Doing laundry so I've got TM2 in the background but I just noticed Kailyn and Jo were celebrating a kinder graduation. I thought we already saw a celebration of this sort when Javi was home! Gee! It's all starting to run together for me. I must say, Jo is really showing growth! He seems to appreciate the fact that Isaac enjoyed a close relationship with Javi. I wish Nathan could've taken a page from that. Even Jeremy acknowledged the twins when he saw them. Nathan is a prick.

Now this is what bothers me. The episode last night mentioned the girls going to their t-ball game. How is it Ali is still being allowed to play? That is both Cory and Leah's doing and I can support the idea these two are not seeing the bigger picture. Why don't they get her into other hobbies that are not taking a toll on her physically? Maybe they do and MTV just doesn't show it? Either way, I am not sure what it will take to ensure Ali has use of a chair during the week. Will she have to lose the ability to walk? I feel so bad for her.

And it's not like there aren't a wealth of other hobbies available. I don't get it. It seems willfully stupid. Maybe they only see sports or cheer as valid hobbies?

I think something really bad would have to happen for her to be able to use the wheelchair regularly. And the sad part is, I think they think they're doing her a favor by letting her run around for these few years. But what would be so much better for her in the long run would be actually having a quality life for a lengthy number of years. The only choice for that is the wheelchair.

@GreatKazu, I guess, but I would need evidence the other way since Corey previously called the wheelchair "giving up" (which I think is embarrassment and ableism) even after they were repeatedly told the need for it by the doctor, she's rarely in the wheelchair in any photos, and they both talked at the last reunion about her playing T ball. Now maybe he has had a major change of heart, but his opinion was always that she should use the wheelchair as little as possible, long after the doctor told them the opposite. If it's not embarrassment, maybe it's just laziness? Holding out hope *for their child* would mean using the wheelchair, not avoiding it.

I understand that parents are going to be upset but it's not about them anymore and it's been years. Their feelings don't matter, their child's health does. I haven't seen any evidence that either of them is good with the wheelchair and I don't know why it's at school since they have a wheelchair van, which is as expensive as a wheelchair itself, to transport it. Highly irresponsible and selfish. I hope that behind the scenes he's made a shift in his attitude for the sake of his daughter, and I think he has more of a chance of being responsible with it than Leah does, but I'm not going to assume anything.

I think Corey's refusal to use the chair (in the past, I don't know how he has managed in the last 2 years) is basically him shoving his fingers in his ears and saying 'LaLaLa can't hear you' to the doctor who has given Ali a very sad prognosis. Understandable that Corey would not want to believe the doctor is correct, but does not excuse irresponsible behavior. I think Corey is taking the fact that Ali can walk right now as "proof" that the doctor does not know what he is saying, and that Ali will only lose the use of her legs if she doesn't use them regularly.

It's also been years since Corey made the remarks about feeling that walking would strengthen her muscles, etc.  I hope, and think, that since time has passed and he spends more time with the girls, that he sees and better  understands the realities of his daughter's condition and takes care of her needs accordingly.  Cory is also able to pick her up and carry her, so maybe the chair isn't as necessary for her when it's his custody time as it is for Leah?  I don't think, though, that it's fair to judge his current actions and mindset on a comment made years prior especially since he's not on camera that often.

IMO, the chair should be wherever the patient is.  It's never made sense to me either, why they leave it at school since they both have vehicles that can easily transport it and she needs it.  Whether she can use it at Leah's impractical and inappropriate house is another question, but for sure she would need it when she leaves the house.

I agree, @Tatum, and I also think their lot has a distrust of educated people. Jeremy didn't want to go to therapy to see "some guy with a PhD" (he said derisively). While I can understand Corey's feelings to an extent, I do think sometimes he and Leah think they "know better" what's best for Ali. Than a specialist. And they...Don't.

Yes, I hope he changed his mind too. But his actions haven't shown he has. At all. I would think if you bought a wheelchair van, you'd use it, if he changed his mind. And maybe not let your kid do T ball?!?!

Ugh, this really grinds my gears. Hey Jenelle, Kail, Leah, Maci, Cate, and Amber:  you want to know what my "me time" as the parent of two small kids entails? The 8-10 hours I am at work every day, and then the 1-2 hours I sit in traffic commuting twice a day (1-2 hours total, not each way). When I do get my kids wrestled to bed each night, if I have energy, then I clean out the dishwasher, reload it, sweep the floor, fold laundry, pack lunches for the next day, etc. These bitches have babysitters and housekeeping help out the kazoo and they still only ever talk about how stressed they are.

Yes, yes, yes, and hell, yes.  Add to all of that the wonderful fun of tight finances and you have the reality of the vast majority of "regular" moms.  These girls have no clue whatsoever.

