The women celebrate the queen's birthday in London; Marissa and Sophie rediscover their wild sides; Juliet asks Caroline Stanbury and Caroline Fleming to join her for a trendy pub crawl, but their happy hour is ruined when bickering ensues.

Caroline S. is just a sour, miserable person. Is it mostly stemming from her upcoming move to Dubai? All of the talk about Caroline Fleming and Jules trying to control her and tell her what to do. Get over it! Who cares?! She seems irrational. She is seriously becoming unhinged. Is she nice to anyone??

I can't help but like Caroline F more and more.

And yikes.  Caroline S is so full of herself.   Hm, when you stay at someone's home, it's not all about 'you'.  It's also about respecting the other person's home.  Jules' rules were not unfair in any way.  With that said, your lateness was totally rude...to the host and to the other guests at Mapperton.

I don't know how I feel about Marissa leaving her baby to to to the Hamptons.  But heck, I wouldn't have left a healthy infant.

I think Caroline S was full of it about Sophie's child's birthday party.  She could have called.  And is Caroline S that busy she couldn't have risen above it all and brought her children herself?  Children come first?  Doesn't seem so with Caroline S.

Caroline was insufferable!  She just keeps going on about the same things, complaining over and over to everyone, and all of it sounds more stupid and boring the more she talks about it.  She seems incapable of talking about anything but herself and how she has been wronged so terribly, and wants everyone to agree she's right and has a right to keep whining about it.

Things I never need to hear about again: Marisa's sex life

I don't understand Caroline Stanbury. I envy the way she paints herself as the victim and manages to hog the spotlight with her champagne problems, but I don't follow her logic. She pretty plainly explained to everyone that she wants her minions to blindly follow her and Sophie is on the shitlist for having a mind of her own. I don't believe that should come as a surprise but I'm also shocked that Caroline's friendships have lasted this long.

Marisa and Juliet continue to bore me to tears. I would not miss them if they casually got demoted to "friend of" or even written off altogether. Juliet's fashion career is a dud. She's a mom with a blog.

Fleming is precious. I just love how she only experiences extreme feelings. She's devastated to miss Marisa's party and adores the pub they went to. Normally that kind of hyperbole might bother me but she's so sincere and passionate about everything.

Loving the new/old Sophie. I think she's so fun and effortlessly beautiful. And boy do I feel bad for Stanbury with her frizzy mop of hair and filler face every time she shares a scene with Sophie. I would not be surprised if jealousy is the real root of their issues.

I will admit that I only watch this show sporadically so maybe I have missed something but why does Juliet need a blog assistant and a branding manager? Her 'hobby' blog is apparently now a career, but she only manages to find time to write three times a week? I appears that her assistant is the actual writer since Juliet could not even remember the catch phrase of her blog.

Every time I watch this show (and last year as well) I am struck by how greasy and unkept the hair on these women looks (with the exception of Sophie). Their hair looks clean and styled in their THs but in their day to day scenes it looks like they haven't washed their hair in weeks. Juliet's is particularly bad. Yuck!

I wonder if Louise moved to Denmark because of her dad's health issues.

The music on this show is dreadful.

Juliet a blog is not a full time job. My boyfriend came in when she was talking about her blog and mentioning Anna Wintour "Even I know that Anna has a high powered full time job that influences the fashion world, this woman provides free text to a handful of followers."

Also, saying that your friends are "controlling" because they want you to show up on time at places/events etc. is completely ridiculous.

Juliet really showed how stupid she is. Is she for real? Her daughter is adorable, though.

Marissa is boring. Even her face is boring.

Stanbury, shut up you sour bitch. I think you're the one that needs an orgasm, not Fleming. Speaking of Fleming and orgasms, what happened to that super young boy toy boyfriend she was so madly in love with last season? Not a word spoken about him. Must have been an ugly breakup.

I couldn't think of anything I would like to do less than getting shitfaced in the middle of the day in some ping pong pub. These women are just too old for that. Oh no, I'm starting to sound like Stanbury.

