S13.E10: You Can Look (But You'd Better Not Touch)

Recommended Posts

I finally watched this.  Bailey's role seemed to be that of social commentator.  Arizona and Jo's roles seem to be that of internalizing the events to their own parent-child perspectives.  Jo might be starting to realize that she might have been wanted but not able to have been kept.  Arizona seems to start to feel discontented with the distance between herself and her daughter and how it is difficult to be a present parent from afar.  I don't really care what the patient did.  Arizona did come of harsh with her mother though.  It will be interesting to see what, if anything, comes out of the bottle(s) as the season progresses.

Considering this and future episodes where we meet other's parents, it seems that the second half of the season will have some parent-child relationship themes.

Just catching up on this on Netflix. I realize it was a narrative device to not say what she did, but it bugged me. I don't want to be so distracted by the story that they're not telling that it takes away my enjoyment of the story they are telling. In my imagination, it was one of those "murdered the girl that her boyfriend cheated with" kind of situations.

ETA: Bailey should have hired Eldredge to run the Denny clinic. She clearly knows how to manage with few resources!