Jeremy can fuck right off. He was stepfather to the twins, now he barely manages to pat one on the head. And it seems the drama isn't going to be so much about his working, but the fact that he's more involved with his Ohio girlfriend and her child than his own. The twins have to wonder what shoe is going to drop next in their lives. At least they're going to move into a ranch house - bought or rented? How can a man live with those two little girls and then not give a damn?

Kail may seem a mess, but she really is doing well with those kids. And I like that she has finally accepted Jo and Vee as extended family. Javi is a little bitch, so I don't want to see him back on camera.

I'd like to see these girls do a version of Weekend at Cory's. Kail and Chelsea are very cute together ... I'd love to see how the others mix in. Let's toss in Amber and Cate and they can all have a little former (or not) addict talk around a campfire with Catelynn making quesadillas.

And let's not forget some of these girls don't have their kids full-time(Amber, Jenelle) or have split custody with the fathers. My daughter's father sees her one day a week and not at a specific time. Sometimes he shows up in the morning, sometimes the late afternoon so these girls can miss me with their stress and need for "me time".

Exactly.  They should try active mothering at least 80% of the time, plus working a full-time job, then bitch about "me time."

This is why I really wish the format of these shows was just a 16&P and ONE season of TM because their lifestyle as TMs is just not a true depiction of what a TM's life is like.

Really? It's really so easy!  Just buy the package of chicken tenderloins and drag them through some egg and breadcrumbs.  Bake in oven.  It's seriously 10 minutes of prep time!

I consider myself a pretty good cook but as evident by my supper last night.. I can't even roast potatoes properly so I have no hopes with chicken strips lol

I'm a bit of a batter snob too.... there are some restaurants who have some serious delicious batter on their chicken strips and I would be disappointed with anything but.

Get small ones, cut them in half and boil them first, then broil them to get that crisp - edge carmelization you're looking for. That's the restaurant secret. The less healthy version is to boil them, then sautee the exposed edge in a little butter or olive oil, THEN broil them, Roasted potatoes are almost never just roasted. They'd take a million years and be a little crunchy.

Watching Isaac break down at the table last night, I wonder if he knew Javi wasn't coming home and that the adults in his life were just putting him on. He's a smart, perceptive kid and I'm sure he's overheard dozens of Kail's conversations where she's bitched to her friends and talked about the upcoming divorce. I thought it was sweet when Jo tried to get his mind off it by telling Isaac how proud they were of him. I also liked that Jo didn't seem to take it personally that his son was crying over his stepfather. Jo's come a long way from the bratty punk he was on 16&P.

I felt so bad for Jo during that... I also wonder if Jo even heard him.  I'm sure he did but Isaac and Kail were being pretty quiet and behind the menu.  To her your kid say "i want my dad" instead of "i want my other dad here too" has to be heart breaking.  Or maybe it's because for some odd reason Jo reminds me of my brother a lot, just his mannerisms and facial expressions.

(Edited to add that Janelle's lawyer is chewing gum in the courtroom during testimony.  Wow, haha.  For once in my life, I have no words.)

At least she had a lawyer representing her interests, unlike the good people of South Carolina.  Actually Jenelle had two people at her table--were both lawyers?  Because two lawyers defending a case against a cop who looked like he was wearing a bulletproof vest that was so tight he couldn't breathe prosecuting the case?  I think even people who aren't Jenelle could have won that one.

Somebody said cops acting as prosecutors is a thing.  If I were criminally inclined, I'd make a point to ply my trade in one of those jurisdictions.  Although I think having an adverse witness with a topknot would probably work pretty well in any jurisdiction.

Honestly--why even waste resources on having a trial if that's all the effort you're going to put into prosecuting the case?

Man, the criminal justice system grates.

Exactly. I cannot fathom how Leah has it hard when she doesn't even have the girls all the time. As we saw, Adderrall wasn't even there. Leah doesn't do housework or laundry. She feeds her kids junk food and canned frosting so, there is no cooking going on. What the fuck is she doing with all her time and how is it she is so absent-minded? She is not a SAHM full-time. Jeremy has his kid or his mom takes Addie for at least once or twice a week. Cory has the girlses for at least four days out of the week.  If I had had that kind of ALONE TIME when my kids were young, I would have been finding so much to do in my life. Shit, I did do a lot of things in my life while working full-time, being a wife and a mother. It is possible. Leah and the rest of these failed mothers make it seem impossible and so stressful. Pleeeeeze.

Kail as a single parent is the ONLY connection Issac and Lincoln have, if she dies or is paralyzed, the two boys will grow up apart.

It's an uncessary risk that is selfish in her particular case, that is all.  Of course, voluntarily being put under for plastic surgery while your husband is deployed is an even bigger selfish risk.

I just don't think a father would receive the same scrutiny for doing something like this. JMO.

