Some of these kids that never show emotion are putting it all on display. Examples-Jessa and John David.

Liked John David`s," She better not forget us" speech.

Liked Josie`s "Jeremy will be a good husband and they'll have a good time."  Did not sound like something a six year old would say.

I love it when TLC trolls.  When Jinger left the airport with Babe, someone made sure to get a shot of the big ol "Protect yourself from the Zika virus!" sign. Beautiful.

Which boy asked Cindy if she was in love with the V?  So great!

I can't with Jeremy's whisper voice.  It irritates the heck out of me.

Jinger can be really cute sometimes.  Her "I'm not nervous.  I'm chill.  I'm talking a thousand miles per hour!" before the wedding vibes were refreshing.  She also didn't waste any time ditching the sleeves next week!  Go Jinger, go!

So my husband was working on his computer while this was on and about 2/3 of the way through he said "How do you watch this? They just keep repeating the same shit over and over." Yeah, that about sums it up.

I have to admit that by Duggar standards this was a pretty decent wedding. Michael and Josie were adorable walking down the aisle. Jinger was a cool bride. No diva antics and she seemed appreciative of everyone's efforts.

Finally, how much hair do you guys think ended up in those cupcakes? Do none of those women own hair nets or rubber bands? Hello, OSHA violations.

Does the flower lady have cheek implants?  She looks like she has a damn tennis ball in each cheek!

Yes, she has cheek implants and not very good ones. She looks like she's storing nuts for winter.

OMG shut up!

As well as "STRESSED."  Joy was stressing me out by constantly saying it.

I can't believe all the hoo-ha about the "V".  It was nice but it took 2+ days & how many people to move & construct it for just a 1 hour (if that) ceremony.  I wonder what became of it. Did Joe bring the refrigerated truck to haul it back to the TTC for the after party (along with the 1/2 ton tree trunks)?

If I was Cindy I'd be pissed about the buckets too.  After texting 4 of them to remind them to bring the buckets& them replying they would, they end up forgetting them.  Then when they get the buckets they are filthy including a mouse carcass.

I'm sure the Jag was from the field known as Duggar Motors.

Can't believe all the loose hair in the food prep. Haven't these women heard of hairnets or at least ponytails? The wedding cake gal was grossing me out with her long loose tresses.

So happy for that! They are both irritating...

I know, Derick doing that was so effing rude. Ben did that to Jessa at Jill's or one of the Bates girl's weddings first. Are they fucking Neanderthals or what!? All that was missing was them clubbing them and dragging them off by their hair!

It's  someone else's wedding...bridesmaids and groomsmen will not necessarily be married to or courting one another, as most bridesmaids are single. They are simply performing a function for a formal event...not having sex with one another, so why the outrage? Just get together at the reception already!

Even Queen Victoria couldn't always be escorted by her husband due to tradition and protocol, and she was the fecking queen of the wealthiest nation at that time. Sometimes, Bin and Dreck, ya just gotta fall in line with protocol and good manners.

During the rehearsal, while they scanned the church, I swear there sat Josh, face turned sideways.

Also, why do all these people call the altar the stage?

Why do you call the stage an altar?  ;-)   Different types of churches have different terminology.  In the Lutheran churches I grew up in, we used the word "altar" to describe not the raised front part of the church (which you seem to be suggesting) but the table that was the focal point of worship and that held the communion elements, offering plates, crucifix, etc.  But I've never heard anyone in an evangelical church call anything an "altar." (If there's a table, it's usually  called the "Lord's supper table," in my experience.) In those churches I usually hear the raised front area of the sanctuary/nave/auditorium/whatever called the "platform," but I don't think it's surprising that it gets referred to as "stage" since so many modern sanctuaries have a somewhat theatrical design.  Anyway, long story short, I can't get judge-y about minor variations in vocabulary. Different strokes.

Hostess to Jill and Derick:  What was your favorite part of Jinger and Jeremy's wedding?

