibility for a hell of a lot of shit she's done, her dog Kingsley comes to mind. Both Kim and Rinna are gross to me, however Rinna may have an edge when you factor in her daughters. Had Kim been part of the cast for the last 2 seasons she might have had plenty of shit to say about Rinna if Rinna was FOH and had a sibling on the show and Kim needed a storyline to stay relevant to avoid delving into her own personal life too much, but we'll never know. As Kyle has said, they're oil and water and the two just don't like each other. The only reason Kim was able to forgive Brandi and subsequently get on friendly terms that eventually led to a friendship is because of Brandi. Brandi was the one to apologize sincerely to Kim first. Brandi was the one to show true kindness to Kim. Brandi was also the one who initiated a relationship with Kim that went beyond being on a show together (maybe to antagonize Kyle, but she did forge a genuine friendship). I don't ever remember Kim apologizing to Brandi sincerely. Brandi has a lot of bad qualities, but her ability to turn around the bad blood between her and Kim was mainly due to her and not Kim.

The show was more respectful of Ken than I would have expected it to be.  I am glad they let him have his space and turn his back to the cameras.  He was so uncomfortable being shown crying.  Putting it in the previews was a bit much, but they could have exploited it more during filming and the episode itself.

Kim is a piece of crap to be sure but she didn't keep going around repeating that comment about HH and she didn't go after Lisa on SM/interviews for the last 2+ years either. That can't be said for Rinna though, she keeps going after Kim on the show and on SM/interviews even though she promises her dear friend Kyle that she will stop. To me, a real apology means that not only are you sorry but that you stop doing/saying what someone found offensive for good. Kim did not repeat her offensive comment but Rinna did and I am not sure she will stop this time either.

As for Brandi, I understand what you are saying but she really did get close to Kim only to hurt Kyle. Remember, she tried to get into Kyle's good graces first but Kyle rejected her, so she then turned to Kim as payback to Kyle's rejection. It wasn't because she cared about Kim, heck, it was Brandi that threw Kim under the Rinna bus Rinna's first season to keep the heat off of herself. As much as Kim says she/Brandi are still friends, according to the last time Brandi was on WWHL, they only talk on the phone "occasionally", so they are not close or good friends. Brandi doesn't need Kim to hurt Kyle any more because she was fired from the show, so Brandi is distancing herself from Kim as much as she can without risking a big backlash from her fans. Oh, and Kim's kids can not stand Brandi at all.

Again, me defending Kim makes me dislike Rinna even more because I really do dislike Kim!

I agree, they need to stop bringing Kim back, even as a FOH. That said, this seasons Kim storyline started because of Rinna, not Kim. It was Rinna that went to Eden and got her wound up then sent her to "help save" Kim/Kyle! Blame Rinna for this shit storm. LOL

I believe Kim is pretty close to the end of her run this season.  She doesn't go to Hong Kong and will probably show up at the finale and of course The Reunion.   I can't help but believe had Rinna not done the "let's talk about your arrest" and set Eden into motion, two things would have happened, Kim would have just been in mostly scenes with Kyle or like Camille, showing up for parties and shown doing or saying very little and Eden would be holding a diamond and be promoting her new reality show.

As it stands now, Rinna was largely responsible for increasing Kim's profile.  I don't think anyone from the cast is talking to Eden.  Eden has to be thinking right about now that she majorly blew a great opportunity for the easy Bravo money.

I get what you're saying and we are not too far apart. What Kim said about HH was thrown out there because Kim is spiteful and she wanted to cast doubt on Harry to get Rinna's fire up. What Rinna's said, up until a year ago, about Kim was actually based in truth no matter how shitty it was of Lisa to talk about bc we know her motive has never been to "help Kim". My main point is this:  if the roles were reversed and Kim could do to Rinna what Rinna has done to her I could kind of see her doing that because Kim is vindictive, but we'll never know because Kim is the one who got demoted and Rinna still has the show to use as a platform to pull this sort of thing against someone she very much dislikes. I will say that I think the difference between Kim and Rinna is Kim would stop talking about someone if she made a promise to.