He *has* a wheelchair van already but leaves the chair at school. And a standard non-motorized chair would injure someone with muscular dystrophy if used often. Maybe the doctor said something totally different to them separately, though that would go directly against everything he's said on screen and everything I know about muscular dystrophy. This actually happens with other parents of muscular dystrophy a lot when they refuse to use a wheelchair or don't believe the doctor. It only hurts the kids.

I swear, that girl has legal genies stashed away somewhere. She gets out of more trouble than anyone I've ever seen.

I haven't read yet what other people posted so hope I'm not repeating something but Janelle is definitely lying in the court room. The way she described she threw the cup is not consistent with how a person would hold the cup and then it would slipped out of the hand by accident. The way she said it slipped accidentally and how she shown it is how you would for example throw a baseball. Also she said Jessica was coming towards her which she took as a threat but then she said it ended on Jessica's lap. Jessica also said she was in the car and not outside so how could the Mason jar ended in her lap? How this wasn't addressed I don't understand, it should be asked during cross examination. I'm not even a lawyer and I noticed it right away on first viewing. This is fucking joke. What kind of jury was that???

Lulz! Probably the kind of jury who was pissed they had to take a day off from work or arrange childcare so they could spend hours in a courtroom listening to these dumb whores air out their personal drama while the lawyers did their best summer stock impersonations of Perry Mason. At least that's the kind of juror I would've been had I sat in on this trial.

I hate that I might even defend Janelle but I'm really not trying to... however.. anyone OTHER than Janelle I could see how you could be angry and waving your arms around hanging onto a glass and it accidentally flies out of your hands.

But then it couldn't be an accidental throw if she's accusing Jessica of coming towards her - which I think is a confession of "she was coming at me so I retaliated"

I believe Jenelle said last year that Nathan brought Jessie (unbeknownst to Jenelle that she was coming) and that Jessie was taunting her. Now, hitting and throwing is not an appropriate response, and that's on Jenelle, but I have hard time conjuring up sympathy to someone who intentionally antagonized an aggressive, unstable person just for funsies.  I also believe Jenelle is telling the truth that Jessie was antagonizing her. Not to excuse her behavior, but I find no one in this instance particularly likeable or innocent.

That was the weirdest trial ever. Apparently, no rules of evidence were at play. It was pretty clear no one prepared Jessie (sp?) and Nathan for their testimony. Nathan, especially, was saying stuff that was non-responsive and made it look like he and Jessie were trying to get back at Jenelle for keeping Kaiser from him. The whole thing was a farce. But I don't blame the jury. The state's case was a mess (from what I saw, anyway).

ETA: On another note, Chelsea's eyeliner is really awful. She's so pretty and it covers up her natural beauty.

I never heard of a uniformed police officer being a prosecutor in a criminal trial.  How can the State get away with NOT being represented by an actual attorney?

I hear you. I'm loathe to defend Jenelle on anything, but I absolutely believe Jessica came looking for a fight and and rolled down that window so Jenelle could see she was in the car. Nathan also wanted to throw it in Jenelle's face that he was seeing someone else. He could've easily taken a guy friend or his mother to help get his stuff if he didn't want to go to Jenelle's alone. Ultimately Jenelle was in the wrong, but those two don't have clean hands either.

I agree. Nathan obviously has nothing to say because he's assaulted her much more intensely 2 times since this incident that we know about. But he definitely wanted to make Jenelle jealous and instigate a conflict when he brought her over there. He was hoping for that outcome so he could call the cops on her just like she did on him. And he knows she's bipolar and can't handle her emotions just like he can't.

Nobody deserves to be assaulted, and I'm absolutely not defending Jenelle, she's a POS as far as I'm concerned. It is absolutely not Jessica's fault that she was assaulted...Any of the 3 times we know about. But Nathan very much orchestrated this and wanted it to happen. Fucked up considering he was putting his gf in danger. Instead of upset, he was probably gleeful.

This! If I just started dating someone while they were still with someone they shared a baby with I'd be damned if I would come 5 feet of the other woman. 1. Out of respect for a relatively new break up 2. Emotions are stronger when there is a shared child that was a baby at the time 3. I wouldn't want to see my ex's new girl in my driveway without notice or an arranged meet and greet since we need to be civil for the child involved, so I wouldn't put another woman in that position.

Nathan and Jessica were looking for an altercation and they knew how Jenelle would react so they set her up. Jessica was NOT anymore of the victim than Jenelle was. They both suck and Nathan can suck it with his stupid "Morning Judge," butt kissing persona. Sit down. Violence is not the answer but instigating people is childish.

Either Cory or his dad Jeff posted a picture of Ali running the bases. I remember posting the link to the picture because it infuriated me that they were letting her do this.