Jill:  It reminded me of our wedding.

Ugh!  What a stupid woman!

She gave shade to the dress, Jill was SOOO jealous the whole time. She seems like a real peach to deal with.

Jinger had "bedroom" eyes the whole 2 hours. She could NOT wait to get to the honeymoon night.

Also, why do all these people call the altar the stage?

Because they're Baptists or cousins to Baptists and that's what they do or at least the ones I know do.  They also call the nave the auditorium at times.  The actual altar is normally a table.  The area around the altar has a different "official" name that varies by denomination.  For Catholics it's the sanctuary and what Methodists call the sanctuary is called the nave in the Catholic church.  Lutherans and Methodists call the area around the altar the chancel.  Although some Methodists resist calling the communion table an altar.  They  do "altar calls" at the chancel railing if they have one.  Baptists I have known tend to avoid the term altar thus the stage.  Most current day Baptist churches seem to avoid having a permanent table on the stage/chancel and roll in a table on wheels or a cart to use as a communion table.  All of which does make "altar calls" now an interesting term.  Thus the Duggars who are Baptists of one form another tend to use the stage and auditorium terminology.  The church where they had the reception even converts their worship area into a reception area for rental.  Thus it's not as surprising that the Duggars are not as reverent in church as many expect.  They used to use a warehouse after all.

It's sad and I don't mean to laugh at her but Michelle has legitimately lost her mind. Her behavior is very strange.

These days she mainly just nods emphatically with this stupid grin on her face.

Michelle has never recovered from Jubilee, Josh molestation exposure and then Josh the cheating freak. Cancellation of the show.  People dislike her and she is actually aware enough to know it and be affected by it.

I don't think Michelle knows what to do anymore when the cameras are on her.  She is afraid of more disaster so resorts to smiling and nodding.  Low profile.

And, she is also nuts.

I think you're right on all points.  She wasn't like this in the beginning.  She was more animated and even engaging sometimes.  I feel like she's walking on eggshells so as not to offend anybody, mess up or turn people against this current show.  It's so obvious that she'd be okay with never appearing on camera again.  She seems so fragile.

Until you brought this to my attention, I'd never really given it a thought.  But now my heart kind of breaks for Michelle.  With all she's gone through and probably menopausal too, it's a wonder she can function mentally at all.  Some women breeze through menopause, and some women (like my mother) almost lose their mind.  My mother told me that when she went through menopause, she felt the urge to just walk out of the house, leaving her babies and never look back.  This was way back in the day before treatment and stuff.  She said it took everything within her to maintain her sanity.  So maybe Michelle deserves our compassion and prayers rather than beat-downs.  I ragged on her too and because of what you pointed out, I am now ashamed.

I think you are on to something here. The men in the Duggar cult do a great deal of female shaming. I can't imagine how terribly women are devalued after their baby making years have ended. I think Michelle wants to feel invisible because that's how she is made to feel. Jill, take heed -- you may be feeling smug and self-important right now because your fertility is on display, but this is what your future looks like.

One thing I forgot to mention earlier in regards to the shower. I wish these girls would realize that unless everyone gets to participate in the games, it's really boring to be a guest and sit there through endless rounds of "who knows Jinger and Jeremy best". When I looked at the people at the surrounding tables, everyone was propping themselves up by their elbows and fighting to keep their eyes open.

I also agree the flower wall was a complete waste of time and energy. I actually felt bad for the kids who got roped into making that thing because you know it got chucked into the church dumpster at the end of the night.

Michelle is just a shadow of who she used to be.  She looks completely off her game.  PTSD?

As an ex IFB, I feel bad for her because mental health issues are not treated and the person is shamed instead.  You would be _______ if you just prayed more and followed God's will.

Forgive me but what does IFB stand for?

I see a big difference in Michelle also.  I really think the Joshgate issues affected her much more deeply than we know.  Walking on eggshells is exactly what I see and she never offers an opinion not even on her daughters wedding dress.