Brandi is aloof, she and Kim live in the same neighborhood and still maintain a casual friendship. Kim probably justifies what Brandi says and does due to Kim being in deep denial and as a way to protect herself from getting hurt.

No, Kim actually brought up never having gotten an apology from Lisa before Eden's intervention. That's why Lisa Rinna said, "Well, you never apologized to me about what you said about my husband," and Kim then said, "I never said a word about your husband," which led to Lisa saying "Let's talk about your arrest."

I thought Rinna's overacting in Mexico was bad, but the apology tour takes the cake.  If she was sincere in her apology, why not either call Kyle on the phone, or arrange to see her - without everyone there.  Same goes for an apology to Kim.   But nooooooo.  She has to dramatically test it out on Harry - ok, he had my back, now I need to test run w/Erika.  Not as good, so I'll go on to Eileen.   First I'm going to dig way into the past to justify things, bring up dead relatives, then do a dramatic sigh with a head tilt and tell her I said it.  Ok, she didn't give me the response I wanted, but she didn't scream liar pants at me.     Time for me to step up my game, go full on head bowed, soft breathy voice and talk to Kyle.     ARGHHHHHH!

Why not let it go until a more appropriate time?  AND why not go see Eden and tell her you are taking responsibility for saying it?    Rinna's game was for her to finally admit it, but have Erika, Eileen back her up - saying how sincere she was.  And what was with the BS only after Eden was so adamant did she finally realize she had said it.

I'm glad they went after Eden too.  When she sat right across from Kim it was creepy.  And when they weren't engaging her in conversation, why not get up, go mingle - so something beside sit there looking like a creepy stalker.

Yes, LVP was jumping up and down with glee, but so would I.   You can see from Rinna's TH that it does bother her that LVP gets to gloat, LVP knows it, and will keep it up.   What I'm waiting for is for Rinna to complain, again, to Eileen how much LVP is loving this, and Eileen will once again be in her ear how somehow all of this is LVP's fault, getting Rinna all worked up again (which doesn't seem to take much).

That just validated what others have been accusing LVP of - that she holds grudges and is vindictive.  The smart thing would have been for her to rise above it - and prove her critics wrong.   Instead, she chose to play the hurt victim - again.

Thanks everyone.

The K & K dynamic is pretty simple.

Kyle just has to let go.

Kim is a grown up, with grown up responsibilities - It's the drowning person scenario.

You are taught NEVER to get close to a person who is flailing about in deep water. They will grab onto you and pull you down with them.

Kyle needs to a) stop worrying over shit she has NO control over, b) tell people that she wishes her sister well and c) if the have ANY questions about Kim's sobriety, they can give her a call and speak to HER directly.

She can also tell people that run to her with gossip about her sister that she isn't interested. Because Kyle hasn't drawn a line in the sand about the topic, people feel the need to stir the pot anytime Kim is even thought about?

Kim whined about Lisar hurting her family, her kids, etc, etc, etc. She doesn't seem to realize that we have all seen her drunken behavior on TV; not just on Housewives, but on Dr. Phil. SHE is the one who hurt her family. Gossip hurts, too, but it's gossip based on Kim's pattern of behavior. Kim is no saint. In fact, she annoys the hell out of me and seems to love playing the victim, the innocent hurt little girl. Ugh. The sooner she is gone from the show, the better.

When Carnie Wilson is looking at you like your dynamics are fucked up, your dynamics are FUCKED up....

ETA:  I want to be invited to a snack sized dessert party where they serve caviar, tuna tartar and crab cakes!

LVP looked gorgeous in her THs in the red dress!

