I liked it because it wasn't quite so heavy on the biometric mirror pool shit. Less Marissa is better. I like it when Bull is just reading people and talking to people.

Considering how good Bull is at reading people, it makes me question the need for Marisa and her magic watches at all.

I liked that Cable wasn't automatically the Titanfall expert - making her a little less Mary Sue - and Chunk was really into it. Also, no "gamer girl" drama. Finally, a show that didn't feel the red to show how supportive they are of gamer girls and paint gaming as misogynistic. This girl who games is sure tired of that trope.
