All Episodes Talk Season 4

Recommended Posts

New season starts March 8, which I found out is a continuation of season 4. I am doubly excited because Todd and Julie have moved into a house just a few minutes from my aunt's home, at Governor's Towne Club in Acworth, GA. I don't know if they filmed there or not....I think not or we'd have seen tons of trucks and crew around. I think they are still filming in the rented house.

Correction to my earlier post about a "new" house. No, the photo I was shown (which was blurry) is the same one they've been shooting in. But it is in Acworth, which is north of Atlanta.

I enjoyed watching Chase try to steal Dad's clothes and being handed one roll of toilet paper through the door. Savannah is truly a beautiful young lady.

Tonight's episode was hysterical with Todd and Chase and the tattoo and subsequent tattoo removal! lol  At first I wondered it was another fake tattoo just for the sake of the show but either Chase is an excellent actor, or he was really going through tattoo removal!!! :D LOL

My guess is that it was a tattoo he had for a while, and they pretended it was new when Todd found out for the sake of the show. There is no way that was a new tattoo- nice try with the red make-up, but that was a healed tattoo. Notice that they never actually showed the tattoo while it was being "made", but they did show it as it was getting removed. The latter did indeed look far more convincing.

The tattoo removal looked incredibly painful. I think Todd was a dick to laugh when his son was hurting.

It seems like Todd is setting his bets on Savannah to keep this show going.....when actually Chase and Grayson are more fun and interesting.

I thought Todd bought Savannah a house to live in, and now she has a condo? Must be nice to have tv money. Also, Savannah wouldn't be lonely if she lived in the dorms with regular college girls. She is looking much older with the heavy make up and overly- dressed fashion-mag clothes. Her hair needs to grow out a little too. Overall, she looks 35, not 18.

Both Savannah and Chase are too heavily into material goods-- clothes, looks, cars, high-priced condos snd restaurants, etc. Comes from Todd being so superficial.

Yes, they're religious, too. I'm sure they're grateful for it all. It might be nice to show them doing something for the community or their family that wasn't based on buying stuff or their looks.

I love the dog and Chase. Chase is hilarious and that dog is so precious.

And by the end of this show Todd has got to do something with his "southern expressions," he  must compile them into something for sale,

"split hell wide open..." OMG, they're so funny.

That TV Station has a jewel in Chase. If the internship is for real, I think he will do well. He has comedic timing like Todd.

Faye...Faye...Faye. Rolled in the floor and had to grab my sides.

Give me more of Italian Waiter.

Looks like Grayson gets to do a TH next week.

Chase was fine and did well on his own show. Chase with the animals was so funny!

Todd was insufferable barging in on Chase's parade. Not so funny when the kids are grown.

Faye is awesome! Think we're being setup to see a trip to Italy for the family? Julie sure got a kick out of Faye's eye-talian.

Savannah has got to work on her voice--the high pitch was painful when she was on Chase's show. And when she was chiding Chase on the couch. Slow down and be mindful of your pitch, honey.

The way Faye fell last night (S 04, EP 05), she had to have hurt her knee. They played it off as being funny, but that had to hurt, older or not (I don't like thinking of 70's as old, my mom is 61 and I can't imagine her aging that much in 10 or so years, but I know it can happen; I've also never thought of that as old any way, "old" is 90-something!)

Her talking about having a little drink and the casino was a riot!

I agree. I'm 61 and it's not old. ...I hope to stay active as much as possible, so I work out at least 3 days a week. Old is 90's now.

Todd is getting to be unlikable with his imprisoning Faye, and I get that it's for the show, but it's no wonder his kids keep secrets from him. They really needed to help Faye on that scooter like teaching a kid to ride a bike....falling down can be potentially bone-breaking, as Faye and you noted above. Especially on hard wood floors.

Otherwise , Chase is becoming the star of this show. ..he s fun and real. Savannah is getting to be a nag.

My mom is also 61 and she exercises a few times a week with a good, brisk walk, at least a mile long. :-)

Even when I was little and my grandma was that age (70's), I never thought of her as old.  I thought Todd trying to "hover" and be a "helicopter parent" of his own mom was comedic, but I didn't think the fall was at all.  As I mentioned, that was a hard, hard fall, or least it looked like it. I'm in pretty good health and have fallen on hard surfaces lately and really bruised my knee to the point of it swelling as well.  It looks like she took the brunt of it on her knees, which, though 71 isn't old, is old enough to not need direct trauma to an area required for good mobility, that really hit me wrong.

I know it's been mentioned maybe Savannah has a deviated septum, but her voice hurts my ear drums.

I really adore this show, though, and I agree with you about Chase, he's really coming into his own.

Faye is just hilarious. I'd drive her around any day and be her partner-in-crime.

It looked to me like Linsie and Todd both were pushing Faye to help her get rolling on her new bike. I didn't see anything deliberate or malicious.

Faye's been banned from Harrah's casinos, I wonder which one she's going to now?

Why was she banned?

I think cook's mentioned in the "All the Kids, and Granny too!" thread that Faye and some friends had been caught cheating, to the tune of large sums of money.