Honestly, I watch this show for London porn, so I have no idea why Caroline S is pissed off because I choose not to listen too closely. Something about rules and not having her back I guess. Whatever, go to Dubai an don't let the door hit you on the way out.

My ears cannot unhear Marissa talking about her sex life.

Very little Julie in this ep, for which I am grateful.

Sophie, Adela, and Julie need to stop trying to apologize to Caroline. Loved how Caroline waved off Sophie telling her that she was upset about the b-day party, yet every perceived slight that Caroline S has  must be categorized and each person must be taken to task item by item. What a bitch.

I am liking Caroline F more and more. She doesn't take Stanbury's shit and always seems sweet to the others. Sophie was cracking me up when she got wasted at the ping pong palace.

Things I love about this show: London, the fact that the girls like to drink and have fun. I swear I sit there and try to identify the places where they are so I can visit when I'm in London.

Things I could do without: Caroline S. and her minion.

ETA - I agree with the poster above who hates the music. It's like  faux Spice Girls. Awful

Ugh, me too. She is nasty and worse than Caroline S. I do not like how she treats Juliet; who, I know, is annoying, but Marissa is two-faced. "She's coming over but I wish she wasn't and then I'm going to sage the house when she is gone. "You're late and don't touch my baby cuz you are dirty and also, I heard you didn't like that I left my almost-died baby to go to schmooze in the Hamptons so you are the worst."

No Julie! Win.

Fleming vs. Stanbury was like watching a mom go up against her rebellious daughter. "You're taking away my individuality!" Is she for real with this shit? I wanted Fleming to tell her yes, she is trying to change her, because Stanbury is nothing but a rude, entitled pain in the ass.

I felt uncomfortable watching Sophie and Marissa toss back shots in front of the recovering addict. I'm glad Adela removed herself from that situation. I actually thought it was inappropriate for them to invite Adela out with them, since they went with the sole purpose of getting drunk.

Juliet and Marissa are just not compatible as friends. They can be in the same social circle and be friendly, but being besties isn't going to work.

Can the producers stop giving them props that have the British flag emblazoned on them? I get it, they're in London, not every cup or umbrella needs to feature the Union Jack.

Me too.  TMI to the max. I think she was the one who started the rumor about why Carolyn S was moving to Dubai.  Not that I can stand Carolyn S.  Also, Marissa is the poster child for 2 faced.  I felt for her, early in the season, about her baby and health issues.  The Good will I felt, is now gone.  Also, what is Juliet's purpose except to be Carolyn S's yesman?

I think, for all she protests, Carolyn S has royals envy.  She seems to put the most hate onto Julia and Carolyn F. Both people with titles.

I think a few things are going on. It was revealed that Sophie's husband left her which I didn't know. Sophie portrayed it as them growing apart or even her getting tired of his partying ways. If Sophie's husband (Caroline Stanbury's brother) left her or wanted out of the marriage that certainly puts a different spin on things. Sophie could subconsciously be taking out her hurt on Caroline - and sort of pushing her away.

That said, as much at it pains me to do it. I do see Caroline Stanbury's point about Sophie and Julie. Although, I don't think she's articulating it very well. If you don't get a long with someone - the way Caroline and Julie clearly just don't mix. There is no need for your best friend to be mean or rude to that person (as that is very immature) but I think most people would feel a bit weird about their best friend actively pursuing a friendship with a person they don't get a long with.

I think Sophie is very sensitive and is hurting. But ultimately, there is a reason that she and Caroline have been friends for so long and hopefully they'll make up.

My guess is that both being Americans in London, they had an initial bond. But with the passing of time, it became clear that they are not suited as friends. And there's nothing wrong with that. I wish the show would stop trying to amp up drama where there is none.

I enjoyed this episode as it was the right mix of fun and drama for me and, of course, the london scenery.

