Also: A woman who became the victim of bullying is given a much-needed a confidence boost.

I'm not going to be watching this show, even the trailer makes me cringe. I wonder if she takes them to the doctor who did her coolsculpting? Khloe is the "fetch" of television, they keep trying to make her happen, & it's just not going to. I'll come here for the snark though :-)

Is this show even being promoted by E!?  It's definitely not getting the attention Rob & Chyna or I am Cait got.

UGH.  Does she mean "pounds"?  Why can't these people speak English?!?

Did anyone else watch this? For some reason, I love shows about people losing weight, so I was really looking forward to this. I thought it was pretty lame with all the over-the-top Kardashian love. I really hope that the girl in this episode (can't remember her name) was told to act like she knows so much about the Kardashians that she knows who their trainer, nutritionist, dermatologist, stylist, and pretty much everyone else they interact with are. I don't want to believe that there are actually young girls out there that obsessed with the Kardashians.

I also thought the whole concept of losing weight to get "revenge" on someone who hurt them was pretty lame because both of the people that were targeted for this revenge seemed to not give a shit. It made the participants seem a little pathetic.

I liked the girl in this episode and the trainer she had. It seemed like she actually had a lot of fun and really grew more confident by the end of it. The guy on the other hand didn't seem like he changed that much. I thought it was absurd when he said that he lost 50+ pounds of fat and gained 20+ pounds of muscle in 12 weeks. His before and after body tells a different story. He looks like he lost 30 pounds of fat, which is awesome enough...he didn't have to embellish it by saying he gained all this muscle when it was obvious he didn't.

I accidentally tuned in and caught a little.  I'm all for people getting healthier and more fit, but, the way they played Khloe like some kind of goddess was just sickening.  Granted, I can't stand the family, but, I was willing to give the show a shot.

Another thing that confuses me is how Khloe supposedly NOW thinks that she is all the rage. Like she used to be down there, but now she's up here.  Like being thin makes her somehow better.  Really?  What really confused me is how she is supposed to be so proud of her great body, but, her body language does not reflect that, imo.  To me, she acts like she's embarrassed of her behind.  She seems to turn away from the cameras and show a preference for hiding it.  I'm not sure if it's fake or not, but it seems to bother her. She acts like there's a stain on her pants and she's trying to not let anyone see it. I've noticed it before with her as well.  So, why BRAG about your body so much and do a tv show about how great your body is when you still have this hangup about your behind?

Oh, it's fake alright & if she was embarrassed by it, she shouldn't have had it enlarged to epic proportions.

You think? I just don't know.  It doesn't fit with the rest of her body.  Neither does Kim's.  I don't think Kourtney's is that way.  It's an odd thing to do to your body, imo.  I just don't get it.  Even if it's natural, get some help with it, if you're that embarrassed by it.

This was an embarrassingly shallow, lazy attempt to fill E!'s programming schedule and keep Khloe relevant for a few more weeks (about as long as this thing will air before getting the axe).

Unnecessary footage of the production crew setting up every scene Khloe is in, primping and posing her like she's about to walk a red carpet....yet when she sits down to listen to her protégée's sob-stories, she can't muster the slightest interest, even though they've finished gushing over her for 10 minutes.

Spoiler

"Mmmmmmm" she says as Will cries about Kyle, like someone's holding a chocolate cake just slightly out of the shot.  She pops up here and there during Will and Stephanie's makeover segments (but surprisingly not the workout segments - isn't she some big fitness guru now?) and can't be bothered to attend Will's big reveal.

Worst part of the show is that

Spoiler

it can't even deliver on that big Revenge moment.  Will's ex is a no-show.  Stephanie's ex-BFF did show up, but denies having said mean things to Steph, and doesn't seem to acknowledge Steph as more than an acquaintance.  That whole scene was incredibly cringey, especially since E! decided to hire a bunch of Hollywood hard-bodies to stock the pool party.  Losing 27 lbs is a great accomplishment but probably doesn't feel like it when you're sandwiched in between half a dozen models.

So I was initially bothered by Khloe not showing up to the reveal parties but I'm actually glad she didn't.  The focus of those events is supposed to be the person who got in shape, not the Kardashians.

I was really hoping that the girl's makeover would include hair coloring to fix those awful roots, but apparently not.

Besides name recognition, the only thing that Khloe has contributed to the show is insight into how jealous she's always been of Kim. It was presented as normal, but I was really bothered by how freely she admitted to being secretly happy when Kim was heartbroken. IMO, that's a really ugly emotion that she should be working out in therapy and not telling young people that the way she overcame it is by becoming hot herself. It's obvious that she gave this same advice to Kylie who was also deemed the "ugly sister" and now is happy because she changed her body. The Kardashian family is very bizarre.

I knew going into it that the show was going to be shallow, but it still managed to surprise me with how shallow it was. The participants were young, so I understand their desire to "get revenge" on people who made them feel like they weren't hot enough, but as a woman in her 30s, it was embarrassing for Khloe to be encouraging that attitude. What that amounted to in the end is the pathetic realization that the participants had each fixated on one person as a huge factor in their life while both the ex-friend and ex-boyfriend likely hadn't given a 2nd thought about them and were just living their lives. The revenge is hollow because the targets don't even care.

I didn't see Khloe's comments about Kim as her taking pleasure in Kim's misery. I interpreted her comments to mean that if someone as (supposedly) perfect as Kim had body image problems and other insecurities, maybe it wasn't so terrible that Khloe had them as well and maybe, like Kim, Khloe wasn't the really the beast she thought she was.  I found it a somewhat surprising and refreshing burst of honesty.

