When I think of a narcissist, I see Vicky Gunvalson's face.  I actually think she is more vain than any of the housewives, in any of the franchises.  She has mastered the art of masquerading as insecure.  I don't think she has an insecure hair on her head.  Why would someone over the age of 25 and not officially engaged, commission photographs such as this?  And what's his deal?  What about her drew him in?  Is he a fame whore?  I mean, it's not that I'm saying she's unloveable...

Agreed, hence my engagement photo comment.  That's the vibe I get from it.  Hopefully, she's not so nutty as to think a woman being engaged to marry for a 4th time, is in need of engagement photos.  If that's what's happening.

Didn't Briana and her husband have a photo almost exactly like that in their engagement shoot? Vicki reminds me of a former neighbor I had.  She was on her 4th marriage and did the whole white gown, princess wedding thing.  Whatever floats your boat. 

Ryan seems to be buying a lot of toys in North Carolina - new truck, tractor, boat, hot tub...

Let's not forget Brianna's brother who "bought" himself a million (IIRC) dollar condo in San Diego from doing what for a living? He was probably on the verge of embarrassing Vicki with his lack of achievements in the career/financial success arena (other than working for his mommy) so Vicki likely bought the condo for him. She likes buying gifts for her kids so she can feel in control.

I think she initially buys them (perhaps holds the mortgage on) or just the down payment on and then the kids owe her. Yup. I totally agree that it’s a control issue. Since he is in the same business and/ or shares the insurance company with Vicki  (or last I knew about) it might be in his best interest to keep going after the carrot that Mommy is dangling.

The newest image is probably  airbrushed (and possibly still swollen). Her eyes don't look different but her mid face is definitely plumper. The biggest change seems to be to the lower third of her face. I wonder if Vix had a chin implant before she landed on TV leading to that pointy look in the S2 image above, which was later replaced by another implant a few years ago (she talked about how she wasn't healed when filming began). Maybe she had that later implant taken out and an extended-angle implant put in to give her jaw more dimension. That is an impressive job. She must be good because their school produces a lot of good nurses and competition to get a job there is stiff (also nearby Duke). Kudos to her. Evidently the “empathy and caring genes” skipped her mother but I’m glad that she got them. Nobody wants a cold fish nurse.

The plumpness in her cheeks makes her eyes look tiny to me.

From the nose up she looks like Olivia Newton John.

So many stars are starting to blend into each other. It could be because they use the same plastic surgeons or because the Hollywood aesthetic of beauty has them all going for the same thing. Vicki (or her auto-tuner) is looking pretty good. Some people have had botch jobs and no longer carry their original good looks.

Michael Niccole (Alexis)*  and Miland Ambe (Tamra) have both been featured on the show as having performed work on the OC wives. Terry Dubrow, of course, had camera time but, other than removing Tams' finger tattoo, didn't work on any of the wives (I don't think). Vix and her doc should put testimonials on their respective websites because, as you said, she looks great.

 

*Do you recall how hostile Heather was to Alexis from the beginning? I've wondered if Alexis either consulted with Terry before opting for Niccole or said something to the effect that she found Niccole's work superior and it got back to Heather. Something had to have happened that made Heather go so hard for Alexis -- it can't have been simply that Heather heard Alexis was snippy with Nordstrom sales staff (particularly laughable since Jeff Lewis' revelation of how Heather treated the wait staff if front of him).

Yes, a cross between Alison Sweeney and Olivia Newton John.  Olivia has had some health issues (cancer, I believe).  Her face got plumper as time went on but I'd guess it was due to meds and a bit of surgery.

And, if that is truely Vicki in the picture, it must have happened after filming this season.  She looks like the old Vicki in previews.