I do remember seeing a picture of Ali using the wheelchair at Corys. It stands out because it was such a surprise.  Leah did use it once on vacation. She took a picture at Greatwolf Lodge on their big vacation and Ali was sitting in the chair.....with the other two kids poses on top of it!

I have an ear and sinus inf so I feel like crap right now, but when I feel better I'll look and piece together where we are in these episodes as far as dates. The one reunion was filmed either right before or right after Jenelle's spring break trip to Padre Island.  If they picked right back up filming then the date is probably April.  However, since Isaac graduated Kindergarten it could be May.  Finding the pic of the softball game and Kails skydiving is a good starting point.

Well, I agree it's not her "fault" in the fact that Jenelle had no right to hit her or throw anything at her, so the fact that she did, regardless of what Jessica said, makes Jenelle a criminal and Jessica a victim, strictly legally speaking.

However- I just can't feel too sorry for someone poking the bear like that. It's not just that it's unwise or unsafe. To me, the kind of person who gets off on riling up someone they've never met is just a shit person. At that point (as Jessica was taunting Jenelle prior to the glass throwing incident), Jenelle had done Jessica no wrong.

Doing laundry so I've got TM2 in the background but I just noticed Kailyn and Jo were celebrating a kinder graduation.

I just don't get the whole "graduation" from kindergarten thing.  Or anything else besides high school, for that matter.  I mean seriously, what do kids that age accomplish that warrants so much hoopla, with caps and gowns no less, at the end of the school year?  By the time they DO graduate high school, it must be a ho-hum experience.  Maybe I'm just old.

Yea, I really put most of this on Nathan. He knows how volatile Jenelle is. And he is a very sneaky character. Remember the time when he faked going out of town and then surprised Jenelle? He's just as nuts as she is. So I can see him feeding stuff to Jessi about Jenelle and then intentionally dragging her up there to provoke a fight. Both girls are ultimately responsible for their behavior, but he gets way too much glee out of this.

they just look really cute in mini-grad gear.  and they're up on the stage singing their song or whatever but they can't stay still & then we all take pics & videos & we post them online & all of our lucky relatives pretend to watch it and....

Upon re-watching, it seems what Jenelle was trying to say is, she saw the cup in Jessica's lap area right before Jenelle turned around to run away.  As for Jessica, she is lying about sitting in the car. I believe Jenelle when she testified about Jessica taunting her. If they were there to pick up Nathan's clothes, as she testified, why would she be in the car while Nathan picks up his clothes? It makes sense she would have gotten out of the car to help him and then take the opportunity to say some shit to Jenelle. I don't have sympathy for Jenelle reacting the way she did, that was an assault. I just believe Jessica and Nathan are not innocent and they both lied about what really went down. They used this assault to get back at Jenelle, not to seek justice.

To those asking about what career Jenelle is talking about, she is referencing the "medical" career. She had just graduated from that school a few months before and she was seeking a job. Now, I know she wasn't committed to this whole career thing because this was around the time she was balling about being ill and having 89,502,098 symptoms of some disease.

Yeah, @Mkay no one has a wheelchair van. Leah and Cory both have a trailer on the back of their vehicles to carry the wheelchair. That trailer can be unhitched when need be.

OK, thanks.  Guess I have that to look forward to as a grandparent.  Back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, we just cleaned out our desks and went home on the last day of school.

@Tatum, I totally agree. Unfortunately legally it has to be one victim and one perpetrator, and while anyone who assaults someone does deserve the legal consequences, the fault went Jenelle, very closely followed by Nathan, and Jessica with less fault but fault nonetheless. The best possible outcome was a screaming match. The best! Is that really appropriate to instigate when there are kids involved?

And yes, @GreatKazu, sitting in the car was a total lie. Nathan and Jessica weren't telling the truth either. This was orchestrated to get back at Jenelle. Not that I have a shred of sympathy for her, but come on, those two were not blameless.

Is she completely cured now?  She seems to be living a normal life (normal for her anyway).

I agree it's ridiculous. What's next, graduation ceremonies for daycare? And stay off my lawn or I'll get the hose...

Well, teapot, just to SEE Nathan--and even Uncle Bad Touch, they're not unattractive looking men.  Now, once you realize who they're partnered with, what they say when they open their mouths, and how they behave, then you realize how unattractive they actually are. Same with Jenelle. To look at her she's a pretty girl, but because she's such a bitch all that pretty-ness goes out the window. As they say, pretty is as pretty does.

Jenelle looked pregnant in her courtroom attire. She replaced her "disease" with pregnancy, although I wouldn't doubt she does have a disease -  some sort of STD.

My five-year-old niece "graduated" from daycare last August and is attending kindergarten now.  If she weren't so cute, I may have heckled from the audience.  There were actual caps, gowns, and little diplomas and they weren't even in kindergarten yet.