They ruined a perfectly good party and food with a therapy session of fake apologies and whatnot. Why don't any of these women actually pick up the phone and arrange a sit down with everyone to air out grievances? Instead they do it at parties, restaurants...I don't get it. If I was ever casted on this franchise I probably wouldn't make it through a season's contract because I would literally tell everyone to leave me the fuck alone so I can eat. I remember on the RH Vancouver franchise, the Russian immigrant housewife got made at the women because they would always fight before they can even order the food and she never gets to eat....my soul sister, hahah.

I can understand why Kim would take more offense to Eden even though she was just repeating Rinna's comments. Eden's behaviour has been completely counterproductive to what I would think a recovering addict would do when dealing with another addict...or an addict that is struggling with sobriety. That said, Kim and Rinna are just a vicious cycle with each other because they just can't let it go. Kim wouldn't feel any certain away if she spent more time mastering the art of forgiveness. It's important for the sobriety process because harbouring ill feelings creates excuses that can enable someone to have a relapse. And Rinna, an apology can no longer be sincere if you, two years later, are still bringing it up and using it as a way to knock someone down. They're both wrong...Rinna more wrong than Kim at this point in their disagreement but still...Kyle should bear some accountability for constantly putting the two of them in the same room knowing their history and their never ending grudge against each other.

Rinna was really working hard to do some damage control. These women are so dim. Meaning well and trying to help someone - it's not like helping an old lady to cross the street. When you're talking about having the best intentions to help someone when that includes inserting yourself into their business (without being asked), that usually requires a bit of time to build some trust. You just don't jump right into it and I don't see how any rational and sane adult would not recognize this basic understanding of human interaction. You can't effectively help someone if you have no clue about their personality and the best way to approach a situation to get a positive response. You also have to stop hiding behind 'good intentions' when a lot of your interactions included slinging shit at the other person and talking about her behind her back to people.

Kim was flat out wrong when she brought up Katya. Kim was being completely snarky when she reference Eden and Katya's relationship. You could hear it in her voice and see it on her face.

This seemed like the season's tenth catered party at Kyle's house.

At least hosted by her at one of their gorgeous properties!

Kyle has really been letting the mask slip this season and I'm actually beginning to believe that she's actually a much better actress and more of a Machiavellic (TM Camille) mastermind than LVP could ever hope to be as well as suspect that she has herself never let go of the feud between the two of them.

The hissing last night was such a jarring loss of the composure and discipline that Kyle managed to adopt vis-a-vis her onscreen persona after the lovely conduct to which she treated viewers at the original Game Night. Aside from being completely illogical, it was also rather ironic considering the neutrality and equivocation in which she herself has indulged with respect to conflicts between Kim and the rest of the cast over the years.

It has often - rather unaccountably imo - been said that Lisa was not a ride or die friend to Kyle despite aggressively and kind of stupidly defending her for much of the first two seasons while Kyle fantasized about how predatory Lisa was. But why isn't Lisa entitled to voice an opinion that differs from Kim's, especially when she wasn't even vilifying Kim?

This reminds me of how Kyle participated in the encouragement of Dorit and then started physically grabbing her when Eileen began the Game Night pile-on.

The funny thing about last season was that Kyle was seen as a member of Team LVP when she actually just nimbly seconded LVP's guilt and watched her get shit slung at her all while keeping her own hands clean AND managing to do a Saint of the Year act by not actively maligning Lisa.

Kyle has definitely figured out this housewife thing and seems to have picked how she's going to play things going forward - boss chic. She talks all the time about what a tough broad her mother was and Kyle has been exhibiting that attitude more and more (her and Mauricio's expanding wealth is definitely helping her position in the group too) but it's like she's channeling her mother sometimes the way she blurts out harsh but real responses this season. Like when she told Eden about her poor dating judgement. Brutal and right. So to me when she hissed at LVP to pick a lane that felt like a fierce stage mom demanding loyalty in the presence of the enemy. I actually prefer this than watching Kyle literally gulp back what she wanted to say in situations in the past.