Yep! She knows all about the karma she mentioned to Todd.

Spoiled kids on display. Savannah whines abt babysitting Grayson and his friends cuz she's so busy with her full-time job of college--" homework, study groups, and friends. " Poor thing! Daddy pays for college and her own condo.

The move to Nashville had got to be for a lower priced home, not just for Savannah, cuz she doesn't want them there. BTW, she needs voice lessons stat, cuz it's painful to listen to her nagging tone. She complains ALOT.

This show, or Todd and Savannah, are starting to be unlikable, not funny, and extremely superficial.

The house they were packing up.... they don't own. It's rented for the show. The house they are moving to in Nashville for filming is also a rental. I am guessing they'll be filming in both locations as Chase will constantly be into some new scheme with Granny trying to keep an eye on him.

Last night's episode about buying a smoothie business was so contrived and unbelievable. The show is losing it's charm with so many fake storylines. Even the home production is renting for them to film in, in Nashville, is obviously for filming the show and they don't live there. No photos on the walls, no personal items anywhere. Stark kitchen. I'd rather see them in a modest home, with a real business (whatever happened to the clothing store??) than all of the fake stuff they are doing now.

Yeah, I noticed that the house was pretty empty.  What difference does it make?  All their houses look alike.

Savannah needs a voice coach stat and to step away from the eyeliner.

Julie needs concealer under her eyes or to wipe the smeared mascara off--doesn't she look in a mirror?  Or has Todd monopolized them all?

Chase will save this show cuz his reactions are so genuine and not poorly acted like Todd, Julie, or Savannah.

It was kinda funny that as I was explaining to my friend about Nanny cheating at the casinos, that she started to teach Grayson about loan sharks.

I got that vibe too but I still couldn't help but laugh at so much in the episode (Todd bopping Chase with the swinging door, haha!). To this day, I have no real idea who these people are or why they're on TV but they are just naturally funny, scripted or not. And Chase is somehow the right amount of jerk and charming. I always look at him thinking I don't like him...but I'm wrong.

Did I see Savannah in a commercial for some USA show I don't watch? Royal Pains, maybe?

These last two episodes with the wrestling and smoothie schticks didn't make me laugh even once. I usually roll through the entire episode.

womp womp womp, what a disappointment.

I laughed at the smoothie episode, but most because of Grayson and Nanny.  For some reason her telling that little boy that loan sharks bust kneecaps over delayed payment had me laughing SO HARD

Chase: I'm leader of the pact.

Savannah: It's pack.

Chase: Whatever it is, I'm the leader.

The kids make this show. And Todd always knowing every move they make, which we know is scripted.  But it reminds me of the days  my parents always knew what I was up to. That's what makes this show so popular.

This show isn't as fun as it used to be.  I still love it but some parts are just not fun.  I think Grayson is a spoiled to the point of being a brat.  He is indulged to where he doesn't have to answer for anything.  I get giving your child everything but they still should know how to do some things and have some chores to keep them grounded.  He couldn't sweep a garage and then blowing that leaf blower in Todd's face and getting away with it.  That's not cute tv, I don't think, that' indugling a brat to continue their brattiness.  But then again who would he fear?  Julie taking him to lunch or Todd staring at him.  Must be me because I don't like kids acting like that. Oh well.  Love Faye

Watching the marathon today, the earlier seasons were so funny. Maybe my all-time favorite episode was Nanny renting the Corvette for Chase, and then driving off to Palm Springs (whether fictional or not). So much funny in that episode: Nanny telling Chase that people will think she's driving around with a gigolo, Chase all grossed out. The episode where Todd makes Savannah go on her first date with an older boy with Nanny, and Nanny ends up at the bar chatting up a guy who looks about her age. Yes, there is so much contrived, but I still enjoyed it. Agree that the wrestling and juice bar episodes were mostly lame, with a few highlights.

Major Bigtime, thank you for the link regarding the location of the juice bar.  After re-watching a couple of the juice bar episodes, however, I think it might be located in The Gulch.  The reason I say this is because I caught a glimpse of Two Old Hippies.  I'm going to drive down there is a few days and check it out for myself.  I'll report back!

The show is not nearly as funny as it used to be.  Todd keeping such a tight rein on Chase and Savannah at their ages just doesn't cut it anymore.  But I'll still watch every time it's on the air.

Savanah and Chase bickering like 13 year olds is not funny. They cd argue, but they're sniping insults at each other, that's all.  they need to grow up. They look super-spoiled....which they are,  religious beliefs aside.

I know most of this is for tv, but I find it interesting that Todd spends most of his time on Savanah.  The 10 years of horse back riding, pageants, makeup treatments.  don't really blame Chase for feeling like the unwanted step-child.  I agree with the comments above, earlier episodes were funnier

Nanny Faye is the best part of the show!  I love Todd, too.  Staged, scripted, whatever.  I get a genuine belly laugh from every episode.  Can't say that about sitcoms.

Could not agree more. I don't care if it's staged and scripted, it's funny as hell.

Chase is so honest abt himself that I like him. Savannah whines and insults him too much.

Nice that she wakes up with makeup on-- she is bad at acting asleep even.