I wish Juliet would shut up about her stupid blog.  She keeps saying how busy she is and then when she meets with her "team" she has nothing to say and they actually have to tell her point blank to write a blog . . . Wait for it . . . About london style.  WTF?!

I found it interesting all the speculation about Marissa starting rumors about Caroline S but when Fleming met with Marissa it was Fleming who initiated the rumor discussion.  And when Marissa says "yeah, I heard that too", Fleming gets all stink face about what Marissa said when Fleming started it.  Wonder if the girls are trying to shade Marissa or if production is driving this story line.

That was really, really low of Stanbury. I was shouting at the tv when she said that, after I got over the initial shock. I don't know if it's the move to Dubai or if she's gunning for B*tch of the Year, but the woman has issues.

I liked seeing the more playful (drunk) side of Sophie and I love her hair! I also loved how she called Alex to ask for the trainer's number. She's much more enjoyable than when she is with Caroline S.

Juliet looked ridiculous in that getup. Then these women are calling themselves cool? Um, okay.

Fleming is like happy, hippie child and whatever she is on, I want some! LoL. I like her and Marissa the best because even though they went through/are going through tough times, they won't take it out on those around them (::cough:: Caroline S.)

I actually think the blog is interesting and nice to look at, but I find it truly bizarre that all the pictures are of her and she alone models the clothes. Juliet is tiny, which is fine for jeans and short dresses, but she looks ridic in gowns. Check out the front page of her blog, she is wearing a purple velvet nightmare that looks like it escaped from a old movie theater. And it is miles too big.

I know nothing about making money off the Interwebs, but I have to ask, is a blog a business, I mean, does it make money? I presume that if it did, it would be from advertising. I see some, but is that enough to turn a profit? And she needs two, count em, two assistants? I thought she was a personal stylist. What happened to that?

Yes. A blog is something that can make money. Advertising is usually the main revenue source, but a blog can lead to other income streams. Perez Hilton is someone who started as an anonymous gossip blogger. He's now some measure of a celebrity. He's published a book, has acting roles, and a nationally syndicated radio show. Ree Drummond, Pioneer Woman, started as cooking/lifestyle blogger. She now has cookbooks, a tv show, and her own line of cooking products. The Petersiks of Young House Love were so successful in their other endeavors that developed because of their blog that they actually had to stop blogging for a while. Tom and Lorenzo have decreased some of their blogging because it was getting in the way the other work that developed because of their blog. They also have a book. Scott Schuman's blog, The Sartorialist, has led to opportunities working for Conde Nast, Vogue, GQ, and shooting advertising campaigns. He also has a book. PewDiePie makes millions on his video game blog. He also has a book. I don't know that I'd say that either had a formal video blog, but both Dylan O'Brien and Lucas Cruikshank used to regularly post videos on their YouTube channels that led directly to real acting opportunities, especially in Dylan's case.

I also am no model, but Juliet is not, erm, "aesthetically pleasing." I noticed even in the last season or so, her face looks too tight or pulled. She has permanent stank face going on. Her kids are the cutest- it'd be fun if she also had a mom blog or something and featured photos of her kids.

YES, thank you!!! That was so incredibly distasteful and Marissa proved what an ass she was here and when Adela was about to talk to Caroline S at her party last week ("take a shot...oh, wait, you can't"). Asshole.

Also, Marissa's constant "I want to party because I couldn't do anything for the last 9 months" is starting to grate. Enough already, you had a huge party where you got shitfaced. Move on.

Also, leaving to party in the Hamptons mere days after the baby was hospitalized? Yeah, I'm going to judge you for that too.

She potentially could make money if she's promoting specific pieces she wears and getting a cut of sales through an affiliate link. That's probably the best way to do it but I'm personally offended that she calls herself a stylist when all she does is get herself dressed and then pose for a picture in the street outside her house. She didn't even dress her friends before taking pictures at the pub crawl.