I do feel bad for Michelle at times. She does need some serious therapy. Oh heck, the whole family needs some major therapy. My problem with Michelle is the fact she calls out certain groups of people and calls them child rapists and molesters and tells them their are evil and are ruining the world while she covered up the fact her son is a molester and goes along with blaming women who have been molested, raped and sexual abused by men. She also wants to take away certain people's rights and act like she is superior to everyone who does not agree with her. She loves being the center of attention and uses her children and grandchildren to get the attention. She is entitled to her opinions, but she also does not mind using others to further her religious and political opinions.

Once again, in their interview at the end, Babe made it clear that he's in no hurry to produce his very own howler....we'll see if I'm wrong because next week is sure to produce an announcement of some sort; although I'm thinking based on the foreshadowing, it'll be Joy and Austin's engagement and not a Laredo Little One....

Michelle has looked heavily medicated all season. For me, it was never more apparent than during the dress buying trip when Jinger was asking her to help in the dressing room and Michelle was completely tuned out. Jessa had to practically clap her hands in front of Michelle's face to break the benzo haze before telling her to go with Jinger.

I did think she looked pretty at the wedding, mullet and orange spray tan aside. That jewel toned purple was a good color for her and a nice change from the orange and lime frump shirts.

So the flowers were ready on a couple of days before the wedding and had to be stored so they wouldn't die, but the ladies were making the wedding cake and cupcakes the morning of? Did they miss the ceremony to bake? Or am I just confused by the supposed timeline??

I only thought that Jing might be her parent's favorite since she had an actual decent wedding and reception. Well I'm assuming there was food other than the sketchy cupcakes and it wasn't held in a parking lot.

It may be that Boob and MEchelle have learned a few things from Jill's and Jessa's weddings (learned from their mistakes), and Jinge benefited from that. And Babe is stronger willed and expected more.

Tham thar Eyetalians expect to be properly fed at any wedding they attend. You'd better damn skippy have China, crystal, and silverware and a meal fit to choke a pig or just don't bother. Otherwise, you will be talked about in unflattering ways among friends and family all the remaining days of your life!

What she went through after Josie's birth also took a toll on her, I'm certain.  That baby was very seriously ill and needy for a long time.  Michelle has been through some difficult shit in the last few years, no doubt about it.  I think that's why Jana won't even consider leaving the nest.  She, probably more than anyone, knows just how unstable Michelle is.

Duggars feed on the last minute drama and tasks.

I'm not  a professional baker, but for a naked cake ( one w/o frosting) I do think you can bake and freeze the layers ahead of time and put the berries on close to serving time. Berries might run, if they are on a cake too long. Cupcakes I know you can do ahead of time.

Here's their cake , curtesy of people magazine. Did they have only the one cake?

Sorry, I know its traditional and looks pretty but I don't like real flowers on a cake. put them in a pretty arrangement on the table.

Is this the end of the season?

I thought they said next week is the finale- honeymoon & Austin asking Joy to court. Real cliffhangers.

What is is with these people? Every time there is a prewedding gathering, they have to go around & say how special Jinge is, how they will miss her and couples that have been married just 2-3 years giving their words of wisdom.  Oh, can't forget the Date Night suggestions.  Like another poster said Date Nights are big for these people cuz they finally get to date AFTER marriage. What ever happened to "Good Luck," "Congratulations" & "Best Wishes?"  That's the only "advice" Mr. Barb & I got 32 years ago. It seems to have worked.

Maybe now that I'm pushing 40 I'm becoming an old fuddy duddy, but are Date Nights supposed to be some sort of big production that must be shared on social media? Are there really so many different suggestions and options that 200 women could each write something different and throw it in the jar? My husband and I love going to the movies, but I don't usually capture the moment with a hashtagged selfie of us sharing a Slurpie and nachos in the theater.
