methodwriter85 January 22, 2017 Share January 22, 2017 I re-watched the pilot today and decided to chase down the ending montage song. (Which was re-used in The Right Thing To Do.) "Watch Me" by Labi Siffre I'm going to admit that I thought it was Cat Stevens or something. Color me surprised. That was definitely a brilliant montage. Link to comment
lizzyp February 5, 2017 Share February 5, 2017 They have done a masterful job of finding music that was ubiquitous but anonymous. Truly the soundtrack of the time. That song was familiar but not so known that it pulled me out of the moment, which seems like exactly what the music should do. Link to comment
methodwriter85 February 23, 2017 Author Share February 23, 2017 I know it might be too meta for the show, but I am fucking dying for them to have Mandy sing her cover of "Have A Little Faith in Me." Or "God Only Knows", but I'm not sure if it fits Rebecca/Jack the way I think "Have A Little Faith In Me" does. Link to comment
methodwriter85 March 11, 2017 Author Share March 11, 2017 We got to hear our first grunge period song on this show! It was such pleasant surprise, because this show's soundtrack really favors folksy 70's (or 70's inspired) stuff, so hearing this grunge classic was amazing! When this song was on the radio, I can just remember being 10 years old and having my older sister explain to me that this song was about a vampire convincing his love to join him in the afterlife. I wish I could've been college-aged during the grunge era. It must have been awesome. 1 Link to comment