I love the fact that they were finally at places I'm familiar with in London.  Shoreditch!  Brick Lane!  That pub crawl looked fun, the best bars are in east London for sure.  Practically everything in the posh areas close at like midnight or earlier.  Lame.

Why can anyone never tell Caroline S that being late isn't controlling, it's about the fact that you don't care about other people or their time?

I also think Sophie is effortlessly beautiful, and can someone remind Caroline S that she's moving to Dubai, and maybe Sophie realized she might want new friends to fill in that gap once she leaves.  God, this bitch is the most selfish person I've ever watched on television, and that includes Vicki Gunvalson.

Loved hearing Juliet's description of her blog and how it went from hobby to career. All I could think of was Judge Judy asking her, "What do you get PAID for it? How are you making MONEY?"

She needs a brand manager and assistant because she runs and household (ok), is an engaged mom (fine), and... walks the dog (uh, what? No.). Like Caroline S., life is hard for Juliet.

While the above is true, these "I started a blog and now I'm rich and famous" examples are the exception, rather than the rule. The blogosphere is littered with abandoned blogs that made their founders zero money. Juliet is probably making some money, due to her platform on Ladies of London, but I doubt there is worldwide, organic interest in photos of her walking and standing ad nauseam.

Marissa mentioned that they try and take trips with each of the boys alone after the baby was born.  This trip was supposed to have been planned before Sadie was sick.   They decided to keep their promise to their boy and make the trip.  They weren't gone long, it was just a long weekend I think, a few days.   The baby was in good hands with someone they trusted, and I think that people are unfairly dogpiling on Marissa for not canceling the trip or for not bringing the baby with.

Agree!  I didn't think I would care for Caroline F very much but she really does seem like a relatively laid back chick.  I also appreciate how much she seems to enjoy everything.

Wait, so Juliet has a blog assistant and a branding manager?  She has a brand?  A brand of what?  Crazy?  Unkempt?  It drives me CRAZY when people act so overwhelmed by their job - - in this case, a blog - - that she works on three days a week.  She's told she needs to devote an hour a day to it and Juliet looks all stressed and confused and tells us she has two children, a husband, etc.  Give me a fucking break.  An HOUR a day?  Big deal!  Her kids are in school.  Her husband travels for work.  Exactly what does she DO all day?

I like Marissa and I really think Matt seems like a great guy but I don't need to know how long it's been since they've had sex or anything like that.

I really disliked Sophie last year but she seems like a lot of fun now.  Especially compared to Caroline S., who has gotten much more bitter.  I'm thinking maybe she doesn't really want to move to Dubai, despite her claims about her fab new house, etc.

ETA:  I checked out Juliet's website.  It's not a bad site.  The main problem is that she doesn't post regularly.  I think she could do her "brand" some good if she got some of the Ladies to model for her, or even talk to them.  Julie, after all, is a Lady and the future Countess of Sandwich.  I'm sure she could give some etiquette tips a la LuAnn from RHONY.  Caroline F is Danish royalty.  Caroline S is fairly stylish. Marissa is a business owner.  Sophie always looks put together and she has small children.  Seems like she's missing some good opportunities.

As happy as I am to be ride of Stanbury, I would love a show which would follow her in Dubai, reacting to living in a society that is nothing but restrictive rules and laws.  Have fun, Stanbury.  Apparently, it's not easy to get your roots done in wonderful Dubai, with the gigantic home, and fancy car.

I don't think it's unfairly dogpiling on Marissa. She just filmed up to the door of the delivery room where she was perhaps about to die giving birth; then in tears related the horror of finding her newborn grey-looking and of rushing her to the hospital where they made it in time, (her words). So suffice it to say it was a head spinner to hear she went across the pond and left the baby pretty soon afterward. As a mom, I didn't understand it, and neither did Caroline F or Juliet or the other black haired woman who raised her eyebrows at it when she heard.