I am also bothered by the "revenge body" dynamic going on here. I know that the show needs some sort of organizing principle to set it apart, but that one does make me feel kind of icky.

Does anyone think that maybe this Kyle person doesn't actually exist?

In this modern era of revenge porn and doxxing people who you feel have done you wrong (or even just rebuffed your advances) it's incredibly tone deaf for E! and their sponsors to endorse any show advocating retaliation.

Kyle: When his voicemail announcement went off it sounded overdubbed, super perky, I don't recall he actually said "Hi, it's Kyle, leave a ..."  I really go the feeling they had some PA record that.  There was at least one pic of Will and some guy dressed kinda couply matchy-matchy so he may have had a boyfriend at some point recently.  I just seriously doubt that a Bear, who is into bears, would dump their bear, for looking even more like a bear.

418,000 viewers for this one.

Lesbian couple decides to lose weight together, one drops out, and the producers play it off like they decided to work out with separate trainers and completely avoid each other for the duration of the regimen.  They reunite and the one that dropped out doesn't look like she's lost any weight at all, but hey they got to promote Dodgers stadium (why Rob's hat is no longer blurred out in Rob & Chyna) and they get engaged with a ring there is no way they could afford (more product placement) and who were they getting revenge on again?

OK. I haven't seen any of the other episodes so not sure how this compares.

Sukhda was so there just for the cameras. Watching too much Kardashians and Shahs of Sunset.

Didn't like the pseudo therapy with Jill - had to mute it. Loved how hard she worked. Not sure what all those leg treatments were but at least she got some expensive stuff done since none of the K sisters did it all on their own. Didn't like her reveal outfit. Looked like something Khloe would wear. Maybe a tad bit longer? But she looked good and guess she'll be keeping it up now that she's working for the personal trainer.

Muscle Cub? Guy looked like a full on bear when he started the process. A little chubby still at the reveal but definitely better.

DUFF - Her friend still doesn't seem interested. I was very happy for her to hear that MATE is allowing her to continue working out there. She really put herself into it.

It was interesting to see someone actually wash out of the program - I don't know if I've ever seen that before.

I'm sure it was staged.  The casting application was exhaustive - you'd think they'd have weeded out the ones who were just there for the cameras.

Episode #3 was ranked #66 for Thursday night cable and a whopping 356K viewers.  Down almost half from the premiere numbers.  She's almost in Kocktails territory now.  Who thinks this thing will get axed in the next week?  What excuse will they give this time?  Khloe has first billing as executive producer so she had Kontrol here.

Did anyone else notice that the woman with the dark hair (started using drugs when she was 12) didn't seem to lose any weight?  She sure had a strong girdle game going on at her big reveal lunch (funny to watch her have some issues trying to sit down with her back completely straight).  No changes to her neck and her side boob over the top of the girdle/corset was like a shelf.  So Khloe will keep her and Nicole (the lesbian who proposed who also didn't seem to lose any weight) but kick off the Indian girl.  I wonder what really went down there.

And E! has pushed this show to the 9pm slot.  Wonder if they think they can get more viewers that way or are inching this to the graveyard.

Khloe is hard to watch. The primping and fake empathy under what seems to be contempt.

The show's concept is not terrible. I like seeing the various trainers and diet changes. Don't like Khloe, the producer asking if the contestant is excited, the primping chair where Khloe interviews the contestants, or the revenge aspect. The show should be renamed "Time for a Change" and have a new host that is not so full of herself. Or, have a contest between trainers, dieticians, and glam squads each week.

I wouldn't be surprised if the contestants only did a couple of on-screen workouts with these celebrity trainers and were pushed off on "regular folks" trainers the rest of the time.  A few of the contestants didn't appear to lose much weight at all (definitely not what they claimed at the end) and were girdled-up for the big reveal.

Her body language is very interesting.  She leans really far back in her chair, she sits very stiffly with her arms folded across her stomach like she's trying to hide something.  On one hand she looks like she's waiting on her throne for someone to kiss her ring, on the other hand she looks really insecure and uncomfortable.

Kim and the Cheban show up to tell a young man, who lost both parents, living out of motels and scourging for food ( and reading between the lines possible prostitution) to just “Flip it”,  and get over his depression and current lifestyle and be fierce.  I hate everyone who is involved with this $hit show.  Cheban?!?  Are you serious?  Also, Kanye spent over a week in a psych facility.  One would think she’d have a little more empathy, that you can’t just get over life long trauma, or the after effects, when your fashion guru and her hanger on insist that you do. You think Kim has any real empathy or understanding of Kanye’s mental issues?  All she sees is how it affects her and her kids.Watching her on the show, I see a woman bored and frustrated, in what she feels should be the most exciting time of her life, married to a big shot famous rapper and hanging with her “crew” and being photographed.  The irony is that she’s become what she used to mock Kourtney for, a boring, unfun mommy.

Even her trauma as a victim of a robbery couldn’t make her have any sympathy for this guy.  Only Kim is allowed to wallow in self pity.

I don't know why but I really like this show. Not a fan of the K's, but I like to see people changing their lives. So far, pretty much everyone has kept up the weight loss on the updates. I'm also glad they've kicked people off that don't take it seriously and are just there to be on TV. This is just a generic show though, it's not much special to the Kardashians or anything.