I've never had kids, but I sure wouldn't leave a newborn, at-risk kitten with a sitter, so even I am having a hard time seeing how a mom and dad could leave their newborn, at-risk baby at home with a nanny while they travel somewhere that would require at least a day for them to rush home if their baby had another medical emergency.  I would expect other parents to give Marissa and her husband even more side-eye than I do.

Juliet needing 2 staff to post a few pics and write some words is hilarious - I have a friend with a job, husband, pet, house and child who puts way more crap on Facebook (her outfits and activities) in a day than Juliet does on her blog in a week!  With no assistance at all except for the 12 year old daughter :) :) :)

I think Sophie's body and hair are AMAZING - her face to me is like the Seinfeld ep where Jerry dates the girl who is attractive in certain lights and fugly in others. I don't know why.  I do think her face looks better this year than last - something's been done!

She asked why she didnt call her and talk about it instead of talking about her  ehind her back without knowing the details since they hadn't spoken in months.

Caroline S seems to want everyone's life to stop when she moves to Dubai, and she's pissed because people are already moving on.

Marissa continues to be a stealth bitch; I hope she & Matt do move to the US because she'd be off this show.

Stanbury is so angry and snappish. If you had a baby that was this agitated and inconsolable, you'd be at your pediatrician constantly. Yet she won't be vulnerable and admit that she isn't loving the idea of moving to Dubai. Her whole "I hate rules" shtick is the most juvenile and amateurish of misdirection. They touched on how ridiculous it is at the Mapperton dinner. Stanbury likes rules just fine when it keeps her cabbie from charging her £100 to drop her off at the pub. She loves rules when it means that her plane leaves on time or that her rented yacht gets to dock in St. Tropez. She adores her own rules when it means she gets to scold or banish one of her friends. I wish CarFlem had told Stanbury to go suck a lemon dessert.

I can't hate on Marissa's stealth bitchery when it's aimed at Stanbury and Juliet.

I don't know Marissa's money situation-- a lot or not-- but it seems like with a British hubby and that sneaky personality she'd fit right into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  I don't want to see that, but it seems like a better fit.  Her husband is English, right?  Or maybe French?  He's scruffy looking to me like Mauricio always is-- seems like they always look like they need a good scrubbing down, hair wash, and shave!

I agree. And that whole " Don't touch the baby" BS was so uncalled for.  I get that you don't want your baby to catch any illnesses and she has to be careful because of the baby's health issues but there is a much nicer way to say that. Both Marissa and her bitch face nanny were so damn mean to Juliet (who I don't even like but felt sorry for).  Also, if you're so concerned about the baby getting sick why in the hell are you traveling to another continent and leaving her?

Right?  If you're worried about the baby getting sick, either don't have visitors you don't want, or tell them in advance that they can't hold the baby.  I mean, if you invite me to see your baby, I'm totally okay with not touching it, like, ever, but Juliet is a mom who probably likes babies, so that was super rude.

Why can anyone never tell Caroline S that being late isn't controlling, it's about the fact that you don't care about other people or their time?

It's actually controlling of Caroline S to always be late. Everyone else has to stop what they're doing and just wait around for her to swan in at whatever time she's ready. Agree wholeheartedly that it's a lack orf respect for anyone else (I mean, 15-30 minutes is one thing, hours late is different.)

I wish someone would say, "dinner's at 7:00, sharp," and when she finally deigns to show up at 9:00, they're on the dessert course because they actually started at 7:00, instead of waiting for her to arrive and then serve. Rude to the hosts, other guests, and the staff (depending on the situation.)

I got the feeling it was more the nanny's concern than Marissa's.  Some nanny's are really hardcore and take control to ensure the baby's well being.  I had a friend who had twin girls and she had no problem letting friends and family hold them.  However, when she had her son he was a month premature.  She had a full time baby nurse that was both an angel and a tyrant.  When we came to visit we took off our shoes, put surgical booties on our feet, washed our hands up to the elbow and she still would not allow us to touch the baby.  My friend went along with it because she both loved and "feared" the nurse.
